Analysis of the Attitude and the Motivation of Future Graduates Towards Self-employment Based on the Push - Pull Theory

The topic of the master thesis is an analysis of the attitude of future graduates towards self-employment. The aim of the thesis is to find out, within the push-pull theory, which factors currently influence graduates in decision-making whether to be employed or to start their own business and whether their attitude has changed due to the situation in society associated with the COVID-19 pandemic. The research will be conducted by a questionnaire survey. The result of the thesis will be a comparison of motives for decision-making between employment and entrepreneurship before and during the pandemic crisis. Based on the research results, solutions for increasing motivation of future graduates to become entrepreneurs and suggestions for improving strategy of business support organizations to support entrepreneurship among graduates according to their needs will be proposed

The thesis concerns the causes why do graduates of the Faculty of Philosophy and Arts at the University of West Bohemia in Pilsen perform better on the labour market than their colleagues at the Faculty of Philosophy and Arts at the University of Pardubice. The thesis tries to find out what factors it is caused by. It wants to contribute to identify the appropriate measures to improve the employability of the humanities graduates. We distinguish between external and internal factors. The selection of all factors is explained and justified in detail. External factors are labour market segmentation and regional labour market situation. Internal factors are prestige of the college, professional experience while studying, extent of emphasis on soft skills in teaching and range of career counselling. The thesis is two case studies and its goal is to offer a profound and comprehensive understanding of the phenomenon being researched. Structured interviews with employees of career centres of the University of Pardubice and the University of West Bohemia were utilised. However, the basis of the thesis is the study duties analysis of the students at these faculties. Higher education analysis in the Czech Republic with a focus on graduates 2001-2017 Abstract The aim of this thesis is the analysis of higher education graduates in the Czech Republic between 2001 and 2017, focussing on the type of study program, the field of study, the net duration of the study, the graduation age, the citizenship and the gender. As main data source served the register. Changes in the net duration of the study, depending on the above-mentioned factors, were summarized using a general linear model. The gender dependence on the field and the net duration of the study was modeled using logistic regression. In addition, demographic methods were used for net entry rates and net graduation rates. Theoretical introduction to the topic - Trow's Concept, Bologna Process and Strategic Materials of the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports - is also included. The overview of higher education is complemented by the historical development of the higher education system in Czechoslovakia, information on the educational structure according to the SLDB 2011 and international comparisons within the OECD countries complements the overall view of higehr education. Social development of vulnerable youth in Zambia.

Bachelor thesis is focused on the social development of vulnerable youth in Western Province of Zambia, in the town of Mongu. The aim of the thesis is based on research and available literature, to closer mapping project of non-profit organization Njovu o.p.s. "Vocational training for vulnerable children in the Western Province of Zambia in Mongu-Katongo", and seek whether it can help graduates in their personal development and social status. The research work was carried out by a quantitative method, using standardized interviews, the instrument was a questionnaire. In this work, there are specified social and economic aspects of Zambia and introduced the Millennium Declaration and the Millennium Development Goals. Furthermore, it defines vulnerable youth in Zambia and phenomenon of so called Vulnerable youth, which is especially typical for sub-Saharan African countries and also describes the education system in Zambia. Non-profit organizations Njovu o.p.s. is described in details, also its goals and projects and mainly the project "Vocational training for vulnerable children in the Western Province of Zambia in Mongu-Katongo". As part of my work I came to the conclusion that the project of organization Njovu o.p.s.: "Vocational training for vulnerable children in the Western Province of Zambia in Mongu-Katongo" is fulfilling their development plan and their work for the Western Province of Zambia is very beneficial.
History of The Grammar School in Nymburk in the context of the secondary education development.

The aim of my diploma thesis is to capture the history of secondary education and, at the same time, to link this historical development to a particular secondary school - Bohumil Hrabal Gymnasium in Nymburk. The introductory part describes the beginnings of the formation of grammar schools in our state territory. It focuses on education reforms during the Enlightenment. The second part describes the events of the 20th century. It also includes the establishment of a secondary school in Nymburk, periods of the First and Second World Wars, Prague Spring 1968, normalization period and events after 1989. The final part focuses on contemporary life in school, celebrating the establishment of the school, an overview of famous graduates and circumstances of changing the name of the school. The work also contains the testimony of witnesses - graduates and teachers.

Bachelor´s thesis "The comparision of unemployment of graduates and young people in the regions of České Budějovice and Český Krumlov" deals with the labour market in relation to young people and graduates. Unemployment of graduates and young people represents on of the long-term problems in the area state employment policy, not only in the Czech Republic but on a European level too. The main objective of the work is to analyse and compare unemployment aspects of this endangered group on the job market in the regions of České Budějovice and Český Krumlov.
Success rate of graduates of private and public economic universities in the Czech Republic in the labour market in 2015-2016

This thesis focuses on quantitative and mainly qualitative differences between graduates of private and public economic universities and on perception of such differences by employers. Described is the relationship of human capital and education as well as the development of higher education in the Czech Republic over last decades. The central hypothesis of this thesis, i.e. that in the field of economics, graduates of public universities are viewed by employers as "superior" to those from private schools, has been confirmed using the method of questionnaire survey.
