Tato práce je zaměřena na začínajícího podnikatele, který vytváří středně velký podnik v oboru expresního doručování balíků. V teoretické části práce nabízí otázky, nad kterými by se měl začínající podnikatel zamyslet. Zejména jde o jakýsi návod, jak sestavit úspěšný podnikatelský plán, který osloví věřitele a další zainteresované osoby. Jak správně prezentovat své myšlenky a čemu je vhodné se vyhnout při fázi startu podniku. V praktické části pak autor ověřuje pracovní hypotézy, sestavuje zakladatelský rozpočet, očekávaný výkaz zisků a ztrát v prvním roce fungování podniku a také hodnotu cash flow. Hlavní hypotézou je vůbec vlastní životaschopnost podniku v podmínkách trhu. Tuto hypotézu potvrzují výpočty v odhadovaném finančním plánu, stejně tak i marketingový výzkum naznačující že na trhu těchto služeb je ještě dost prostoru pro novou firmu. Pro firmu levnou a zároveň kvalitní. Hodnoty ukazatelů rentability jsou zkoumány ve vztahu s bezrizikovou úrokovou měrou a díky tomu zjišťujeme, jakou prémii za riziko investoři získají. V závěru práce autor práce navíc předkládá řešení, jak je možné ukazatele rentability, hospodářský výsledek a cash flow ještě zlepšit. Tím zvýší i prémii za riziko, spojené s podnikatelskou činností. This paper is focused on a rookie entrepreneur who is starting a middle size business in the express package delivery business. The theoretical asks questions that a young businessman should give some thought. In particular it is a guideline how to assemble a successful business plan that attracts the creditors and other interested parties. It tells him how present his ideas in the right way and what should be avoided in the starting faze of a business. In the practical part the author tests working hypothesis, puts together the founding budget, expected profit and loss statement in the first year of the business and also the expected value of cash flow. The main hypothesis is the viability of the undertaking in market conditions. This hypothesis is being reinforced by the calculations in the estimated financial plan as well as the marketing research that concludes that for this kind of business there is still enough space left. But it has to be a cheap and quality business. The values of the return on assets and return on equity are examined in the reference to the risk-free interest rate and thanks to that we can identify how big the risk-bonus is for the investor. In conclusion of the paper gives the author a solution how to even improve the ROA and ROE, the net profit and cash flow. Thanks to that the risk-bonus of the undertaking is even higher.
