Through the papers and canvas I tell the story of everyday addiction that surrounds us. I start from my personal feelings and suck the atmosphere of the city and places from the edge of society. This theme is presented in the form of abstract drawings and paintings, in which certain phases and processes are displayed. I capture chaos in new forms so that the image, even within the technologically advanced and in all directions of the expanding visual culture, does not lose the liveliness, sense and critical justification for its further existence. The paintings and drawings are a visit to the world of people who are not the majority of the world and are all in a way lonely and lonely in their own way.

The Basis of the Successful Team Motivation

This work describes finding which motivational factors influence higher working performance in the company T-Mobile Czech Republic a.s. I was interested in the reasons whitch result in poor working motivation and how is possible this situation make better. I realized a questionnaire interview. My conclusion is that financial motivation in this company is sufficient but desire for powerful leade isn't.

Critique of the United States in the Work of West German Intellectuals in the Post-War Period

This thesis examines postwar criticism of the United States in the writings of four West German intellectuals: Hans Werner Richter, Karl Barth, Ernst von Salomon, and Leo L. Matthias. It views their reflection in the context of the concept of the "third way," the search for an alternative solution to Germany's political and economic heading after World War II, which included a reflection on the United States. The thesis highlights the fact that despite the positive attitude of the political leadership towards the United States, especially in the Westbindung policy of German Chancellor Konrad Adenauer, a critical attitude towards the United States can be observed in intellectual circles, both among left and right-wing individuals. The aim of this paper is to identify the extent of this critical debate. Thus, using the methods of intellectual history, the central themes that selected intellectuals have addressed in their critique are successively identified. The thesis is divided into five chapters. The first four discuss the relationship of each intellectual to the United States in the period 1945-1955. The fifth chapter summarizes the main findings and compares the differences and similarities in the approaches of the intellectuals examined.

Narrative structures in Indiana Jones film series

The diploma thesis focuses on identifying narrative structures which can be observed throughout the Indiana Jones film series from the first episode (1981) to the fourth episode (2008). It analyses the film reviews and focuses on the way in which their authors have reflected the narrative structures. The thesis also aims on the analysis of the relationship between the positive or negative nature of the reviews and the overall success of each of the films of the series. Beyond that, the thesis deals with the presence of the myths in the film series Indiana Jones and evaluates to what extent it is being reflected in each of the reviews and in the reception of the audience. The qualitative content analysis of the reviews published in journals that specialise in the coverage of film news has proven the existence of a specific narrative structure that is present throughout the Indiana Jones film series. The analysis and subsequent comparison of the reviews has shown that the film critique consensually agrees that the specific narrative structure was respect in each of the films of the series. The analysis of the reviews has also proven the existence of a direct relationship between the nature of the reviews and the overall success of the films of the series.

Between Critique and Inner Emigration: Ernst Wiechert in the Third Reich

Based on a narrative structure and historical context of literary works and other articles of the author, this thesis is supposed to answer a question how Ernst Wiechert's work reflects his personal and authorship development and above all his attitude to the Nazism regime. It shows in which points his early production is similar to ideologeme of German national socialism and how the author distances from them later. The thesis describes the character of his regime critics in political and moral polarity as well as the reason for the author's inside transformation from critics to Inner Emigration.

Does Popper's critique of Plato stand up against other interpretations?

The main goal of this thesis is to answer following question: Does Popper's critique of Plato stand up against other interpretations? This question is answered by author that he clarifies Popper's assumptions, and then he compares it with Plato's primary texts as well as with secondary sources of other interpreters (Gadamer, Reale, Graeser, Patočka, and Strauss). To answer the main question the author proceeds with this method: In the first chapter he focuses on the context of Popper's evaluation of Plato and clarifies the difference between terms of the open and closed society. He uses moments of Popper's life too. In the second chapter author clarifies Plato's political philosophy on the basis of analysis Leges a Respublica, which are texts that formulates the main ideas of Plato's philosophy and are the main source of Popper's criticism. In the third chapter author presents an explanation of Popper's criticism from the first volume of Open society and its enemies, while he mostly focuses on Popper's formulation of "law of revolution", which is based on assumption of validity of historicism in Plato's explanation of society development and an accusation of Plato's racism. The Arab-Israeli peace diplomacy of Henry Kissinger and its reflection through the eyes of his critics

Henry Kissinger is considered to be one of the most influential diplomats of U.S. history. He proved his uniqueness among other things during peace diplomacy in the Middle East in the administration of Presidents Nixon and Ford. His power extended far beyond the usual competence of the Secretary of State. The work aims to investigate his role in the Arab-Israeli conflict and to identify the relationship to the parties concerned. In contrast are given personal interests of Henry Kissinger, the United States and the individual members of the Middle East conflict. Considerable attention is paid to American foreign policy towards the Soviet Union and the role of participants in the regional conflict in the Cold War strategy of the United States. His memoirs, which represent a comprehensive approach to U.S. Mideast issues in this period compared in the course of the work with the equally important views of both sides of the conflict. Through the comparison with the critical perspectives of key actors of the conflict are analyzed facts for which his Middle East diplomacy emerged. Transcripts of telephone calls, cables, personal interviews and correspondence of Henry Kissinger are also used for the collotion. The work is complemented by personal reflection of the issue on the basis of selected materials.
