Analysis of promotion of travel agency

Bachelor thesis is dedicated to the promotion of the travel agency Fischer. First, the basic terms are specified. The term "tourism" is defined, then the difference between travel agency and travel agent is specified. The term "marketing" is also discussed in the bachelor thesis. The next chapter belongs to the practical part of this thesis. The profile of travel agency Fischer, its development and services offered are described. The last chapter is devoted to the analysis of promotion, all the promotional methods are defined and the last part of this chapter includes the summary and the evaluation.

Implementation ALM – JIRA a Testlink in LMC, s.r.o.

The goal of this thesis is to describe the Application lifecycle management (ALM), with a focus on two aspects of this system. The aspects are: the application for the administration of requirements JIRA and the application for the administration of the testing system Testlink. The basis for this endeavor was my practical experience with the implementation of the process ALM in the company LMC. Application lifecycle management is an essential part of companies focused on management processes for software development and it can thus improve their features, from the defining stage to the installation in the production sphere. In my thesis I focus on the application JIRA, as a replacement tool for the administration of requirements and the application Testlink, which is software for the administration and test management. The result aims to conclude whether these applications fulfilled the initial representations of the company and the requirements in the ALM framework. An evaluation of the positive and negative aspects during implementation is being carried, with a look at the effective implementation into practice. I shall try to define the general areas where eventual failures can be detected during the implementation process and that should be carried in mind during the process.

The crime of poachery in Czech provincial law

Name of the diploma paper: Tort of poaching in Bohemian municipal law Summary: This diploma paper attend to emergence of legal regulation of the tort of poaching in Bohemian lands. Is focusing principally on regulation in modern history, especially since Second World War. Solid description go down to half of 18th century. Explication start with contemporary legal regulation and continue since origin of Bohemian state to former times. In first chapter are principally defined basic terms and in detail analyse legal institute res nullius in relation to wildlife and fish. After that follows analysis contemporary legal regulation of the tort of poaching in penal, administrative and civil law. It also attend to generaly law policy and some institutes. Second chapter contain emergence of tort of poaching since origin of Bohemian state to half of 18th century. Third chapter is devote to law-making of monarchs Marie Terezie nad Josef II. Fourth chapter treat about long period since half of 19th century to half of 20th century. In these times were valid laws from half of 19th century with small changes in next century. Deliberate self-harm in adolescence within the context of family system

Main aim of this diploma thesis is to summarize mostly foreign findings concerning deliberate self-harm in adolescence with emphasis on family context. Theoretical part deals with definition, prevalence, functions, course, risk factors and possibilities of prevention and therapy of self-harm. There are also mentioned findings about family system and its possible influence on personality. The research question of empirical part is interested in traits of those families, where adolescent self-harm. Family context is shown both on case studies and on summary based on families of 20 adolescents. These results are in accordance with previous research and also suggest some new characteristics for next verification. Characteristics concerning discordant family relationships (both between parents and between one parent and adolescent) seem to be most important. Majority of respondents feel like their parents are not interested in them at all and are too critical. Almost half of them said that they tried to draw their attention by engaging in risk behavior (including self-harm). There was also high incidence of self-destructive behavior in parents of these adolescents.

Goodwill in mergers

The diploma thesis is focused on goodwill, which can occur during mergers of companies in the Czech Republic. The beginning of the theoretical part is devoted to the definition of the term goodwill, summary of the history of that accounting item and explanation of the types of business transformations. It is followed by comprehensive description of recognition and reporting of goodwill and valuation difference on acquired assets in accounting during domestic mergers. The thesis is supplemented by references to specific statutory regulations relating to the manner and timing of the recognition of these items. The whole thesis is focused exclusively on mergers in the Czech Republic. The application part contains information about research and analysis of selected domestic mergers realized in years 2012 and 2013. The most important conclusion of the analysis is that goodwill occurs very rarely during mergers in the Czech Republic.

International and national aspects of double taxation

This master's thesis aims to describe legislation of international and national double taxation. Furthermore, this paper deals with the term tax and puts down following questions: what does a tax represent; what is the subject of a tax; who is a resident and who is a non-resident. At the same time the master's thesis focuses on the history of international double taxation, consequences of double taxation and last but not least on the tax avoidance. The master's thesis is comprised of three chapters that are divided into more detailed subchapters. The first chapter deals with a tax as such in the Czech legal system and primarily deals with a tax as the most important source of financing of state budgets because the whole public sector is funded by taxes. Furthermore, it introduces to the issue of double taxation as a negative economic phenomenon for taxpayers and to the methods of the state intervention into a removal of double taxation whether national or international. European information society at the beginning of the third millenium

Cílem práce je vytvoření uceleného přehledu o evropské informační společnosti, o aktivitách Evropské unie týkajících se budování evropské informační společnosti a o oblastech, jež jsou těmito aktivitami ovlivněny. V počátku práce je stručně zmíněna samotná Evropská unie, shrnuty základní údaje o Evropské unii, připomenuty významné mezníky v její historii, základní principy fungování EU a její nejdůležitější orgány. Následují kapitoly nastiňující obecně problematiku informační společnosti a její definování, zmíněn je vývoj informační společnosti ve světě, historie informační společnosti v EU i aktuálně platný program i2010. Jádro práce spočívá v kapitole pojednávající o oblastech tvorby evropské informační společnosti. Tato kapitola je rozdělena na šest základních podkapitol, tedy šest oblastí, a sice Práce a ekonomie, Kultura a společnost, Vzdělávání a školení, Výzkum a vývoj, Kvalita života a Komunikační průmysl. V závěru je vyjádřeno zamyšlení nad současným stavem informační společnosti v Evropě.

The economic analysis of the company EYELEVEL s.r.o.

The master thesis deals with the economic analysis of the company EYELEVEL s.r.o. The aim of the thesis is to evaluate economic situation of the company, to identify threats and opportunities that arise from its surrounding. On the basis of the conclusion strengths and weaknesses of the company are formulated with the recommendation in order to improve their current situation. The thesis is split into two parts, theoretical one and practical one. The theoretical part defines theoretical and methodological starting points. The principles and basic terms of the particular methods of financial analysis and the strategic analysis of the company´s surrounding were mentioned there as well. The company EYELEVEL s.r.o is for the first time introduced in the practical part. Then PEST analysis, PORTER analysis and financial analysis, the main concern of the thesis, are followed. All the results are summarize in the conclusion.

Financial Consultancy

This Master's work is focused on financial consultancy. The work is split into two parts, theory and practice. In the theoretical part the concepts of financial market, entity on the financial market, financial consultancy, mediation activity, insurance, code of ethics and the ten consumer points are defined. The practical part of the thesis is based on research conducted using a questionnaire survey. In the practical part research questions and hypotheses are first formulated. The paper further describes the research methodology and research results evaluated on the basis of respondents' answers. The aim of the research is to confirm or refute the hypotheses. The conclusion summarizes the results of the research.
