Its objective is to answer three questions: Was the artist the mystic he was perceived to be at the time? Can he be termed a modernist? Another method used is an analysis and comparison of the approach and attitudes of Czech society to the artist during his life. Lonský, Milan ; Jančák, Vít (advisor) ; Kučera, Zdeněk (referee)
The thesis deals with verification of ownership and size structure and specialization of individual farms in the protected landscape area České středohoří. In mountainous and remote areas, the structure of smaller (family) farms is generally predominant, focusing on livestock production rather than crop production. Right at the PLA and mountain areas we can expect different types of agricultural activity compared to other areas of the Czechia. The aim of this thesis is to verify this assumption on the natural conditions of the monitored area of the protected landscape area of České středohoří, where it can be assumed that the structure of individual enterprises will be rather a type of family farms and small enterprises. Cross-border aspects of torts in cyberspace
Kučera, Zdeněk
Cyberspace today represents an essential part of society. Its existence has launched a new phenomenon - "virtual reality" - in which similar interactions as in the real world occur. Since the effects of these virtual interactions affect all areas of human existence, as well as relationships in the real world, they must be subject to legal regulation. To be part of cyberspace, especially its most important part - the Internet, means the option to enter into legal relationships with entities regardless of their territorial restrictions. Therefore, these issues must be subject to special attention. In legal science, solutions of such cases fall under specific areas such as in matters relating to civil law into private international law. This dissertation thesis focuses primarily on exploring institutes of private international law within the virtual environment, particularly issues of jurisdiction and law applicable to torts that arise in cyberspace. The goal of this work is to answer the question of whether current standards of private international law are applicable in cyberspace - and what problems may arise in their practical applications. Emphasis is given to the standards applicable in the Czech Republic.

Polcrová, Anna ; Kučera, Zdeněk (advisor) ; Žejglicová, Kristýna (referee)
This diploma thesis deals with the topic of health literacy level in the Czech population and its association with sociodemographic and lifestyle factors. The aim was to describe this association in the stages of health information processing, which are the stages of finding, understanding, judging and application of health information. The data from the Czech modification of the HLS-EU survey from 2014 was used. Lower level of health literacy was associated with older age, lower level of education, as well as lower self-assessed social status at all stages of health information processing. Lower self- assessed health condition was also associated with lower level of health literacy, especially in the phases of understanding and application of health information. Regarding the lifestyle factors, the association was determined in case of physical activity, most notably in the phases of understanding and application of health information. The association was also determined in the case of body mass index, but only in phases understanding and judging. Differences in health literacy levels between smoking categories as well as between gender were not been determined. Regarding the difference between phases of health information processing, the judging of health information seems to be the most risk.
