Architectural organism
Drbal, Jaroslav ; Mačuda, Michal (referee) ; Vítek, Jiří (advisor)
The inspiration is the human body. It is a fascinating grouping of diverse types of tissues, thanks to specialized cells that form organs that perform various tasks in your body - perfect cooperation of individual groups - organs. Your authorities should be understood as "machines" that fulfill your responsibilities throughout the system. These machines are suitable for us and help us so that we can get on our side as well. Man changes, he looks for the environment and organs, and therefore parts of his bodies change with whom. Motivation is the search for articulation of individual processes, principles taking place in the human body. They perceive them that it is possible to observe all the principles taking place on a microscopic scale and to approach us on a scale - they will reduce man. All is intertwined.

The Counterpoint
Bučková, Anna ; Mačuda, Michal (referee) ; Vítek, Jiří (advisor)
The connection between music and architecture was a field of many people all over the world throughout history. Attitude is different in every single way. Someone feels music in architecture through the feelings someone uses exact methods. My way led through the many formal analysis to design my own composing method on the basis of music patterns. The idea for designing my opera house in the capital Prague on the bank of the Vltava river was a symphonic poem written by Bedřich Smetana – Vltava. The tones of the music flow gracefully like a river, from the soft lines of flutes to the orchestra pother. And this is the story of the template for my design, where the river bank escalates to the opera theatre. And this space of opera is curious in some way. It can be changed between performances from opera to the Philharmonie purpose.

It is located in the midst of the traffic junction where international motorway meets international cycling route, Husovice train station and two tram end-stops. The project on the case study of hybrid building consisting of parking house and housing, shows exemplary solution for two key trends in contemporary urban planning: Transition towards automotive transport as public service and housing for “singles”.

Rubáč, František ; Mačuda, Michal (referee) ; Vítek, Jiří (advisor)
The thesis primarily deals with the topic of AI and its use in architecture. In the thesis I first discuss AI in a broader context, then I present the different possibilities of using AI in architecture. I describe the theoretical use of AI and accompany this description with practical examples. I then focus on organic architecture and on generating organic facades and buildings. Towards the end of the thesis I will show the results of my work on the generated outputs and models.
School on The Joy, Zdar nad Sázavou
Morávek, Jakub ; Mačuda, Michal (referee) ; Vítek, Jiří (advisor)
The bachelor's thesis refers to the official assignment of the management of the school Na Radosti in Žďár nad Sázavou. It is a democratic school where the teaching system is based on freedom of decision and non-archiving of individuals in the community. This school is now located in various locations in the city and needs a new quality space that meets current requirements and standards. The school with a capacity of about 100 pupils should create a pleasant space for teaching and support concentration. The demarcated plot of land directly encourages the direct connection of the school with nature, which is also required by the given system of teaching, as the teaching is also distributed to the outdoor areas.
Modernity and the Holocaust
Kolomazníková, Pavla ; Mačuda, Michal (referee) ; Rozwalka, Szymon (advisor)
The topic of the diploma thesis Modernity and the Holocaust refers to the book of the same name by the Polish sociologist Zygmunt Bauman. In this book, Zykmund Bauman analyzes the relationship between modernist thinking and the Holocaust from a sociological perspective. In my diploma thesis I deal with the design of the Documentation Center, for which a closed architectural competition was announced in Brno. The topic is a continuation of the previous project, in which we analyzed mainly Bauman's work. These analyzes helped us to continue designing the center with a completely new perspective of thinking not only about the society, but also the architecture itself. In my project, I work with the issue of borders and barriers in connection with the division of people and spaces. I am looking for a ways of creatig the space that, by its very nature, call into question what is the real meaning of borders and barriers. In my proposal, I work with the idea of borders at different levels. As at the urban, service or material level. In my projcet I am disrupting som of the barriers and borders, I am creating new ones, but I am also reversing the relation ship between each other.
Baths +
Půček, Ondřej ; Mačuda, Michal (referee) ; Kristek, Jan (advisor)
The crucial element and also the moving force behind every spa resort is certainly water. Regarding its flow, we are able to project tracks in which we can relatively affect its movement. At the same time, we must take into consideration that water is a specific medium and that its stream is also characterised by its unpredictability and limited control. In the spa resort's dominant area there are mirror-surfaced elements, which completely alternate the spatial arrangement. They also react to the water's temperature and its amount.
Riverside House
Vepřková, Adéla ; Mačuda, Michal (referee) ; Vítek, Jiří (advisor)
The proposal responds to the housing crisis in London. This is a cheap, affordable and transitional housing. It is based on the idea of co-living, where people share certain spaces. Man is gradually passing through spaces from the most public to private ones, which is a private room with a minimal area because one does not need much to live. Residents can take their initiative through sliding walls that allow them to change their space.
