Leisure time physical activities for auditory hancicapped pupils in Prague

The bachelor thesis focuses on the identification of the attitudes of second grade pupils of primary schools for the hearing impaired in Prague towards extracurricular sports activities. The theoretical part is an introduction to the issue of sports with hearing impairment. It describes a person with hearing impairment in terms of his specific life situation and focuses on his communication, personality and compensatory aids. Furthermore, the theoretical part deals with the issues of older school age, education of pupils in schools for the hearing impaired in Prague and sports activities of people with hearing impairment. The theoretical part focuses on sports with hearing impairment from the historical and current point of view and also offers an insight into professional sports. In the practical part, the attitudes of pupils towards extracurricular sports are investigated using an attitude scale. Furthermore, the practical part identifies the circumstances leading to the choice of sport and the influence of communication barriers on the extracurricular sports activities of these pupils. Development of communication skills in children with specific language impairment

The bachelor thesis focuses on speech therapy, specifically on the development of communication skills in children with developmental language disorders. The theoretical part includes two chapters. The first chapter deals with the theoretical background and then the developmental language disorder itself. The theoretical background defines communication, speech, and language, and describes the development of speech, language, and communication, as well as impaired communication skills. The etiological classification of impaired communicative ability is also briefly mentioned. At the end of the chapter, neurodevelopmental disorders, their common features and classification, diagnosis and therapy are defined. The second chapter deals with developmental language disorder. Specifically, it describes its classification, terminology, etiology, symptomatology, diagnosis, and therapy. The empirical part includes a qualitative research investigation consisting of two case studies of selected children with developmental language disorder. Planning of future in families with a child with intellectual disability

This work deals with the issue of future planning in families with a child with mental disabilities. The theoretical part outlines the definition of a family, the specifics of families with a child with mental disabilities, social services for adults with mental disabilities, and the specifics of future planning for people with mental disabilities. Within the practical part of the bachelor thesis, the methodology of the chosen approach is defined, and the results of the research survey are interpreted. The aim of the work is to find out how families with a child with mental disabilities approach future planning. The chosen research method is semi- structured interviews with ten respondents. The testimonies of parents and siblings of children with mental disabilities provided insight into the approach to future planning, the difficulties associated with this topic, and the unique stories of individual families.

Development of language skills in early-age children

The topic of this bachelor's thesis is a development of language skills in early aged children, thus children up to the age of three. The main goal of this thesis is the analysis of a development of language skills in early aged children. The theoretical part of the thesis has two chapters. The first chapter presents the theoretical basis for the issue of language development, the difference between speech and communication as such and describes the production of sounds. Furthermore, there are the basic concepts of the nervous system important for the creation of speech presented in the first chapter. The six cranial nerves (trigeminal nerve, facial nerve, glossopharyngeal nerve, vagus nerve, hypoglossal nerve and vestibulocochlearis nerve) and their influence on speech and hearing production are listed here. The second chapter of the theoretical part of this work is devoted to specific periods in the development of language skills in the early years of the child. The prenatal period is presented here, followed by the screaming period, the pre-speech period and then the period of the first words. The speech comprehension period is listed next. Support of the language development through the stimulation of auditory perception at early childhood

The main topic of the bachelor thesis supports the development through the stimulation of auditory perception in early childhood. The thesis consists of three chapters, two of them are theoretical and the last one is practical. The theoretical part of the bachelor thesis defines basic terms such as speech, language, and communication. Further, it describes the ontogenesis of speech, language and communication in early childhood. The ontogenesis of speech, language and communication is described by two different authors. The next chapter of the theoretical part introduces auditory perception. This chapter also includes a description of the anatomy and physiology of the ear, auditory perception development, and areas of auditory perception. The research part of the bachelor thesis is research based on qualitative methods. The research method used in the bachelor thesis is case studies. KNOTIS Information System

This thesis addresses the problem of managing people, groups of people, resources, and resource permissions in the Unix system managed by the Knowledge Technology Research Group Information System (KNOTIS). The main objective is to effectively combine the use of access lists and groups to manage user access to resources. Based on the properties of the resource and the number of persons with access, the module automatically evaluates which type of permissions is more advantageous for managing permissions to individual resources. The communication between KNOTIS and a server is implemented using the JSON-RPC communication protocol. The content of the communication messages was defined based on specific demands. The result of this thesis is a new group of modules for KNOTIS and the servers managed by it. The modules focus on a new way of communication between the information system and the servers and on how to process the requested changes on the server side, including a more efficient way of managing resource permissions.

Cyber security analysis of photovoltaic systems for apartment buildings

This bachelor thesis focuses on the security problem of a photovoltaic power plant, which is connected to the internet in order to configure it and remotely monitor statistics on electricity production and consumption. A photovoltaic system with an inverter from a selected company with parameters suitable for a small apartment building or a similarly sized building was analyzed. The main objective of the work is to analyze the communication interfaces and protocols through which the inverter communicates, in order to determine whether it is safe from a cybersecurity point of view to have such a system connected to the Internet. The work also includes performing several flooding attacks on the inverter to see if the inverter is able to detect that it is under attack and defend against it appropriately.

Marketing Communication for a Company's Expansion to a Foreign Market

This thesis, divided into three parts, studies the development of a communication mix for the selected company Knihobot, s. r. o., which is currently expanding to the Austrian market. The company specializes in the sale of refurbished books. The first part includes the theoretical framework related to the studied issues. The following section is an analytical part focused on the current company's position. The former is separated into two main parts: microenvironment and macroenvironment analyses. This chapter also includes marketing research conducted using both qualitative and quantitative methods. The final part presents original proposals based on the analytical section, focusing on the communication mix for the Austrian market.

Internal Communication in a Selected Company

The diploma thesis deals with internal communication in a selected company. The thesis is divided into three parts. The first part is theoretical, in which the issues of communication, internal communication and manager communication are presented. The second part is the analytical part where the selected company is introduced and then the evaluation and results of the qualitative research are presented. The last part contains recommendations about internal communication based on the results of the semi-structured interviews. After the implementation of these recommendations, the internal communication in the company should improve.
