Content analysis of the main ethnological journals of the years 1970-1975 with taking account to the period 1964-1969

Detailed content analysis of the most important Czechoslovak ethnological journals (Český lid, Slovenský národopis, Národopisné aktuality, Národopisný věstník československý) from the period 1964-1975 documents and reveals changes in the theory, methodology as well as in topics studied in the Czechoslovak ethnology. An emphasis on political and ideological influence over science is laid.

The thesis aims to summarize our existing knowledge about the time of composition and the litcrary context oť an important historiographical work oť the Middle Ages - the so-called Sefer .Josippon. The thesis is divided into three main parts: the tirst one is concerned with critical comparison oť di ťferent conjectures regarding the origins of the boo k, the second attempts to interpret tbc book ťrom the point oťthe history oťJewish literature ofthat period and the tinal part consists ofa C zech translation oť three short extracts of the boo k, that are chosen to demonstrate the styl i sti cal and artistic techniques of the author and his way oť handl ing with hi s literary sources. The tirst part starts with deťining the problem of the authorship of the book. We have shown that Seťcr .fosippon wasn't originally writtcn as pseudo-epigraphical book, but it was traditionally ascribed to Josephus Flavius (called here ,Joseph ben Gorion''. a mistake caused by misunderstandig oť.Josippon ·s sourccs) only later, while in thc original text oťthis chronicle often quotes Josephus as its primary source oť inťormation. Economic and Political Consequences of Collectivization in Czechoslovakia

This work aims to analyze the consequences of collectivization in czechoslovak agriculture. Reporting period is between 1948-1960. In the theoretical part are described political and economic motives and condition of czechoslovak agriculture. In the practical part contents development of collectivization and impact of agriculture reforms on agriculture sector. Reporting period is divided into three parts according to collectivization intensity. In the end we managed to verify the hypothesis that collectivization strongly affected the czechoslovak agriculture.

Miniature Poems as a Means of Seeking New Beginings for Chinese Poetry in the 20th Century

This thesis deals with miniature poems, which appeared at the beginning of the May fourth movement, as a genre of modern chinese poetry and was redoscovered by the misty poets after the Cultural revolution. Part of a brief introduction to the literary- historical contexts of both periods are short biographies of two representative poets of this genre, Bing Xin and Gu Cheng. Eventually the form and themes of miniature poems are introduced. The main part of this thesis is a comparative study of Bing Xin's and Gu Cheng's miniature poems. The thesis concludes, that Gu Cheng refines and eleborates the artistic value of the miniature poem. The content of this thesis is to analyze the development of the central state administration on the territory of today's Czech and Slovak Republic in the years 1868 - 1993 In this period there was much public and political changes, so work includes the political and social development. The aim is to determine whether the state organization and political representation impact on the public administration. The work is based on an analysis of the laws that shaped the system of government, and professional publications.

Mediální prezentace veřejné zeleně v Českých Budějovicích (obsahová analýza jihočeského regionálního tisku)

Press is a part of mass communication providing the public with information and symbolic contents. It always reflects the supposed interest of the public in concrete problems and it mediates social control of the institutions which are responsible for the particular spheres. On the basis of the content analysis of the regional press in South Bohemia we can state that citizens do not perceive the problem of public greenery as urgent and thus this topic is not very frequent in the media. People mainly observe if public greenery is in good shape. The number of organisms to be encountered in urban environment by greenery users is not large according to the press.

Political marketing in the pre-election period

The purpose of this thesis is to analyze strategies of political marketing of the Czech Social Democratic Party and the political movement ANO 2011 in the Czech regional elections 2016. Furthermore, the work aims to analyze their media image in selected economic and political weeklies (Euro, Respect and Week). This thesis will attempt to answer the following questions through content analysis and qualitative interviews: What were the main differences in political strategies of those political parties? Were there some variations in interpretation of their media images in the selected magazines? The thesis is structured into four chapters. The first chapter defines the main terminology of political marketing. The second one is devoted to media-politics relations and to the Czech media. The third analytical part characterizes marketing strategies of the political parties. The last chapter interprets the results of content analysis.

The development of the catechetics in the Czech countries in the period 1920-1994

Anglická anotace The Development of The Catechetics in Czech countries from 1920 to 1994 The Catechetics is the scientific discipline that is concerned with the process of catechesis in the context of the pastoral practice of the Church. The beginnings of this discipline can be traced back to 1774 when the teaching of Catechetics had begun at The Faculty of Theology of Charles University in Prague. The subject of this work is concerned with changes of identity of Catechetics and with development of scientific reflection of catechesis in these areas: identity of catechesis, receivers of catechesis, tasks of catechesis in the pastoral practice, identity and personality of catechist, contents and aims of catechesis, methodology and organization of catechesis. The Period under consideration is devided into three periods according to significant historical events which are: the beginning the communistic persecution of the churches in 1950 and renovation of democracy in 1990. I found out and described some very interesting catechetical works in every of these periods. They had shifted forward the development of this discipline in our countries. Printed media circulation sales trend analysis

This Bachelor's thesis addresses the situation and trends on the Czech printed media market. The theoretical section of the thesis deals with the most important historical milestones and describes the situation on the Czech market since its independence. A detailed sales analysis of selected printed periodicals on the basis of verified data was carried out in the practical section. The end part of the practical section is devoted to research around potential transition opportunities for periodicals from a traditional printed to a digital form. The thesis points out to facts and demonstrates the ways by which it could be possible to prevent further revenue decreases in this market.The final part of the thesis concludes with a summary of the analyzed data, on the basis of which it attempts to predict the likely future development which the market can expect.

Foodjournalism in Czech newspapers betweenthe wars

In recent years, there is an apparent renaissance of the Czech cuisine, the "First Republic era" (1918 - 1938, CSR I) especially. Both chefs and journalists writing about cooking and dining are referring to the gastronomy of this time period more and more often and they are praising its quality and taste. However, there is no comprehensive publication about Czech gastronomy in 1918 - 1938 period, sparse references and notes can be found in witnesses commemorative volumes, from history of folklore and from the historical press, respectively. Based on the last especially, the image of "first republic" gastronomy is gradually puzzled out. Using a content analysis method, the four biggest newspapers (Lidové noviny, Národní listy, Český deník and Venkov) and eight women journals (Žena, Ženské listy, Ženské noviny, Ženský list, Rozsévačka, Česká Žena, Ženský svět and a "Československá žena" calendar) being published in examined period are investigated.
