Diplomová práce si klade za cíl prozkoumat zaznamenaný jev u některých současných rodičů: otevřenost v komunikaci s jejich malými dětmi je pro ně významnou hodnotou, avšak u několika témat váhají, zda je i v tomto případě vhodná, nebo ji nějakým způsobem modifikují. Na základě kvalitativního přístupu s využitím polostrukturovaných rozhovorů s rodiči předškolních dětí práce přináší konkrétní popis toho, jakým způsobem rodiče balancují svou otevřenost v komunikaci o sexu, Ježíškovi, smrti a válce, vztazích a emocích a také ve výchově. Následně představuje společné znaky tohoto balancování napříč jednotlivými komunikačními tématy, popisuje motivace, hranice a bariéry otevřenosti rodičů v komunikaci a ukazuje, jakou úlohu hraje prožívání rodiče a faktory na straně dítěte. Pojednává také o interpersonálním balancování s partnery, prarodiči a v kontextu společnosti. Based on a qualitative approach using semi-structured interviews with parents of preschool children, the work provides a concrete description of how parents balance their openness in communication about sex, Baby Jesus, death and war, relationships and emotions, as well as in parenting. Subsequently, it presents the common patterns of this balancing across communication topics, describes the motivations, boundaries and barriers to parents' openness in communication, and shows the role of the parent's experience and factors on the child's side. It also describes interpersonal balancing with partners, grandparents and in the context of society.
