Selected elements of music therapy during musical activities for students of the Elementary School at the Arpida center

This thesis characterizes music therapy, therefore the history, the types, the formes, the methods and the purpose of this therapeutical field. The following chapter focuses on special education and its individual disciplines. The final chapter of the theoretical part describes the models and the structure of music therapy for individuals with special needs. The practical part characterizes the Rehabilitation Center Arpida and further offers four theoretical models of the music therapy gatherings, specifically arranged mainly for the students of the Elementary school in the Arpida Center, which offer musical activities with music therapy elements.
Work methods with pupils with intellectual disabilities in special elementary schools in Zlínský Region

This diploma thesis deals with work methods that are used in the education of pupils with intellectual disabilities. The aim of the thesis is to find out how teachers work with pupils with intellectual disabilities in special primary schools in the Zlín region. In the mentioned theoretical starting points, intellectual disability is first defined, the educational process and its specifics in the special primary school is mentioned, as well as the work methods that are used in the education of pupils in the special primary school. Information for the qualitative research was obtained using semi-structured interviews, conducted with twelve special education teachers. The obtained data were analyzed using a grounded theory design and open coding technique. The research revealed that special education teachers use a huge number of different teaching aids. They don't use textbooks much, and if they do, then those from Parta, Septima, Taktik and Nová škola publishing houses. In special primary schools in the Zlín region, they have a Snoezelen room, perform Basal Stimulation and some also provide individual speech therapy. They also offer music therapy, canistherapy, hippotherapy, ergotherapy, art therapy, elements of aromatherapy and dramatherapy and orofacial therapy. Some schools have a physiotherapist...
Evaluation of the popularity and difficulty of subjects in lower-secondary of a special primary school

This diploma thesis aims to describe the popularity and difficulty of subjects at the second level of a special elementary school and what are the factors of this issue. The theoretical part introduces all the basic terms and concepts related to this issue using domestic and foreign sources. Scientific and pedagogical articles as well as professional literature in the field are used as sources. The reader will be introduced and acquainted with the issue of self-evaluation of the teacher's personality, his abilities and identification of qualities. In the practical part, a combination of qualitative and quantitative methods is used. Pupils of the second stage of the special basic school were assigned a questionnaire. Respondents were pupils aged twelve to fifteen and sixteen. The practical part is focused on the pupil's perception of the popularity of selected subjects as well as on their difficulty. It is found out what is the popularity and difficulty of the subjects. Use of a Snoezelen space for education of children with multiple handicaps at a special school

This bachelor's thesis explores the use of a Snoezelen space in the education of students with multiple disabilities at a special elementary school (a school specialized for students with disabilities). The goal of the work is to observe how a special elementary school uses the Snoezelen space to educate students with multiple disabilities within the theme of the seasons. The theoretical section presents the theory of the Snoezelen concept, the possibilities of its use, and relevant scientific studies that have been carried out. It also describes the education of students with multiple disabilities and explains how the Snoezelen concept can be used within this education. The practical section presents qualitative research, which was carried out in the form of observation of visitors to the Snoezelen space, interviews with teachers, and analysis of documents from three students. The research investigation section provides insight into how the special elementary school uses this space. In research, it was found that the school uses the space for education, focusing mainly on sensory, intellectual, and speech education, and for relaxation, using elements of the concept for basal stimulation. Creation of didactic aids for pupils with Dysfunction in Autism Spectrumin the educational process of special primary school

This bachelor thesis deals with creators of teaching aids for pupils in the educational process of special schools for primary education. The aim of the work is to find out how teachers approach the creation of teaching aids for students with ASD. If there are some problems in the process of creation of an aid for a pupil with ASD. What procedures they suggest for creating an aid. A partial opinion is the creation of a possibility for interactive teaching aids and applications which allow to create some specific aids for a selected pupil. The work is divided into two parts, a theoretical part and a practical part. The theoretical part consists of 5 main chapters. It focuses on the issue of ASD, on the manifestations of behaviour in children with ASD, on didactic approaches which can be applied in the education of students with ASD and the last chapter is focused on teaching aids for students with ASD. There is a quality qualitative research for the practical part. The method of semi-structured interview is chosen for data collection. For data purposes, the method of creating clumps is chosen. The results of the research parts and the research objectives are available at the end of the practical part. The bachelor thesis advert to the approach of teachers to the creation of teaching aids. It examines if there are any problems in the process of creation of aids. It describes each proposed procedure of the creation of aids for pupils with ASD from teachers. It also focuses on the creation of my own proposed procedure for the production of aids and application of this procedure in creating a specific aid for a selected pupil.

Bachelor thesis is concerned with formation of the first institutions of special education in our country, legislation of the education in past and at present and with historical development of the institutions for mentally disable people. The thesis is devided into four parts. The first chapter is concerned with stages of the attitude to disable people. The second part describes history and the founding of the school for special education in Bohemia and Moravia. The third part is devided into two chapters. The first part deals with law education from 1774 to 1989. The second part describes current law education and regulations. The last part is concerned with history and present of special elementary school " Klíček" in Tábor - Záluží.
