TITLE: Tender for teachers of vocational subjects AUTHOR: Mgr. Roman Kocina DEPARTMENT: Pedagogical Faculty of Charles University in Prague SUPERVISOR: Mgr. Irena Lhotková, Ph.D. ABSTRACT: The aim of the thesis describes how the selection process for the position of teachers of vocational subjects and look at the issue of secondary schools in region. In the theoretical section describes the recommended procedure for making the tender complete ad design, design a personal questionnaire and the interview questions. Analyze the problem here is the Ten selection, applicant tracking, using a variety of sources addressing, pre-selection and use of personal interview, test and demonstration work as a method of selecting candidates. In the practical part of the research was conducted at the high school Region in the selection process. Based on the lessons learned was to map the situation and evaluate their results and advice on problem areas announced by the proceedings. Title: Self-management of a newly qualified kindergarten headmistress Author: Eva Vlastníková Department: School Management Centre Supervisor: Mgr. Irena Lhotková Ph.D. Abstract: This bachelor's thesis deals with problems of self-management of a newly qualified kindergarten headmistress. It is focused on issues of correct prioritization, awareness of own strengths and weaknesses, adequate delegation, effective time management, planning and possibilities of education for a headmistress. The target of this bachelor's thesis is to map, identify and analyze the most common problems in the area of self-management of a newly qualified headmistress in the kindergarten and suggest optimal possibilities how to reduce or eliminate these problems. The practical part of this thesis is based on research method. 109 headmistresses of Prague kindergartens were interviewed through electronic questionnaire. On the basis of this research three statements were confirmed and only one statement was partially disproved. The thesis indicate to the most common problems in self-management of a newly qualified kindergarten headmistress - determination of priority, clear objects determination, deficiencies in the delegation of activities, authorities, responsibilities and effective time management. Role of Helthy Life Style as Primary Prevention of Civilization Diseases

The main aim of this diploma thesis is to focus on prevention of chronic non-infectious diseases with epidemic occurrence (so called civilizational diseases). The theoretical part deals with each illness separately, it describes cause factors, which are or are not possible to influence, and introduces primary preventive precautions that are available in the Czech Republic nowadays. The author evaluates the qualities of these programmes and their potential to work as an effective primary prevention. Preventive effect of education was tested in the practical part of the thesis. Eating habits and physical activity of grammar school students from Strakonice were found out through the questionnaire method. Following lecture on healthy lifestyle involved the thinking of students and the second round of questioning was done one month later. Students' answers confirmed the possitive influence of the educational programme as the eating habits improved as well as frequency of their physical activity. Educational programmes play an important role in primary prevention of civilizational diseases. Abstract, Keywords Implementation of Global Developmental Education in Low - Threshold Facility for Children and Youth in Čáslav. The aim of this bachelor thesis is to describe an experiment, which is currently taking place in a low-threshold facility for children and youth called Domek. It describes the implementation of global developmental education with the possibility of interconnecing the topics and activities into the common activities of the facility Domek. The bachelor thesis consists of two parts. In the first part, which is theoretical, we are acquainted with the global developmental education, its goals, topics and methods. Further sections deal with the topic of low-threshold facilities in general, respectively with the facility Domek and the researches in other low-threshold facilities. In the second, practical part, we are introduced to the project and its activities which have already taken place in the low-threshold facility and whose aims were to integrate the global developmental education into the ordinary activities. The school chronicles in Dolní Povltaví

This Bachelors thesis examines school chronicles in the region of Dolní Povltaví, from the 2nd half of the 19th century to the 1st half of the 20th century time periods. In particular, results from the chronicles of schools in Odolena Voda, Klecany and Husinec - Řež. This thesis is divided into two sections, the first section focuses on the history of education from Marie Terezie's school reforms in the 1st half of the 20th century along with school administration in the same time period. Then I define school chronicles as a source, firstly, describing the history of writing chronicles and continuing with a view more focused upon school chronicles. Finally I describe the region of Dolní Povltaví and the history of schools of which chronicles I worked with. In terms of the materials used, I compared data contained in chronicles, of which related to the school itself, the teachers and the pupils. Pre-School Education of the Vietnamese in the Czech Republic

This text is especially intended as an educational material for teachers at kindergartens, however it can be interesting also for general public. The thesis includes multicultural education in the Czech kindergartens. In this work I try to describe the problems that concern the inclusion of Vietnamese children in Czech kindergartens. The theoretical part deals with terms related to multicultural education. Further I details describe the Vietnamese customs, traditions and other differences between the Vietnamese and Czech culture. Ethical Standards of Public Administration

The "Ethical standards of Public Administration" diploma thesis looks at the application of the Code of Ethics in central government administration and the civil service. The objective of the thesis is to evaluate the collected data, to determine the level of use of a single document, which addresses the ethical values within the administrative authorities, to identify problem areas and to propose possible solutions. The problem is defined and graphically displayed using a structured tree chart in the introductory part of the thesis. The next part of the thesis is dedicated to the subsequent identification of the problem and to the theoretical solutions, including the outline of a problem of applying ethical standards within the context of reform in government administration. This is followed by a brief description of the changes in the employment of civil servants in the government (public) administration authorities in neighbouring countries. The empirical part of the thesis is dedicated to an assessment of the research of the Code of Ethics implemented in individual government administration authorities and using interviews conducted with experts, the problem areas of implementing ethical standards are identified. Education as a status symbol -its conception, development, distribution and alocation in a society

1 Abstract: The Thesis is of theoretical and empirical character, and its central theme is education - its conception, development, distribution and allocation in society, its social stratification and status-making function. In the theoretical part it examines how sociology conceives this broad topic: What are the different views on the meaning of education and which subdiscipline of sociology specialize in education and how to work with it. It is obvious that sociology as a multiparadigmatic science is not limited to one theoretical concept of education. The thesis attempts a brief summary of both historic and contemporary sociological considerations. The text of the thesis extends the socio-theoretical knowledge of education. The empirical research analyzes an original survey: "The process of education and stratification." It focuses on the relationship of education and life hapinness, the over- qualification, horizontal gender segregation, attitudes towards educational policy of the state, standard of living, sense of persons own happiness, work in the respondents' studying field and many other contexts.

Title: Teambuilding programs from the sight of educational companies. Objectives: The thesis aims to design, implement and evaluate teambuilding course, focused on the development of cooperation and communication skills. Following the theme of teambuilding, the thesis analyzes operation of the company organizing training and development courses. Methods: The thesis used methods of observation, structured interview and questionnaire. Observation method was applied to the background of the whole company. Interviews were carried out with the senior executive of team-building company. Questionnaire was attended by 18 people. Results: The thesis gives a comprehensive view on the issue of teambuilding as one of the tools used for employee development. The outputs of the participant's questionnaire used in the proposed program indicate to generally successful course. Keywords: development, education, employee, team, cooperation, teambuilding.
