Conception of educational relation in philosophy of education and psychoanalysis. Socratic model
Musil, Martin ; Kučera, Miloš (advisor) ; Klusák, Miroslav (referee)
The author's main focus of this study are the different forms of educational relationships as found in various types of literature. His general definitions and views on what kind of relationships teachers should have with their students are compared with the concept of educational relationship as perceived by the philosophy of education and psychoanalysis. The common element here is the condition of emotionally charged relationships between teachers and students, although opinions on what such a relationship should look like vary. Philosophy of education points out the antinomic character of education and highlights the term eros, which is perceived as the driving force of the educational process. Psychoanalysis focuses on the psychological aspects of educational relationship and warns of immediate intimate bonding of teacher and student. The work is based on analysis of academic and popular literature in which the educational relationship is further analysed, and on the Socratic educational relationship as defined in works of Plato, specifically the Symposion. keywords: educational relationshiop, philosophy of education, psychoanalysis, Socrates, Symposion
Ghost-free HDR video using FPGA
Musil, Martin ; Schmidt, Jan (referee) ; Chalmers, Alan (referee) ; Zemčík, Pavel (advisor)
Associations between red colour of hair and other morphological, physiological, and behavioral traits
Musil, Martin ; Flegr, Jaroslav (advisor) ; Fiala, Vojtěch (referee)
Hair and skin colour are one of the most visible external features that can be encountered in humans. Red hair colour is the least common colour. It is associated with fair skin, which is prone to ultraviolet radiation. This is captured by eumelanin, which is less common in redheads because they have more pheomelanin pigment. Because of this, red-haired people are in a higher risk of developing malignant melanoma. This risk is further increased by more freckles and nevi on the skin. The major gene behind red hair is MC1R. This gene forms a receptor that binds hormones that regulate pigment production. Red-haired people have a gene allele that is demonstrated by partial or complete loss of MC1R receptor function. According to some studies, red hair also affects how red-haired people feel pain and whether they need more anaesthetics to induce general anaesthesia. The practical part of this work consists of a survey which topics are covered in published studies that mention red hairs in their title or abstract. The survey was conducted on three search engine Web of science, Google scholar and PubMed. All databases contained the most articles that linked red hairs as a risk for malignant melanoma. Key words: redhair, phenotype, human, eumelanin, pheomelanin, pigmentation, melanoma
Spokojenost zákazníka na trhu s fitness službami
Musil, Martin
The diploma thesis has for objective to determine factors influencing customer satisfaction in selected fitness centers in South Moravia and to identify their typical customers. Then use ECSI index to quantify customer satisfaction and assess the relationship between the satisfaction and performance of these fitness centers. The diploma thesis is divided into two parts - literary research and practical part. Literary research focuses on the characteristics of the market for fitness services, consumer behavior and satisfaction measurements. The practical part includes an analysis of the current state of fitness centers, evaluation of data from the questionnaire survey, statistics, recommendations and discussion.
Object Detection Algorithms on Android Platform
Dlápal, Vojtěch ; Musil, Martin (referee) ; Musil, Petr (advisor)
Aim of this thesis is to analyze possibilities of object detection on Android platform, design demonstrative application, test it and evaluate results. Android platform, computer vision library OpenCV and object detection theory are being introduced. Application for comparison of face detection from OpenCV, Android API and custom detector using classifier was designed and implemented. Application was tested and the results were evaluated.
Soccer Team Information System
Vaško, Michal ; Musil, Martin (referee) ; Nosko, Svetozár (advisor)
The goal of this bachelor thesis is to create information system. Thesis is focused on users and their interaction with system. Manager of the team has rights to create injury, fine or trainings. Players are allowerd to join the trainings. System contains detail statistics about players and information about team positions in the league table. After match you are allowed to check team squad and the player's statistics from the match. PHP framework version 5.7 and MySQL database were used for the development of the system.
Společenstvo bentických organismů na dolním toku Ohře, Labe a jejich přítocích
MUSIL, Martin
The purpose of this work was to describe the current status of benthic communities on the main stream of Elbe River and Ohře River and their tributaries affected and non-affected by biological invasions - especially by round goby (Neogobius melanostomus) and spiny - cheek crayfish (Faxonius limosus). Sampling for this research took place from April 2018 to August 2018, while morphiologic survey of waterbodies was done in November 2017. Two tributaries of the Elbe River (Milešovský brook and Ploučnice River) and one tributary of the Ohře River (Čepel) were selected for this research. Two 100 m long sections (lower stretch potentially affected by invaders and upper stretch as referential) were monitored at each tributary. At the same time a 100 m long main flow section was monitored near the mouth of the tributaries. The following parameters were monitored: morphology of the stream and basic physical and chemical parameters of water, zoobenthos community, crayfish occurrence, and fish community. The benthic communities of the upper streams were less affected by biological invasions. The biodiversity of the benthic communities in the upper sections was richer compared to the lower sections. The occurrence of the round goby seemed to be factor affecting benthic and fish communities at the sites concerned. It was an eudominant species in the Elbe section in Děčín and becoming dominant in the lower section of Ploučnice River.
HDR Image Acquisition on Mobile Devices
Mik, Filip ; Musil, Martin (referee) ; Nosko, Svetozár (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with aquisition of high dynamic range images. The resulting HDR image is created by processing of LDR image sequence - by merging and then tone mapping. This thesis includes description of all issues related to the process of acquisition and displaying HDR image. Whole process is then implemented in form of Android application.
System with RC Model Servos
Kutěj, Jaromír ; Nosko, Svetozár (referee) ; Musil, Martin (advisor)
This thesis addresses the design of a movable RC model with a use of servo motors. It describes both the analysis of suitable hardware and a realization of the project with an emphasis on microcomputer controlled devices and technologies communication technologies with said devices. Furthermore, an interaction a interfacing with user is discussed. Based on findings a system is then implemented in form of a model of a car built atop of microcomputer, controlled wirelessly using a mobile application. This system is then enhanced by proximity sensors that prevent collisions by halting movement of the car.
HDR Image Acquisition and Tone-Mapping
Guniš, Erik Anton ; Musil, Martin (referee) ; Nosko, Svetozár (advisor)
Bachelor thesis deals with HDR image acquisition. Describes and solves implementation of acquisition of low dynamic range images and creating of high dynamic range image. It also deals with problem of displaying high dynamic range image. This issue is solved by tone-mapping.
