Ways of solving the bankruptcy of travel agencies

This diploma thesis deals with ways to solve the bankruptcy of travel agencies. The aim of the work is the analysis of selected ways of solving bankruptcy in insolvency proceedings and their impact in application practice. The work is divided into two parts, theoretical, which explains travel agencies looking at business, either as a individual person or a legal entity. It also explains the bankruptcy and the various ways in which it can be dealt with in the case of a natural or legal person. The second part contains a practical part, which analyses the number of active travel agencies in the Czech Republic, the number of travel agencies in bankruptcy and analyses in detail two cases of travel agencies that has declared bankruptcy and whose insolvency proceedings have already been terminated. The practical part includes proposals de lege ferenda.

This thesis deals with bankruptcy of travel agencies. The goal is evaluation of current status of the legislation in this area and verification of two hypotheses stated in the introduction. Author discusses with current and future status of bankruptcy law and law in tourism. This thesis also apprizes insolvency process of two chosen travel agencies. After the chapter about case law, athor summs up the current status and future of legislation in the area of bankruptcy of travel agencies and confirms two hypotheses stated in the introduction.
Analysis of the influence of the social networks on the prosperity of the travel agencies

This bachelor thesis investigates the social media, which favour is dramaticaly increasing. Thanks to modern technologies, they are available more than ever. We will specifically focus on using them by companies, which can increase their profit aswell as popularity. Through social media, companies can introduce their services or merchandise, they can also use it as completely new way of communication. As you can be better and more succesful thanks to social network, you can also lose pace with the others or stand face-to-face to open critics. We will specifically focus on tourism and tourist agencies. We will analyze approches of these companies, how they work with social network. We will find pros and cons on which companies should focus. We will try to suggest some ideas for future.
Perception of Attractiveness of Poland as a Tourism Space by Population of Czechia

The doctoral thesis is devoted to analyzing the perception of attractiveness of Poland as a tourism space from the perspective of Czech citizens in a broader context of mutual Czech -Polish relations in tourism. The thesis is primarily based on theoretical concepts of geography of tourism and at the same time it also follows other geographical and scientific disciplines. The methodological framework of the thesis benefits from the openness and multi-disciplinary nature of tourism. Part of the thesis was created using traditional methods and techniques applied in geography, among others: questionnaire research among students, structured interviews with employees of travel agencies, semi-structured interviews with representatives of the Polish governmental institutions, and analyses of the Internet and printed sources. Additionally, there were utilized methods and techniques used more frequently in other disciplines, including: Delphi method, SWOT analysis, mystery shopping, analysis of travelogues, Internet sources of information about Poland, and content of textbooks. The main aim of my thesis was to characterize the business environment of tour operators and travel agencies in the Czech Republic and suggest possibilities of improvement in this area. Own propositions and recommendations are based on knowledge and information gained from the analysis of the business environment, questionnaire survey and interviews with representatives of associations of tour operators and travel agencies in the Czech Republic.
Spa and wellness in the offer of travel agencies

The main aim is to evaluate the current supply of the travel agencies in products of the spa and wellness services in selected areas. Based on the analysis, design a new package of services for a selected segment of customers. The first step of thesis was studying literary sources and creating literary research. Futhermore, the bachelor thesis deals with the statistics concerning the spa tourism. Then, within my own research some controlled interviews and surveys were carried out.

A part of the work is a literary research of the current situation of the CK and CA market, an analysis of selected travel agencies, and a questionnaire survey, which aimed to determine how aware consumers are of their rights when purchasing a trip. Consumer protection is one of the most pressing topics in modern consumer times. As such, it has its pitfalls and its ensuring is not easy. Especially in field of providing services when satisfaction of consumers is often very subjective. The aim of the bachelor thesis is to analyse current situation of consumer protection in the Czech Republic. In the theoretical part basic terms, development process, current situation and forthcoming changes are described. The practical part is focused on analyse of advancing consumer protection in practice and on research among travel agencies and their clients.
Analysis of travel agencies' offer for selected segment - families with children

This thesis analyses one of the most significant segments of the tourism market, families with children. Its main aim is the analysis of three selected travel agencies' marketing mix with the emphasis on families with children. Analysis of the marketing mix made by the author of the thesis is summarised using the SWOT analysis. The travel agencies are compared in two model situations with similar conditions.

The graduation thesis is focusing on rise of mass tourism in the Federal republic of Germany in the fifties and the sixties of the twentieth century. The introductory part deals with the time of Weimar Republic, when the necessary background of subsequent post-war mass tourism development was set. One of the further crucial subjects of matter is the economic miracle and consumer society, which led among the German citizens up to the broad acceptance of travelling, as a possible way of spending their leisure time. The main part of the thesis concentrates on the mass tourism as cultural and social phenomena. Special attention is finally devoted to the tourist infrastructure in the federal republic in the fifties and the sixties and the way it formed a developed.
