Ackerman, Lukáš ; Jelínek, Emil (advisor) ; Faryad, Shah Wali (referee) ; Becker, Harry (referee)
The purpose ofthis dissertation is geochemical study ofupper mantle rocks at two sites from diÍlěrent geological settings of the Bohemian Massif (Czech Repub|ic) - Koziíkov and Homí Bory. The first part of dissertation represents a review of petrological and geochemical studies of upper mantle Íocks found in the Bohemian Massi{ which have been pub|ished or presented so far' These include information about ýpe and occuÍTences of mantle{erived rock with individual Bohemian Massif units and summarized present state of knowledge on depletion and metasomatism ofthese rocks. The principal questions related to the mantle beneath the Bohemian Massif which remďn opened are presented at the end of this part. The most important paÍt of the dissertation represents three comprehensive papers on geochemical studies of upper mant|e rocks from Koziíkov and Horní Bory. In the second part, a geochemical study of major elements, trace elements, and Sr-Nd isotopes combined with mineral chemistry of upper mantle xenoliths from the Koziíkov volcano have been presented. This unique suite of xenoliths samples upper 2/3 of the upper mantle in this region and, therefore' provides a great possibility to study uppeÍ mantle composition variations with depth. The results show that upper mantle beneath Koziíkov volcano underwent...

This paper is focused on a rookie entrepreneur who is starting a middle size business in the express package delivery business. The main hypothesis is the viability of the undertaking in market conditions. This hypothesis is being reinforced by the calculations in the estimated financial plan as well as the marketing research that concludes that for this kind of business there is still enough space left. But it has to be a cheap and quality business. The values of the return on assets and return on equity are examined in the reference to the risk-free interest rate and thanks to that we can identify how big the risk-bonus is for the investor. In conclusion of the paper gives the author a solution how to even improve the ROA and ROE, the net profit and cash flow. Thanks to that the risk-bonus of the undertaking is even higher.

Příbram and its Surrounding Areas as a Goal for Geological Hikes
Roubal, Jan ; Teodoridis, Vasilis (advisor) ; Vacek, František (referee)
The title of my graduation thesis is Příbram as a destination of geologie walks. Altogether, it surveys five geologically interesting areas. It's main contribution is that it can be used as a material of which work projects for students can be made. The purpose of these work projects is to activate the students who take geologic excursions. Further, my thesis contains a manual for teachers. This manual is concerned with specific areas and it consits of both teoretical and practical information. The manual is based on simple instructions that can help teachers to orientate quickly in each area's specific questions. Powered by TCPDF (www.tcpdf.org)

Health-related and psycho-social aspects of physical education in schools

Treatment of personal status in jurisdictions of selected Arab states
Kopecký, Robert ; Kropáček, Luboš (advisor) ; Veselý, Rudolf (referee) ; Pauknerová, Monika (referee)
In my dissertation thesis I tried to explicate the fundamental institutes of Islamic family law, according to modern and contemporary legislation in a number of Arab states. The family law is fairly exhaustively treated in the sacred book of Muslims, in Koran, albeit in a number of scattered passages, mostly in suras from Medinese period. These passages are defined with more precision by the prestigeous method of the interpretation of Koran, with so called taj<;ir and thanks to collected statements of the Prophet Muhammad and his companions, constituting the tradition, so called swma. And the modern and contemporary legislation is based rigid on it with some westernized elements. After a brief acquaintance comprehension of the personal statute in contemporary Near Eastern countries is described in detail. The next chapter contains the description of the sense of marriage in Islamic law in three aspects- legal, social and religious. It is a contract of civil law concluded by the bridegroom with the legal guardian of the bride, so called wali. After this I continue through the short characterization of conditions of the conclusion of the marriage, for example form and capacity, limitations to marry any person of the opposite sex, special time period cidda ... The following part of thesis describes dissolution...

An interpretation of the Apostolic Creed in terms of the Christian Fellowship's belief
Wagner, Petr ; Vogel, Jiří (advisor) ; Kučera, Zdeněk (referee)
Křesťanská společenství (Christian Fellowship) is an integral part of the Czech pentecostal movement, or more precisely of its charismatic part for almost 17 years. Founded shortly after the fall of communism by Dan Drápal, formerly vicar of the Evangelical church of Czech Brethren, Christian fellowship wasn't originally meant to become a church. Drápal started his ministry in a small congregation in 1977 in Prague as a liberal oriented Christian, but after two years he was born again and than baptized in Holy Spirit. The congregation experienced an incredibly quick growth through the late 80s, which first led to problems with the communist Secret police and than to discussions with the Evangelical church of Czech Brethren itself concerning different ways of understanding. The separation came later, in 1990.

Techniques of teaching general English vocabulary at secondary school level
Nohlová, Kateřina ; Nováková, Soňa (referee) ; Mothejzíková, Jarmila (advisor)
The starting point of this thesis is the author's personal experience with English education at Czech secondary schools. Its task is to point out several concrete problems of this area, especially ln the domain of vocabulary teaching. The paper does not alm at providing its readers with universal solutions of the problematic issues. Our purpose is rather to put emphasis on the wide range of possibilities of approaching the situation. Since one of our tenets was to cover the real current conditions, we decided not to formulate many initial assumptions. Instead of doing that we reI ied fully on the results of our research as a basis for further considerations. The problems of English (vocabulary) teaching have been observed at two distinct Czech grammar schools resulting in two main types of their possible causes. First of them is undoubtedly recent rush social development. Numerous changes in Czech society have been connected first with the Velvet Revolution in 1989, later with the growing influence of the European Union. Out of these shifts, the opportunity of personal contact with English speaking countries is the most significant. Further, Czech learners can profit from easier access to current foreign educational materials, TV and radio programs in English and original English literary and music...
