Spekulace s komoditními deriváty
Kovaľ, Matúš ; Pígl, Jan (advisor)
In my work Speculation with commodity derivatives – case study I wrote about my personal experience with commodity trading The work itself is divided into two parts; first part explains the theoretical background needed for my work. It defines terms like finance market, exchange, different types of exchanges, and it also explains what commodity and commodity exchange is, furthermore it defines derivate I did trade, futures. Moreover, first part of my work describes different methods that are used for prediction of price movements, like fundamental, technical and psychological analyses. During my trading, I mostly used technical analysis, therefore I'm talking about this method more deeply and I describe few procedures more in detail. In the second part, I'm writing about my actual commodity trading. I was able to do that thankfully to CTS system, since the company allows its prospective customer, to use company's software and trade with virtual money, but with real time data from Chicago commodity exchange. Very fast did I understand that it's quite simple to learn how to use technical analysis. But what troubled me the most was the psychology of trader. I was unable to keep up with my trading plan, since my decisions were influenced by emotions like fear, stubbornness and impatience. And that was the reason why I focused on this in my work. I can divide my actual trading into three periods. In first, I was so inexperienced and shocked by how my emotions influenced my decisions that I was not able to keep up with any trading plan I prepared before start. In second period, I was able to make a plan and hold onto it. I was aware of problems that can be caused by emotional decisions, and I paid attention to them. In third period, I improved my trading system, and I was able to successfully trade commodities.

Building a predictive model for bankruptcy
BÜRGER, Pavel
Thesis deals with complex process of creation of new bankruptcy model for predicting business failure, while this process involves selection of quality sample, verification of classification accuracy of already existing bankruptcy models, profile analysis and finally the derivation of specific equation of bankruptcy model. The derivation is performed by using two selected statistical methods, discriminant analysis and logistic regression. Two bankruptcy models Bürger's index DA12 and Bürger's index LR12 were derived by using the mentioned statistical methods. The new models distinct advantage is, unlike already existing and renowned bankruptcy models, that they are focused on classification of micro and small enterprises in terms of Czech Republic, while classification accuracy one year before failure is by individual models 74.8 % and 81.87 %. Derived models have clear interpretation (no grey zone) and easy calculation, which brings a possibility for micro and small entrepreneurs to check their business partners in terms of failure prediction.

Shaping the psychological concept in teaching psychology
Holeček, Václav ; Štech, Stanislav (advisor) ; Mareš, Jiří (referee) ; Stuchlíková, Iva (referee)
The topic of this thesis is the issue of construing psychological concepts studied from the didactic- pedagogical and especially from the psychological point of view. The complicated processing of notions into concepts construction found its theoretical resource mainly in the theories of Vygotsky, Piaget and Bruner. The thesis analyses individual, social and educational constructivism and compares transmisive and constructivistic approaches within the school education. A separate section of the theoretic part deals with the didactics of psychology and with the definition of the term psycho-didactics. The topics of adolescent characteristics (with the focus on their cognitive development) and the concept of temperament (mainly its typologies) are included for empirical research reasons. The empirical part of the thesis confirms the patterns described in theories on a concrete psychological concept. For experimental research, the relatively well defined concept 'temperament' was purposely chosen (specifically types of classical temperament typology). The appropriation and understanding of these psychological notions/concepts are affected by several factors. The thesis explores the influence of the teaching method (transmisive vs. constructivistic approach) and the influence of knowing the student's personal...

Corruption - aspects of criminal law
Předposlední kapitola této rigorózní práce představuje srovnání naší právní úpravy s právní úpravou zahraniční, a to s právní úpravou Slovenské republiky. Kapitola poslední, osmá pak představuje závěr této rigorózní práce, její sumarizaci a názor autora nejen na další vývoj boje proti korupci. Corruption - aspects of criminal law This rigorous work is called " Corruption - aspects of criminal law". Based on it's content it is divided into eight individual chapters ( introduction, definition of the term corruption, historical background, Czech criminal law regulations of so called corruption delinquency, tools for combating corruption, international documents concerning corruption, foreign legal regulation and conclusions), in which I have tried to point...

Peroperative nurse work demands
VELÁTOVÁ, Simona
My thesis has two parts. Part One explains the concept of "perioperative nurse" and her competences set forth in the Decree no.55/2011 Coll., on the activities of healthcare workers and other professional workers. The following chapters discuss the working environment of perioperative nurses, job principles of perioperative nurses, preparation of the operating room, treatment and preparation of instruments and technical equipment. Theory Part One is concluded by the chapter that explains the concept of perioperative care. Part Two is focused on education and training of perioperative nurses. It provides historical information, conditions and opportunities for specialized training of perioperative nurses. The last chapter deals with lifelong learning. Objectives of the Thesis The first objective was to map the range of activities performed by perioperative nursesduring selected types of surgery. The second objective was to identify differences in perioperative nurses' activities during standard and laparoscopic surgery. The last objective was to identifyopportunities for further training of perioperative nurses. The method of qualitative research was used. Research data were collected from non-standardized in-depth interviews. The research covered perioperative nursesof three operating rooms in the Hospital of České Budějovice a. s., namely surgery, urology and gynaecology. The research was carried out in collaboration with 3 perioperative nurses of each of the above mentioned operating rooms. Responses were recorded in writingand interviews with individual nurses were numbered followed then by verbatim transcriptionof interview data. The evaluation and analysis of interviews were categorized and categories were supplemented with subcategories. The results of research focused on duties of perioperative nurses show that perioperative nurses' workencompasses many duties they have to performandfollow. The duties of perioperative nurses include activities before, during and after surgery. They smoothly follow one after another and have a predefined sequence. The Scrub Nurse and CirculatingNursejointly perform most activities. Checking was identified as the most frequent activity of perioperative nurses. Checking on the patient, checking on instruments, checking on equipment / devices, but no surgery check-listsare used in the workplaces fornow. For laparoscopic surgery, no great differences in activities were mentioned by perioperative nurses. There would only be some additional activities related to deployment, checking and control of devices. The spatial arrangement must ensure safety of the patient as well as personnel. The operation and control of devices and equipment is very challenging for perioperative nurses in terms of their technical skills and competences. The research concerning opportunities for further training of perioperative nurseshas showed that perioperative nurses prefer specialized training. As another method to refresh their knowledge, participation in workshops was mentioned by perioperative nurses. No other activities are pursued. The purpose of my thesis was to describe activities (duties) performed by perioperative nurses in their daily routine work and establish how they learn and addnew information and knowledge. Perioperative nursesmanage theactivities / operation of operating rooms. They are required to be familiar with the technique and operating procedures and faultlesslyhandle various types of instruments. Professional knowledge supports a smooth course and good quality results of surgery. All of that requires continuous control, training and expanding their knowledge. This thesis points out the need for employer'sinvestments in training and more proactive approach of perioperative nurses to lifelong learning. The research results could provide the basis for preparation of a lecture for perioperative nurses.

Molecular adaptations of adipose tissue in relation to dietary treatment of obesity in human
Tencerová, Michaela ; Štich, Vladimír (advisor) ; Flachs, Pavel (referee) ; Kazdová, Ludmila (referee) ; Kunešová, Marie (referee)
The general goal of this work was to investigate the molecular adaptations of human AT in relation to DIs with respect to its secretory activity as well as cellular composition focused on macrophages population. Specifically, we studied the role of novel adipokines, such as visfatin and RBP4, related to insulin resistance and AT metabolism. Furthermore, we wanted to characterize the effect of the dietary-induced changes on the content of ATM together with metabolic amelioration. In our studies, we found that lifestyle modifications had a beneficial effect on metabolic and biochemical parameters depending on the duration and type of DI. Regarding both of the investigated adipokines, visfatin and RBP4, we revealed modifications at the transcriptional and cirulating levels during DI. However, we did not find any association with the pattern of evolution of insulin resistance. Our findings do not support a clear hypothesis on the role of these adipokines in the diet-induced improvement of insulin sensitivity and other obesity-related metabolic disturbances. In respect to the changes of ATM content during long-term DI, we demonstrated using flow cytometry that the AT composition was changed at the end of the whole dietary intervention (i.e. after WM phase). This diet-induced AT remodelling was expressed by a...
