What forms the image of nursery school in the eyes of parents

The choice of a nursery school is a first life step into the world. A daily schedule, age composition of educationalists, size of the facility or reachability from home are some of many criteria influencing parent's choice of the nursery school for their child. The diploma thesis "What forms the image of nursery school in the eyes of parents" is divided into two parts - theoretical and practical. The theoretical part describes and characterizes individual elements of image in connection with the preschool institution during particular time period and shows first moments before entering nursery school. The practical part describes the realization of the research focused on nursery school choice criteria, parental expectations about the nursery schools and their view of the preschool education but also educationalists' opinion about the image. The chapters in the practical part are also focused on individual nursery school characteristics, detailed data analysis as well as data summary and evaluation of three distinct questionnaires. The thesis conclusion contains overall summary of all gained data and knowledge and final suggestions for creation of nursery school image.
Educational needs of kindergartens headmasters in Prague

The bachelor thesis deals with the educational needs of nursery school headmasters in Prague. The aim was to find out the contemporary educational needs of the stated group of leading workers and compare them with topical educational offers on the territory of the capital city of Prague. Theoretical part comes from the professional literature concerning the nowadays pre-school available educational and other sources and others. Researching part was based on questionnaire studies and its further analysis. The result is to create the whole side of further education of nursery school headmasters concerning their demands. At the end of the bachelor thesis the headmasters' interests of further school management education are confirmed and the time limited possibilities of headmasters are pointed out. The author of the thesis also shows the inadequate educational offers and the lack of wrong adjustment of the whole system of managerial education in our educational system.
Educational Needs of Managers of Kindergartens in the Central Bohemian Region

4 ABSTRACT: The bachelor thesis deals with identifying educational needs of managers of kindergartens in Central Bohemian Region and educational opportunities in Central Bohemia and Prague. The aim of this research was to find those needs, monitor managers' level of satisfaction with current educational opportunities in the region. It also searched for a dependence of the priorities of the educational needs on the amount of years spent in the leading position. The scientific literature is presented in the theoretical part of this work. It also provides an overview of the current status of pre-school education and legal requirements for the job. The key point of the research is based on a survey among managers of kindergartens of the Central Bohemian Region and its subsequent analysis. The survey results lead to the creation of a plastic view at the educational opportunities for the managers in the context with their educational needs. The final part of this work presents the results of investigations to confirm managers' interest in further education. Furthermore, it shows their satisfaction with educational options in the context of their needs and the results of the investigation that do not confirm the dependence of the selection of educational areas on the number of years spent in a leading position....
In the Report of Czech School Inspection as a Source of Information about Breaking the Rules in the Examples of the Kindergartens

The thesis deals with comparison of the supply and demand in the area of vocational education of the beginning directors of nursery schools in relation to the uneasy period at the beginning of their accession to the position. The present time full of changes and opportunities favours those who are prepared and these may subsequently manage to find their bearings better and faster. The theoretical part of the thesis is based on the specialized literature, law acts and further sources available. The practical part analyses the knowledge gathered by questionnaire survey, in which one type of the questionnaire was prepared for the directors of nursery schools who are less than two years in their position, and the second type was aimed at the educational institutions. The aim of the thesis is to find the up to date offer of the educational institutions in the area of vocational education of the beginning nursery school directors and to compare this offer with the demand for vocational education from the beginning directors. The diploma thesis called Visual arts education and artistic creation in Štětí describes the teaching and the conception of Visual arts in Štětí. The methods of qualitative research were implemented, namely the observations of the art teachers in practice, the interviews with the teachers and the statements of the pupils. All these methods were used in order to answer the research question. Another aim of the diploma thesis is to describe the educational and cultural institutions. The goal of the thesis is to create a design of kindergarten interior into the existing floor plan layout, propose a design and construction of the atypical component for storing lying furniture and bedding. The special needs for educating children with a speech impediment and children with other speech disorders are the specifications of the work. There are described all important requirements for designing kindergarten interior with a previously mentioned specification. Input data are based on the criteria and already existing layout. This bachelor thesis is divided into two parts. The first theoretical part is focused on kindergartens, logopedics, creating a public interior and furniture for educational institutions. In the second part of the thesis, there is an analysis of the current state of the interior of the kindergarten, a proposal of the interior with the visualization and design of the atypical element and its calculation.
School choices by parents of children visiting forest kindergardens

This text deal with school choices by parents of children who are currently visiting forest kindergarden. This thesis is offering answers on questions: which aspects play a rule and influent parents choices of preprimary and primary schools for their children. The impact of this work is offer an insight and better understanding into phenomenon of growth of forest kindergarden and also prediction of the possible development of this institution in the future. This work recognize parents as policy active participants who are by their school choices reacting on broadly available offers from educational system. Content of this thesis is also distinction of three types of kindergarden which were recognised. Inside this different forest kindergarden were observed three atypic communities following different values and ways of life. The impact of this work is better understanding of what parents really want, what they ask and desire to get from the educational system and how they react when they can not meet their needs and preferences in the offers from educational system.
