The Role of Primary School Teachers in Moral Education

This theoretical bachelor's thesis focuses on the role of an primary-school teacher in moral education of a child. It defines important moral conceptions related to these problems. This thesis explains the mechanisms of the socialization and social learning processes which are a precondition of moral education. The text also describes theories of moral judgment development of an individual and points out opportunities of their implementation into the work of a teacher. Specific aspects of teacher's role in moral education of a child form an individual chapter. Attention is paid here especially to the teacher being as an important educational model, his fundamental personal characteristics and authority. The following part of this chapter defines the terms discipline and education of students' character. The last chapter concentrates on the teacher and possibilities of moral education in the context of Framework Educational Programme for Basic Education.
Teacher's Citizenship Competence and Conception of Teaching

The thesis follows up citizenship competence of a teacher and its influence on the conception of teaching. It shows components of the citizenship competence and presents it in the personality of the teacher, in educational and other documents, in education generally and in teacher's active approach in school and in life. Qualitative research looks into the influence of citizenship competence of the teacher on his approach to teaching. It introduces the personalities of teachers of civic and social sciences, their views on citizenship competence and its parts, which they observe on themselves. The research results also present an overall approach to developing this competence in pupils and students and ways of promoting good citizenship in school. The topic of an apolitical school also mentioned in the thesis. Interviews with teachers and observations of teaching are used as research methods.
Influence of school climate to the teacher and pupils at primary school

The thesis in the theoretical part with factors and phenomena that affect the school climate, the climate in the staff and classroom in relation to the teacher's personality, professional competences, motivation and self - esteem in a profession. I tis interested in teacher's satisfaction and its impact on teacher's interact with students and colleagues. The approaches to studying climate are collected at the end of the theoretical part. The practical part presents research based on observation describes the atmosphere of the school, which is an important indicator of school climate. The factors are analyzed here that affect the educational and pedagogical work of teachers and their satisfaction in working life. This bachelor's thesis named "Child with ADHD Syndrome in Kindergarten" is aimed at mapping problems connected with upbringing and education of children with ADHD syndrome in the kindergarten environment. Such study could lead to extension of our knowledge of the ADHD syndrome, to understanding the child's living situation, and further to a description of possibilities of systematic work with such children which could result in allleviation of ADHD syndrome manifestations.
Using innovative teaching methods to enhance social relationships in the classroom: focus on 6-10 year olds attending primary school

ANNOTATION: The aim of this dissertation is to determine whether innovative teaching methods may positively influence the quality of social relationships and whether they may contribute towards better communication and collaborative behaviour amongst pupils. The goal of the given approach is to develop positive group dynamics and create inspiring environment for the application of modern teaching methods. The theoretical part centres on the origins of innovative teaching methods that were largely motivated by the evolving conception of child's personality. This section describes some of the key alternative schools and programmes that gave rise to the aforementioned innovative teaching methods. The goal of the theoretical section is to clearly define the concept of innovative teaching methods with emphasis on those that contribute towards the formation of a positive classroom climate. The theoretical part then conceptualises innovation in teaching and explains the role of the teacher. The personality of a 10-year old and the attributes defining this developmental stage are also explored. The research part describes the implementation of given innovative methods in teaching fourth-grade pupils. Game as an ed educational tool in an interest education

The bachelor thesis deals with an influence of a game on a personality of a child in a younger pupilage while wrapped up in an interest education, especially enfluence of the game during activities with troubled children with special needs. The goal of thesis is to examine to what extend intentionaly pedagogically lead didacticly selected game can prevent problems that occur in integrating these children into the collective and also can be reduce with the game prove behavior their practicular handicap. It explores different posibilities of integration of the childrens in to our society by choice of sutable games, corresponding with the children age.
The use of Methods in Drama Education at Nursery School

This Bachelor thesis on the theme "Use of methods of drama in education in kindergartens" analyses what methods of drama in education are used in kindergartens. Its aim is to determine whether these methods are interesting and stimulating for children. The thesis is divided into the theoretical part and the practical part. The theoretical part explains the concept of drama in education and describes the development of drama in education in the world and in the Czech Republic. It also focuses on its goals, objectives, methods, and techniques. It mentions the teacher's personality, principles of influencing children, and the benefit of drama in education, especially in the area of stimulating. The practical part presents the results of the qualitative survey conducted by observing, to which attitude scales are added. The set for the research consists of preschool-age children; observation and attitude scales took place in the premises of kindergartens.
Teacher personality in a Classic School and Alternative School

This thesis is called "Teacher personality in a Classic School and Alternative School". The thesis is based on a theoretical-empirical approach. The aim of the thesis is to depict differences in personalities of teachers at regular school and alternative school. Theoretical part concerns about characteristics of alternative schools and their distinctions in comparison with regular schools. Teacher's personality, its structure and basic terminology are also concerns of a theoretical part, including teacher typology and their typical features. Separate part of the thesis is about teacher competences and qualities of a good teacher. At the end of the theoretical part are described requirements on a teacher of regular and alternative school. Practical part of the thesis was realized by questionnaire research. The goal of the thesis and research assumptions are there. The research is supplemented by evaluation of those assumptions. It contains tables and graphical illustrations. The summary of the thesis sums up acquired findings about teachers personality at regular and alternative school.
Leisure Time Activities and Workload of Primary School Teachers

This diploma thesis focuses on free time activities of elementary school teachers in relation with their perception of workload. In the theoretical part the teacher's characteristics are mentioned, but it primarily focuses on workload and teachers' free time activities. The topics are seen through multiple points of view. Different segments of workload and types of free time are presented. Empirical part is elaborated using in-depth interview with chosen elementary school teachers. The main goal of this research was to uncover, how much the workload influences teachers' spending of their free time and how are they coping with the workload. Participants of this research are coping with the workload well and they are spending their free doing activities completely different from their profession. Most mentioned activities were physical activities, manual labor and sport.
Factors in the popularity of teachers with pubescents

This thesis 'Factors in the popularity of teachers with pubescents' has theoretical and empirical character. The aim of the thesis is to examine factors in the popularity of teachers with pubescents in the second grade of elementary schools by the method of questionnaire. Theoretical part is focused on teachers and the period of adolescence. In the first part there are explained terms like teacher, teacher's personality, typology and authority of teachers. Further there are closely explained pedagogical competences. The second part is mostly focused on pubescent characteristics from the perspective of physical, emotional, cognitive and social development. Practical part is based on quantitative research. The aims and assumptions of research are stated in this part. Questionnaire survey is based on answers of students of three elementary schools in České Budějovice. Results of research are accompanied by tables and graphs. Assumptions are verified in conclusion as well as summarized findings of teachers' popularity with pubescents.
