Gifted students in basic school

The central theme of this work is the issue of gifted and exceptionally gifted pupils and their education in primary schools. The theoretical part of the work deals with terminology, models of giftedness, characteristic manifestations of gifted students, cognitive and non-intellectual features and a specific group of gifted children, which consists mainly of students with double exceptionality and underperformance. It also analyzes the educational and educational needs of the gifted, provides an overview of legislative documents related to it, and presents approaches recommended by experts that can be effectively applied to gifted students in compulsory school education. The aim of the research part is to analyze the experiences of pedagogues - educational advisors - with gifted pupils at primary schools in the Rychnov nad Kněžnou region, through self-constructed questionnaires, at the same time to analyze their attitudes, approaches and orientation in the issue, as well as how nomination and identification of these pupils takes place and how they are supported in their education. Well-thought-out cooperation between the teacher and the teacher's assistant not only leads to more efficient work, but is also very beneficial for students and the classroom climate. Already at the beginning of their cooperation, it is necessary to have clear nules, roles and competences set.. I focused my research on the cooperation of a teacher and a teacher's assistant, on the factors that influence the cooperation in everyday practice. The first part of the thesis contains a theoretical definition of this issue. It deals with the concepts of inclusion and inclusive education. It characterizes the position of a teacher and a teacher assistant within the teaching process and its legislative anchoring. The empirical part of the work is devoted to the research of mutual satisfaction of cooperation between respondents. A teacher and a teacher's assistant from a small school participate in the research, followed by teachersmand teaching assistans from several schools in the surrouding area.. Changes in Institution in Individual Integration of a Child with Autism Spectrum Disorders into Common Preschool.

The bachelor thesis deals with changes in an institution while individually integrating a child with autism spectrum disorders (ASD) into a mainstream preschool. The thesis is divided into a theoretical and practical part. The theoretical part is divided into three sections. The first section describes the definition of the autism spectrum disorders, etiology, a triad of problematic areas, unspecific variable features, description of selected disorders and diagnosis. The second section defines the terms of integration and inclusion. The third section deals with possibilities of educating children with autism spectrum disorders, preschool education and selected supporting measures. By means of qualitative research, specifically a case study, the aim of the practical part is to observe and describe specific phenomena occurring while individually integrating a child with autism spectrum disorders into a mainstream preschool. For qualitative data collection, techniques of participant observation, document analysis, and semi-structured interviews were applied. The aim of the thesis is to respond to the research questions and to achieve the set goal. The bachelor thesis can be used as inspirational material for preschools meeting individual integration of a child with ASD for the first time.
The education of pupils with Down sydrome in the main educational flow

This bachelor thesis is focusing on inclusive education of pupils with Down syndrome in the main current of primary schools. Inclusive education is a topic often discussed in society and yet not understood by some people. Therefore, I decided to get and evaluate data of inclusive education for pupils with special educational needs. The bachelor thesis is divided into four chapters. First three chapters are theoretical and the last one is practical. The first chapter defines specifics and options of educating students with Down syndrome in a regular primary schools. The second chapter describes inclusive education and legislation of Czech school system. This chapter also describes support measures, which includes, for example, a teaching assistants and an individual educational plans. The third chapter defines and describes distance education at primary schools. This chapter was created in response to the Covid-19 pandemic, which suddenly closed all schools in the Czech Republic, so it was necessary to move from a full-time form of education to a distance form. The fourth chapter is practical and is focusing on the inclusive education of two selected girls with Down syndrome. The main purpose of the research was to find out how is the education of students with Down syndrome done in the main currrent of education in the regular primary schools. The investigation was made by using a qualitative research method with the interview technique, also there was used the method of observation. Here were chosen semi-structured interviews with teachers, assistant of students with Down syndrome and their legal representatives.
Education students with autistic spectrum in upper primary school.

This diploma thesis deals with the issue of education of pupils with autism disorders at selectedy elementary school. The diploma thesis is divided into two parts. The first part is the theoretical part in which you can find the problems of autistic spectrum disorders, their history, division and diagnostics are processed on the basis of professional literature. There is also an inclusive education of the pupil. In the practical part was also the research study was carried to find out how pupils with autistic spectrum disorders at the primary school level are educated. The research survey and its objective were monitored using observation, interview and document analysis methods. Using these methods, the current state of education of these pupils at the second level of elementary schools was determined.
Educating children from a Children's Home

Dissertation is focused on the issue of institutional care in the Czech Republic. The main focus of this work are children's homes, education and socialization of children placed in this type of residential care. The aim of the theoretical part is to describe the characteristics of subjects of institutional care in the Czech Republic. Furthermore, to compare institutional care with selected countries and describe the child's socialization in the family and at school. A historical overview of institutional care in the Czech Republic is also described, and in conclusion the author deals with a specific description of the social inclusion of pupils with special educational needs in the teaching process at primary school. The empirical part reports on the research and its results obtained by qualitative methodology using case study design. The main goal of the research was to find out how children from a children's home are integrated into the teaching process at primary school. Furthermore, the author set several partial goals. Perception of learning disabilities from middle school student's point of view

Bachelor's work is dealing with issues of specific learning disabilities from student's point of view. In the work are describing basic concepts of this issues, methods of working with children be suffering from learning disabilities. Then there are acquaint consulting workplaces, individual educational plans and the approach to marking of students with learning disabilities. The work is concentrating on social aspects of students with learning disabilities. The field part makes survey between the students of seventh class research basic knowledge, classmate's approach to pupils with learning disability and the strategy of coping issues by children with learning disability.

PaedDr. Vanda Hájková, Ph.D. Abstract This paper attends to the issues concerning children with physical and combined disabilities, and the possibilities for their education. It briefly summarizes the issues of physical and combined disabilities, and explains the difficulties that these children might experience during the course of their education and that should be anticipated during the education process. The second part of this paper enlightens the forms of primary education available for these children. Furthermore, it describes the general and academic educational programmes that primary schools follow today. Within the framework of special education, the institution Jedlička Institute in Prague (JÚŠ) is briefly introduced. In conclusion, this paper presents research conducted on and mapping the progress of students of JÚŠ special primary school and records from the documentation of these children.
