Proposal of the Geological Trails in the Area of the Rychleby Mts.

Title: The proposal of the Geological Trails in the Area of the Rychleby Mts. Abstract: This thesis is devoted to draft for new nature trails in the area of the Rychleby Mts. with a specific focus on geology. The proposed trails are preceded by detailed characteristics of geomorphology, geology and stratigraphy of the studied area. The trails are located in two areas, i. e. the northern part of the Rychleby Mts. (Račí údolí - Zálesí - Javorník) and Žulová highlands (Around Žulová pluton). The first mentioned trail is designed in two levels of difficulty for elementary and secondary schools. The trail are supplemented by specific guidebooks, worksheets and the "Didactic recommendation for teachers", which included general didactic recommendations, next detailed information about the trails and suggestions for other additional activities. The trails had been verified in practice on students, amateurs and experts. Anthe effectiveness of the trails was evaluated through surveys with participants. It has been proved that the trails are suitable complement of education process mainly for natural science and the trails are also useful for non-educational leisure activities for visitors of these areas. Cross-curricular theme "Forest" and forest pedagogy as one of the possibilities of its realization

Cross-curricular themes are important formative elements of education. A forest ecosystem is an environment with great importance and potential, and knowledge of forest ecosystem, processes taking place in it and human activities associated with it can be included in many educational areas. By combining these two phenomena we gain cross- curricular theme "Forest". A possible instrument for realization this theme is the forest pedagogy. In the theoretical part of the work is the term cross-curricular theme delineated and defined in general and also specifically on the example of cross-curricular theme "Forest". About the forest ecosystem are given knowledge that contribute to spreading the results of forestry research and to modernization of teaching about the forest ecosystem at elementary and secondary schools. The forest pedagogy is introduced as an instrument that can significantly contributes to deepen the learning points about "Forest" and its presentation as cross-curricular theme. Nature Trail in the Klanovice Forest with Support ICT

This diploma thesis has aimed to elaborate a nature trail in the area of Klánovice Forest, which is the part of a nature park Klánovice - Čihadla in the eastern part of Prague and to complete the trail with electronic educational materials. The nature trail itself will consist of tagg stops enabling visitors to download texts and materials into their cell phones or tablets. The texts of the stops are supplemented with educational presentations, school work sheets and field work sheets. The content of the stops and related teaching materials have been prepared in accordance with systematic teaching of natural history and biology at primary schools and lower grades of grammar schools. The thesis also contains the results of a questionnaire survey of pupils' attitudes towards the use of modern technology at class; 213 questionnaires have been evaluated in total in the years 2008, 2009, 2011 and 2013. The last part of the thesis and appendices contain own texts of stops and related educational materials. In spring 2014 this trail will be realized and educational materials will become a part of the texts on the individual stops and will be available to wide public. Nature Trails (Use of Nature Trails in Teaching in Primary Schools)

The thesis is focused on nature trails and way of using them for teaching in primary schools, and it can be divided into two main parts. The theoretical part is focused on nature trails, their functions, types, application and also their history in the Czech Republic. Substantial part of this topics is devoted to the rules of building nature trails. Other topics in this theoretical part relate to the nature conservation in the Czech Republic and the environmental education and awareness. Regarding to the theme of nature protection, I focused on the legislation of in the Czech Republic. For it, among other things, must be made allowances when building nature trails. The last section discusses the Protected Landscape Area Žďárské vrchy - area of the Czech Republic, which I chose for my research. The second part of thesis is the research. The aim of the research was to determine whether teachers come while science teaching in the field. And if so, how often. Further questions were focused on the criteria of selection of the nature trail and overall personal experience with nature trails. The project of educational cycling trails in Protected Landscape Area of Eagle mountains

Title: The project of educational cycling trails in Protected Landscape Area of Eagle mountains  Objective The aim of this work is to create prject of three cycling trails, with three degrees of difficulty in eagle mountains area. The trails will be shown in information brochure with photos and information about this area. The brochure will be available in tourist information centre and online on some web page. Methods Analyzes of existing trails in this area, searching for information about interesting places, history and geografical points. Consulting and verifying this information with people from Eagle mountains PLA (Protected Landscepe Area) organization and interviewing locals about this area. Verifying trails by group of cyclists. Results The result of this thesis is a brochure with three bicycle educational trails in eagle mountains. Turistika and educational trails in the Jizerské hory

Title: Turistika and Educational Trails in the Jizerské hory Objectives: The main targets of the theses are to introduce hiking, biking and cross-country skiing as the most used types of turistika kinds in the Jizerské hory Mountains PLA, to get acquainted with the Jizerské hory and educational trails located there and to explain the potential for their development in the future. Methods: To introduce hiking, biking and cross-country skiing, the following sources have been used: outdoor activities, the Jizerské hory Mountains PLA and educational trails professional literature; websites of main institutions, i. e. Czech Tourist Club, Nature and Landscape Protection Agency of the Czech Republic and further available. To create an overview of the current state of educational trails in the Jizerské hory Mountains PLA and possible alternatives for their expansion, the internet research has been carried out and the obtained information have been related to the Jizerské hory. Results: All educational trails in the Jizerské hory Mountains PLA are focused on hiking. They are realized in the form of information boards. Modern technologies using smartphones, which could eliminate the use of boards, have already been used on educational trails in other areas. They are advantageous in many points of view....
