Musical fairy tale in kindergarten

Bachelor thesis deals with a musical fairy tale interpreted for children of preschool age. At the beginning, terms related to the given topic were briefly defined. Dramatic education was also mentioned, thanks to the methods of which musical fairy tales were presented to children of preschool age. After that, the preschool age itself and educational areas from the Framework Educational Program for preschool education were defined. The practical part consists of two main research questions, the answers to which were ascertained using qualitative research, using the methods of open coding and structured interview. An important role was played by the dramatization of a musical fairy tale, during which the selected respondents actively observed the reactions of preschool children. An individual structured interview was conducted with each respondent. These interviews were then categorized and analyzed using open coding. The qualitative research shows that the children liked the interpreted musical fairy tale and that all the educational areas from the RVP PV related to the given topic were also fulfilled.
Eating disorders in children before starting school

Introduction: We have still too little information on the diagnostic, therapeutic procedures and nutritional risks of eating disorders in preschool children. Picky or evasive eating behavior can significantly affect the health and quality of life not only of the child, but also of his parents. Aim: The aim of this thesis was to identify possible risk factors that contribute to the development of eating disorders in preschool children. Methods: This is a questionnaire-type research work, carried out on individual cases, in which 21 preschool children with a psychiatrist-confirmed eating disorder were followed and then compared with a group of healthy children, paired by age and gender. The results were statistically processed in the STATISTIKA 12 software and MS EXCEL. Sample: The research group consisted of 21 children with eating disorders, a control group of 22 healthy children, paired by age and gender with the research group. Participants were selected using a simple deliberate selection based on availability and voluntariness. Results: The most significant risk factors, that may contribute to eating disorders (ED) in preschool children, were shorter period of exclusive breastfeeding, lower maternal weight gain during pregnancy, and psychiatric illness in the family. Edita Knotková Title of the bachelor thesis: Options of Motivation to Exercise in Preschool Children with Diastasis Recti Abdominis Abstract: Motivation is one of the factors that affects the outcome of physical therapy, Motivation increases patient compliance during therapy and the associated adherence to exercise outside therapy. This thesis deals with the motivation to exercise and movement in general in preschool children. The goal was to search for possible motivational options that can be used to motivate children to move and then select those that correspond to the conditions of physical therapy. The practical part of this thesis is research, in which the influence of selected motivational options (motivational graphic cards and non-directive therapy) on children's motivation was examined. The children completed two individual therapies with the same exercises. The first took place without motivational options and the second with them. Balancing openness in parents' communication with young children

The thesis aims to explore a phenomenon observed among some contemporary parents: openness in communication with their young children is an important value for them, but on several topics they hesitate whether it is also appropriate in this case or modify it in some way. Based on a qualitative approach using semi-structured interviews with parents of preschool children, the work provides a concrete description of how parents balance their openness in communication about sex, Baby Jesus, death and war, relationships and emotions, as well as in parenting. Subsequently, it presents the common patterns of this balancing across communication topics, describes the motivations, boundaries and barriers to parents' openness in communication, and shows the role of the parent's experience and factors on the child's side. It also describes interpersonal balancing with partners, grandparents and in the context of society. Development of musical skills of preschool children in a montessori facility

This bachelor's thesis focuses on the development of musical skills in preschool children in Montessori institutions. The aim of this work is to provide a detailed view of the general Montessori pedagogy and its musical area, as well as to explore how this method can be used to develop musical skills in preschool children. In the theoretical part, the history and life of Maria Montessori are first described, followed by an explanation of the basic Montessori principles on which the philosophy is based. This is followed by a focus on child development and basic musical concepts associated with it. The theoretical part is concluded with an extensive chapter on the musical development of children and the musical area in the Montessori environment. The practical part is incorporated into the theoretical part of this work in the form of short reflections for greater clarity and empirical reflection of the issue. How to motivate children to read: action research in a kindergarten

This diploma thesis is dealing with the topic of motivation of children of preschool age to read and to improve their preliteracy. The aim of the thesis is to ensure the development of a positive attitude towards reading and also the motivation to read through the set of activities for pre- school children. The text is divided into a theoretical part and an empirical part. In the theoretical part, I am dealing with the explanation of basic concepts such as readership, reading preliteracy and literacy. I am also presenting further the important roles of readership and the readership development. The second chapter is devoted to the development of readership and the motivation to read. The last chapter of theoretical part is about the contemporary literature. The empirical part of the thesis is describing the implementation of the action research in a selected kindergarten. I have defined a problem statement during my action research and I have subsequently determined a proposal to support children's motivation to read. Perceptions of new media by preschool children

The bachelor thesis focuses on preschool children and their perception of new media. The aim of the thesis is to create educational material, based on a theoretical analysis of the given issue with the contribution of empirical evidence, which is focused on bringing the topic of new media closer to preschool children. The theoretical framework defines the term "new media" and describes the field of new media a preschool child should be associated with, based on current studies at the time of writing. As part of the thesis, qualitative research was carried out in the form of action research which consisted of two sets of survey research. The first survey collected data from the children's legal representatives in the form of a questionnaire. The follow-up second survey research took place in the form of individual interviews with the children. The results of the research describe the new media environment of preschool children, the values that are transmitted to children, the positive and negative aspects children perceive in new media, the behaviour they consider correct within new media, and the factors influencing preschool children's perception of new media.
Environmental education in kindergartens with different educational programmes

In this bachelor thesis, environmental educational programs of preschools were studied. Dialogue and a premade survey became a tool for comparison of educational programs. The survey focused on the relationship of children and less favourite animals was taken by 35 pupils. Dialogue with the pupils led to ascertainment of the children's relationship to staying in nature. Results of said surveys were compared with findings of Petra Juhasová. The results were then processed and compared in relation to environmental educational programs in preschools.
