Roubalová, Kateřina ; Bitnar, Petr (advisor) ; Strapková, Zuzana (referee)
This thesis addreses the prohlems of medically unexplained physical symptoms of upper part of gastrointestinal tract from gastroenteorological, psychiatrical and physiotherapeutical perspective, and introduces psyclliatrical diagnostical unit "somatoform disorder". Next, it focuses on the interrelations between locomotor system, gastrointestinal system and psychical make-up in terms of the comprehensive approach to these disorders in physiotherapy. In the experimental part of this thesis psychological self-report questionnaire SCL-90 was used for screening of psychopathology of 19 outpatients with functional gastrointestinal disorder. From 15 retrieved questionnaires only 3 showed higher rates of general psychopathology. Further, patients underwent a physiotherapeutical examination to elicit eventual presence of so called visceral patterns and global disorders of locomotor system, which could affect their problems. These changes (both visceral patterns and global disorders of locomotor system) were found in the majority of cases. Powered by TCPDF (www.tcpdf.org)

Digitization of Old and Middle English dictionaries
Tichý, Ondřej ; Klégr, Aleš (referee) ; Čermák, Jan (advisor)
The aim of the paper is both to outline the methodology of digitizing Old and Middle English dictionaries as well as to describe its successful implementation. It is argued that the digitization of old dictionaries is generally desirable, because it increases accessibility of valuable resources, which may be the only way of presenting their data to a wider audience. The paper first briefly and comprehensively surveys the field of Old & Middle English lexicographical resources, comparing in greater detail the most promising candidates for digitization. Possible and desirable features of a digitized dictionary are then explored and on that basis An Anglo-Saxon Dictionary of J. Bosworth & T. N. Toller is chosen for the digitization project itself. All the phases of the digitization are then described: scanning, character recognition, hand-corrections, data preparation and application development. The current state of the Bosworth-Toller digitization project is explained and presented, while two major suggestions are made for its future development: the re-tagging of its data and the development of a morphological analyser of Old English.

Physiotherapy for children threatened by the developing CP in the 1 year of life
ŠPIKOVÁ, Alžběta
In my bachelor thesis I have dealt with the problematic therapy of children with cerebral palsy. The aim has been defined as a presentation of therapeutic methods used at children endangered by cerebral palsy in the first year of life and the determination of the time aspect of the therapy. In the theoretical part I have dealt with the topic of psychomotor development of a child and the facts related to coming down with cerebral palsy, that includes its definition, causes of development, types and diagnosis. Since the most widely used method in the Czech Republic for children with cerebral palsy is Vojta´s reflex locomotion, the aim of the research part was to present this method in more detail and to find out experience with its use. The respondents were represented by 28 parents of children afflicted by cerebral palsy, who are treated in special diagnostic Center. This part of the work is methodologically based on the principles of qualitative research. Inquiry method has been used, employing semi-structured interview. The answers to questions demonstrate that an early diagnosis of the disease and an immediate institution of treatment is the main necessary condition for reaching optimal outcomes of the treatment. According to the research, the efficiency of the treatment also depends on its frequency, the expert guidance of professional physiotherapists for parents, their comprehension and conviction that the therapy will be successful. The investigation further showed that parents of children with cerebral palsy tried other therapeutic methods than Vojta´s reflex locomotion, but for lack of cooperation of the child, negligible results of other therapies or poor availability of their parents completed the application. The research findings also showed that improvement, which in practice Vojta´s reflex locomotion in their children diagnosed with cerebral palsy occurs, the main reason for this therapeutic method remain and will continue to apply.

Determinants of Claims Satisfaction in Insolvency Proceedings in the Czech Republic
Pařízek, Petr ; Skuhrovec, Jiří (advisor) ; Luňáčková, Petra (referee)
This paper examines determinants of creditors' claims satisfaction in insolvency proceedings in the Czech Republic. To our knowledge, it is the first research to such extent in the Czech Republic covering this field. Combining microdata from Insolvency Register, Business Register, Ministry of Finance and other sources, we construct a unique dataset of more than 2,600 cases. We identify several basic determinants of satisfaction: a higher share of secured claims, real estate and cash in assets of a company, submission of financial statements into Business Register, selling the business as a whole within the proceedings, and entrepreneur cases. We find no such effect for the audit of financial statements or for the age of a company. Moreover, we search for other indicators that may result in the lower satisfaction of claims, out of which five are statistically significant: a homeless person in statutory body, registered office at a firm nest, being listed as unreliable VAT payer, a connection to persons that have multiple records in Insolvency Register and a substantial increase in depreciation in the period between the last two submitted financial statements. In contradiction to the bankruptcy prediction literature, we show that the financial data are unreliable for predicting the outcome of insolvency...
