Good concept at classical greek philosophy and literature

The matter of the Good in classical Greek philosophy and literature is so important and extensive that it can hardly be covered in one document. Therefore the aim of the first part of the thesis is to express both fundamental context and critical attitude towards the concept of the Good in the philosophy of Socrates, Plato and Aristotle. The second part provides a coherent perspective on the development of archaic literature in terms of forming the idea of gods, virtues, good and evil in classical Greek epic and tragedy. Theoretical basis of the thesis relies on the studies of important philosophers, literature historians, religionists and mythologists, whose views are connected systematically or outlined comparatively in corresponding chapters. Both main parts of the thesis are divided into chapters which follow in logical sequence. The thesis is theoretical and corresponds to the assigned topic.

Letterism - an academic avant-garde

Roku 1946 zakládá v Paříži Rumun Isidore Isou (vlastním jménem IoanIsidor Goldstein) avantgardní hnutí lettrismus. Přestože Isou, jenž byl po celou dobu jeho vůdčí osobností, před dvěma lety zemřel, hnutí se nerozpustilo a dál pokračuje ve své činnosti. I kdyby to tedy bylo jenom z titulu jeho jména a více než šedesátiletého nepřetržitého trvání, jak říká Mirella Bandini (2003: 7), můžeme mluvit o nejdéle působící avantgardní skupině po surrealismu. Tuto nominální velikost však rovněž podporuje svým rozsahem až nepřehledná produkce lettristů, a to jak konkrétně tvůrčí, tak i teoretická, která zahrnuje všechny umělecké oblasti a žánry, jako jsou literatura, hudba, výtvarná umění, film, divadlo atd., a jež významně a programově zasahuje do ostatních oborů lidského ducha: politiky, exaktních věd, ekonomie, logiky, filozofie, teologie i erotologie (nemluvě o typických průvodních jevech každé avantgardy, jako jsou skandály, veřejná vystoupení, manifesty, politický aktivismus). Přes tuto nezpochybnitelnou stopu, kterou lettrismus zanechal v novodobých dějinách evropské kultury, neexistuje doposud teoretická studie, která by celkově a kriticky popsala jeho vznik a vývoj, určila jeho specifika a zhodnotila jeho přínos na poli literatury a umění. Implementation of the European dimension into the curriculum of lower secondary schools

This work analyses how European Dimension is implemented into the education systems of the Czech Republic, Germany (with the focus on the Free State of Saxony) and Poland. By means of empirical research it focuses on the identification, analysis and comparison of pupils' understanding and attachment of/to Europe, and attitudes and knowledge of pupils towards/about their neighbours from the Euroregion Nisa. The work is structured into 4 chapters. First of all the context for European Dimension in education is introduced. Understandings of various meanings of Europe, the influence of European integrative processes and the rapid changes that have been initiated by globalisation are introduced. The second chapter analyses the rhetorical curriculum of the implementation of the ED on the European level. Further an analysis of the education systems of the Czech Republic, Germany (with focus on the Free State of Saxony) and Poland was carried out including the analysis of implementation of the ED into these education systems from 1989 up to 2009. In order to create a complex overview of implementation of ED into these 3 education systems, a comparison of the implementation of ED was done among these 3 states. Attitudes of secondary school students towards preventive school activities and programmes

The current development of health care places emphasis on improving the provision health care, improving and increasing its availability. In addition it is also one of the main trends of recent years, increased preventivemeasures and procedures whose main objective is to prevent the emergence of differentkinds of diseases. In this context of the standard uses the concept of a preventive program, which is defined as set of activities that lead to reduction or complete avoidance ofpathological phenomena and consequently to the emergence of various diseases. Prevention programs and activities aim, educate society to a better lifestyle, mastery of basic frameworks of behavior thatare important for healthy personality development in health, social and psychological areas. The most important period for the implementation of preventionand education as a field is preschool and school children and the youth. It is not only the time taken by children and youth spend in educational facilities, but also a young man andformovatelností his willingness to learn new things. Children and young people receive in school all the importantinformation for further development, therefore it is necessary and most effective teachingof basic knowledge to connect with teaching in the area of prevention.

The access to healthcare for asylum seekers in Italy: disparities between legislation and practice

Asylum seekers are a socially excluded migrant population, presenting specific healthcare needs, which are often not acknowledged, nor properly addressed by national and European laws. Hailing from areas with poor sanitary attention, exposed to violence during the journey, they arrive to Italy with a high health vulnerability. The aim of this thesis is to find the discrepancies between the legislation providing healthcare access to the asylum seekers, in compliance with the fundamental human rights, and the practical healthcare responses in the Italian context of the North African Emergency (2011-2013), relying on a systematic literature review. The emergency-driven responses to the asylum inflow resulted in a heterogeneous reception and healthcare assistance, as the Italian asylum legislation focuses more on asylum procedures than healthcare, which remains regionally fragmented too. Asylum seekers faced discrimination and barriers in accessing healthcare, mainly due to information, linguistic and bureaucratic difficulties. Therefore, NGOs and associations intervened locally to fill the gap left by the institutional response, with a better focus on the social determinants of health and the importance of social integration as well. After 2013, better reception conditions were formulated and the legislation revised. However, the difference between legislation and practice on the asylum seekers healthcare access constitutes a human rights violation still present nowadays. Clearer approaches should be developed to address the issue uniformly.

The Comparison of Sovereign Ratings and Country Risk Classification according to the Arrangement on Officially Supported Export Credits

In the first chapter the paper is focused on sovereign rating, it describes the history and explains the basic characteristics in the context of its usual usage. In the second chapter the basics behind the Arrangement on Officially Supported Export Credits are explained. Because the main purpose of this paper is to compare sovereign rating and the country risk classification based on the Arrangement, the chapter focuses especially on the Knaepen Package that introduced country risk classification to the Arrangement. In the third chapter are sovereign ratings and county risk classifications compared on theoretical basis. There were used several different criteria, e.g. methodology of rating/classifying, time necessary for adjustment and criteria for evaluation. The last chapter is based on the case study that describes the changes of rating grades and country risk classification on examples of Visegrád Four - the Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland and Slovakia.

Bachelor's thesis entitled "Sponsorship of the energy company RWE, focused on support of Czech cinematography" deals in its introductory theoretical part with sponsorship in general . This part is based on the main available literature dealing with the sponsorship. After brief presentation of the energy group RWE, with a focus on the Czech Republic, follows the core of the thesis - sponsorhip of the RWE. The thesis offers an overview of the major sponsorship projects and it focuses on the project RWE - Energy of Czech Film. The main objective of the thesis is to describe the project in a broader context, analyze it and submit potential recommendations for the future.

Analýza komunikace značky Harry Potter

Představovat Harryho Pottera je vcelku zbytečné, neboť v dnešní době snad už neexistuje nikdo, kdo by o něm ještě nikdy neslyšel. Zcela mimořádný úspěch značky Harry Potter je na jedné straně bezpochyby primárně zásluhou kvalitního výrobku. Na druhé straně nutno přiznat, že bez dobré komunikace by i tento zajímavý, a zajisté kvalitní literární produkt, mohl zůstat v mase dětské literatury zcela nepovšimnut. Kladu si tedy za cíl pokusit se zmapovat prostředky, jakými je tak úspěšná značka komunikována, určit faktory, které hrály zásadní význam na cestě k jejímu celosvětovému úspěchu a následně odpovědět na otázku, zda je možné úspěch značky zopakovat, a pokud ano, tak za jakých předpokladů.Teoretickou část své práce uvádím charakteristikou přitažlivého příběhu, který stál na začátku. Dále popisuji narůstající úspěch jeho knižní podoby, a následně i jeho filmového zpracování. Obecnou definicí značky a komunikačních prostředků obracím pozornost na vznik značky Harry Potter a na prostředky (média), jimiž jsou komunikovány její dvě hlavní složky, knihy a filmy. Ostatní složky, jako hračky, oblečení, videohry, zábavní park aj., opomíjím, neboť jsou složkami okrajovými, ze značky profitujícími. V praktické části své práce se pokusím analyzovat jednotlivé komunikační prostředky používané při propagaci značky Harry Potter ve světě, především ve Velké Británii a Spojených státech, zemích z hlediska komunikační strategie značky určujících, s přihlédnutím ke komunikaci v České republice. Jelikož komunikace obou hlavních složek značky, knih a filmů, probíhá striktně odděleně, analyzuji použití jednotlivých komunikačních prostředků zvlášť u knih a zvlášť u filmů.

Obstetrics and its Influence on the Attitudes of Society in the Czech Republic and Great Britain

Na základě poznatků ze studia literatury bylo poukázáno na skutečnost, že porod je významným činitelem v životě ženy a rodiny a v čase i prostoru je možno nalézt odlišné koncepce vedení porodu. Hlavním tématem diplomové práce se stal rozpor mezi lékařským vedením zdravého porodu a mezi koncepcí "přirozeného" porodnictví. V teoreticko - kritické analýze práce byla vysvětlena komplexnost porodního procesu a uvedeny faktory, které ovlivňují postoje i reálnou praxi všech zúčastněných zdravotníků. Dva odlišné modely vedení porodu byly konkretizovány na příkladu Velké Británie a České republiky; byly představeny možnosti a principy porodnické péče v obou zemích a srovnání těchto systému bylo doplněno statistickými údaji. Nebyl opomenut ani trend prosazování "přirozených" porodů na půdě českých porodnic, který postupně, avšak nikoliv homogenně zavádí aspekty matce a dítěti přátelské filosofie porodnictví v české společnosti. Romani revenant - mulo as a dogma. Methodology possibilities and pitfalls in the research on romani tradition

Práce se tematicky zaměřuje na studium víry v duše zemřelých u Romů. Hlavními primárními daty jsou doposud publikované články a studie k tomuto tématu a rozhovory pořízené v rámci dlouhodobého terénního výzkumu. Teoreticky se práce zabývá důsledky uplatnění konkrétních metodologických přístupů na pojetí tradice na příkladu víry v muly - romské revenanty. K tomuto zpracování slouží teoreticky zaměřená sekundární pramenná literatura. V kapitolách 2. a 3. uvádíme metodologické přístupy a způsoby konceptualizace v etnografii a folkloristice a v kapitole 4. pak rozebíráme jejich užití a možnosti uplatnění v rámci romisticky zaměřených prací. Tato část práce tak zároveň slouží jako vymezení pole pro druhou část práce, ve které se věnujeme dalším pojetí tradice a kultury. Ve 2. kapitole podáváme krátký exkurz týkající se metodologického vytyčení etnografie a folkloristiky v českém kontextu. Přibližujeme zde základní koncepční předpoklady pro definování tradice a kultury v těchto disciplínách. V podkapitole 2.3. se zmiňujeme o možných úskalích v pojetích národnostně zaměřených oborů. V následující, 3. kapitole, analyzujeme výběr z dosavadní publikované literatury týkající se zvoleného tématu. Zvláštní pozornost věnujeme studiím o obyčejích a slovesné lidové tvorbě.
