Soukup, Ladislav ; Tyšler, Milan (referee) ; Vrba, Jan (referee) ; Vondra, Vlastimil (advisor)
This thesis deals with the methodology of use of whole-body impedance cardiography for evaluation of pulse wave velocity. The first three chapters explain selected hemodynamic properties of the arterial system related to the issue of pulse wave propagation. At the same time the ordinary methods for estimation, its disadvantages and merits has been summarized. Points at issue of whole-body impedance evaluation methodology for pulse wave velocity are researched in second part of this thesis. In order that analysis the procedure for correct methodology has been determined. Particularly determination of reference proximal point for calculation of transit time towards aortic valve, and design and accuracy of transit distance measurement were discussed. Based on the obtained data, a calculation of representative pulse wave velocity to eight limb locations was performed.
Processing of a continual blood pressure signal
Svobodová, Ivana ; Soukup, Ladislav (referee) ; Vondra, Vlastimil (advisor)
Bachelor thesis contains a general description of the blood pressure phenomenon and its importance and also deals with diseases, such as hypotension and hypertension. The work also includes a literature review of blood pressure measuring methods. Closely are discussed the non-invasive methods. The result of the work is also a unique program designed in Matlab, which is developed for signal processing of continuous blood pressure measurement for detection of SBP and DBP and MAP, pulse after pulse. To verify the functionality of the program, the further implementation was carried out in GUI. In conclusion, the obtained data are beeing analyzed statistically.
Evaluation of cardiac output by bioimpedance method with patients with pacemaker
Soukup, Ladislav ; Cimbálník, Jan (referee) ; Vondra, Vlastimil (advisor)
This thesis deals with the possibility of using impedance cardiography for calculating cardiac output. Kubicek’s, Sramek‘s and Sramek-Bernstein‘s methods are discussed here. These methods were applied to a data set, obtained by measuring on subjects with implanted cardiostimulators. The subjects’ heart rate was being changed by the programing of cardiostimulators. Thanks to this procedure the measured data were not affected by artifacts, connected with the heart rate change caused by a body stress, or other influences. An influence of heart rate on a cardiac output value based on the statistical processing of the data set was studied.
Bioimpedance signal processing
Valíčková, Vladimíra ; Vondra, Vlastimil (referee) ; Soukup, Ladislav (advisor)
Theoretical part of this Bachelor thesis deals with properties measurement and use of bioim-pedance signal for medical diagnostics. The practical part deals with detection of important points in derivate bioimpedance signal that may be further used in various medical applicati-ons. This work compares three detection methods. The best results were achieved by a de-tection with fixed interval there were excluded only 1,09 % values. Very similar results had detector dependent on constant bioimpedance. Here was excreted 1.18 % of detections. Algo-rithms that are dependent on length of RR interval perform worse. Furthermore, there is cal-culated the Pulse wave velocity in six parts of the human body in a horizontal and tilt patient position. In the tilt position were the pulse wave velocity about 38.59 % faster than in hori-zontal.
Measuring system for recording and displaying LF magnetic field
Dušek, Jiří ; Soukup, Ladislav (referee) ; Vyroubal, Petr (advisor)
Diploma thesis describes types and measuring principes of magnetic field as first. Furthermore it deals with parameters of sensor HMC2003 and data acquision. Selected card for acquision was USB-6218 from company National Instruments. After that project describes programing interface LabVIEW, which was used for desing of acquision program. Next part deals with comuncation between card and computer, drivers and properties of card. After that were explained requirements on measuring interface. Furthermore it deals with basic parts of the acquision software and describes its function with connection to user interface. Finally the interface was tested.
Bioimpedance signal processing
Soukup, Ladislav ; Kolářová, Jana (referee) ; Provazník, Ivo (advisor)
The aim of this thesis is a study of impedance cardiography and its subsequent use in determining the cardiac output. The calculation in this work uses three default types of biological signals: the ECG signal to gallop and the impedance cardiography. There are identified the necessary parameters of the signals, especially heart rate, heart sounds (S1,S2) and the derivative impedance cardiography. This method of determining cardiac output is non-invasive and is easy to perform for doctor and patient, which is very important for risky patient especialy. Disadvantage is imprecision, that is eliminated by modifying the algorithm of the calculation. User interface for processing all the necessary signals and the subsequent calculation of cardiac output was implemented in MATLAB programming environment and is optimized for data measured and processed in the ISI ASCR.
Prosecution of property crimes in Czechoslovakia 1948-1990
Rohr, Karel ; Soukup, Ladislav (advisor) ; Šouša, Jiří (referee) ; Vojáček, Ladislav (referee)
This thesis examines the different criminal law protection of property according to dif- ferent types of ownership in Czechoslovakia between 1948 and 1989. At the same time, the object of interest was also a closer understanding of the judicial practice of punishing attacks against the type of property that enjoyed increased legal protection provided by the means of criminal law at that time. In that period, property in socialist ownership enjoyed greater legal protection than pri- vate and personal property. Private and personal property belonged to specific natural persons, as a rule, it originated mainly from their work activities, or inheritance, donation, etc., and served mostly to satisfy the personal, life and family needs of the owners. Property in socialist ownership was most often the property of state and cooperative organisations (agricultural and manufacturing), nationalised and national enterprises, trade union movements, etc. Virtu- ally all property that served the functioning of industry or was of importance from the point of view of the economy and national economy was socialist property. An important part of the research was a description of the development of the legal framework, which changed over time, most substantially in 1950 and 1961, according to two criminal laws,...
Development of criminal law in the Czech lands in the 18th century
Hübnerová Asadová, Zejneb ; Malý, Karel (advisor) ; Soukup, Ladislav (referee)
Development of criminal law in the Czech lands in the 18th century Resume My thesis deals with the criminal law of the 18th century in our country. The 18 century Enlightenment philosophy and criminal law beccarian revision created significant changes in criminal law. The thesis has six chapters plus an introduction and conclusion. The introduction explains the terminology used and the theoretical and philosophical bases of what the interpretation is based on, for example: the Enlightenment, criminal law, the influence of the Enlightenment on the transformation in the 18th century. Chapter One explains the development of criminal law until the 18th century. Chapter Two is broken down into 4 sections of analysis and then illustrates the applicable codes of the criminal law in the first half of the 18th century. Part One deals with the codification of the city Rights of 1579, designed by Paul Christian of Koldin. Part Two contains a brief description of the criminal law codification of the law of the noble - Renewal of the Earth's establishment in 1627. Part Three deals with the first attempt to unify criminal provisions, but mainly the procedural nature of the Constitutio Criminalis Josephine in 1707. Part Four contains an analysis of Maria Theresa in 1768, which was the culmination of the feudal concept of...
The Trial with K. H. Frank in front of the Extraordinary People's Court
Vozdek, Jakub ; Kuklík, Jan (advisor) ; Soukup, Ladislav (referee)
In my Master's thesis I described in detail the historical process of war criminal Karl Hermann Frank. He was a man who had been influencing the main events in the Czech lands for many years. I divided the thesis in ten chapters. The first chapter is devoted to the personality of K. H. Frank. I tried to briefly describe all the life's milestones of a man justly sentenced to death for his crimes against the Czechoslovak state. In the second and third chapter I focused on two men who played a very important role in the process and extradition of K. H. Frank, Kamill Resler and Bohuslav Ečer. In subsequent chapters I fully dealt with the process itself, from the very start through the daily courses of the trial to the verdict. In conclusion I summarized findings from the process and answer the question about the objectivity of proceedings against the accused.
