Database Schema Version Control
Hudec, Branislav ; Skopal, Tomáš (referee) ; Kopecký, Michal (advisor)
The main goal of this diploma thesis is to design and implement an application that would be capable of searching for differences between two database schemas. There are many uses for such tool, but there is one that is the most common. Two database schemas are created with the same SQL script, so they are equal at the beginning. A user can later add or modify database objects in one of the schemas, so the schemas may not be equal anymore. The implemented tool can find the differences between the schemas and present the results to the user in various formats (diff tree in GUI, XML, and text). The most valuable form of output is undoubtedly an SQL script. The purpose of the SQL script is the synchronization of the two schemas. The user can execute such script in a database containing the second schema, and the second schema will be modified according to the first schema.

Rediscovery of Darwin
Poklopová, Linda ; Smrž, Jaroslav (referee) ; Frouz, Jan (advisor)
This bachelor thesis focuses on Charles Darwin's The Formation of Vegetable Mould through the Action of Worms, with Observations on their Habits and its impact on contemporary science. Descriptive parts and sections about morphology have been frequently mentioned in the literature, however, most often as a historical curiosity. Major immediate impact and lasting interest was sparked by thoughts about the behavior of earthworms. Ideas about mixing of soil by worms instigated the publication of scholarly papers analyzing the distribution of earthworms and the importance of soil mixing for archaeology. Ideas related to the impact of mixing on soil formation and its fertility received much less attention. Hypotheses about the impact of bioturbation on landscape level were largely ignored, only to be rediscovered and further explored at the end of the last century and the beginning of the current one.

The aim of this study is to determine the most frequent mistakes at practice of the high-jump in the school physical training. My work try to help with mistakes elimination via demonstration. This study should serve as a help for beginning teachers at the high-jump practice. I will identify the most frequent mistakes at the high-jump practice by the continuous testing of the chozen group of students from the primary school, concretely at the "flop" style. Based on this test I'll put together the most frequent mistakes chart and I'll try to contribute to their elimination by the special training. I'll use kinograms in the process of corrective training for better clearness. The result of this study shows that the better technique of the students high-jump is, the better achievement has been reached. I focused only on general and explicit mistakes at the formation of the mistake chart. But in fact there are many more mistakes done by the jumper. From results of my testing I can say that the older student is, the maximum jump high is. But, what I mainly observed and what had proved was, that the older students are, the less mistakes they did. That is the mark of the teachers correct approach and the right syllabus performance, where the athletics takes no small interest.

Břečková, Veronika ; Pohorský, Aleš (advisor) ; Hrbata, Zdeněk (referee) ; Voldřichová - Beránková, Eva (referee)
This dissertation contributes to the studies of Francophone literatures in Czech universities by presenting Swiss French written literature, called "Romand literature" in Switzerland, and explaining the role that Swiss publishers played in the formation of literary life in the second half of the 20th century, precisely from the end of the Second World War to the beginning of the 1980s. The term "Romand literature" is explained in connection with the conception and evolution of other Francophone literatures and their particular emancipation efforts in the 20th century. The answer to the question of what the identity of Romand literature is and how this literature might be defined is found in the process of institutionalization of Romand literature, and here the institution of the publisher is at the center of interest. Other literary institutions - in the sociologic notion of social structures and relations having a relative authority in the defined space and time - such as Romand literary reviews, literary critics and history, universities, and literary awards are presented in relation to the notion of Romand literature and to the institution of a publisher. The dissertation takes into consideration the main events in the evolution of literary institutions in the first half of the 20th century. The...
