The use of Tiger World® methodology in personality and social development of children in primary school
Hálová, Berenika ; Krčmářová, Tereza (advisor) ; Hejlová, Helena (referee)
The diploma thesis is devoted to the development of personality and social education at the 1st grade of primary schools. As a tool for this development, I chose the Tiger World® method, which was described by Mr. and Mrs. Kops in their three books. Based on the study of this method and using the principles and means of personality and social education, I created preparations for individual lessons, which I applied in my core class. The knowledge presented in the theoretical part is the starting point for the practical part. In the first part, I define personality and social education, the concept of well-being and the classroom climate. These basic concepts are reflected in the practical part, where the given activities aim to promote well-being and a safe classroom climate. The basis for the given activities is provided by personality and social education, which defines goals, principles and means, and at the same time I am guided by these principles when working with children. The second half of the theoretical part deals with personality typology. Here I define the theoretical basis for the division of personality types according to temperament based on the MBTI theory. I also describe the typology from the Kops family. At the end of the practical part, I characterize two students based on my...
Attachment and relationships with peers in the classroom during adolescence
BOROVSKÁ, Natálie
This thesis describes the relationships between peers and pupils position in a classroom environment during adolescence. The practical segment focused on a statistical analysis of the data gathered from the survey responses from 86 adolescents. We administered two questionnaires, IPPA for attachment to the mother, father and peers and SORAD which identified the pupil's position in the class. Our observations identified connections between Popularity and Trust in peers, Popularity and Alienation from peers, positive correlation between peer Trust and Influence and positive correlation between influence and the quality / quantity of peer communication. All the research findings include the peers who are considered very important to individuals during this sample period.
Pupil's temperament and social position in the classroom in early adolescence
ČEKALOVÁ, Bára
This bachelor thesis deals with temperament in the enviroment of school classroom. The main goal of this work is to discover the connection between temperament traits and social positions. The first part gathers already identified theoretical knowledge and already existing research about the connection. The second part examines this relationship in practice. The practical part consists of a quantitative study. The research sample consisted of a total of 75 pupils in the 6th and 7th grades of the Primary School. Temperament traits were determined using the EATQR questionnaire from Mary Rothbart and Les Eliss, social position using the Sociometric rating method of Vladimír Hrabal. To supplement the information, we analyzed the verbal statements of students about their classmates and compared them with a self-test questionnaire. The data were processed using Statistica 13 and Microsoft Excel. The results of the research showed that certain connections exist within this relationship, but they are not fully identical with the theoretical assumptions and previous research. In the total sample, we found connections between free control and extraversion. A statically significant positive relationship between extraversion and influence was found in a sample of boys. We did not find any significant relationship between temperament traits and social positions in the classroom in the group of girls. Verbal statements often included the evaluation of others according to marks or the evaluation of the teacher. Girls rated girls more positively and boys rated boys more positively. Inconsistencies often appeared between the self-test questionnaires and the results of the evaluation by others, which may be caused by stylization according to social desirability or a small research sample.

B-3 questionnaire determines the current classroom climate and subsequent effects of the adaptation course among the respondents. Form teacher lessons are reported in this thesis, whose effect is also measured by the B-3 questionnaire in a longer period of the adaptation course. The results of the questionnaire investigation point to the need for regular form teacher lessons, in which the formation of a friendly climate in the classroom is realized.

Lukáš, Richard ; Buchtík, Martin (advisor) ; Remr, Jiří (referee)
Richard Lukáš Proposal of instrumental solution of measuring group dynamics of school class after orientation program Bachelor's Thesis Abstract In this thesis we proposed instrument for measuring group dynamics of the class in first grade on high school, which passed an orientation program. The instrument is based on robust conceptualization of group dynamics. We compared the dimensions of group dynamics with the goals of the orientation programs and thus we received 10 main dimensions of our conceptual model (norms, roles, relations, communication, cooperation, conflict management, cohesion, social support, social atmosphere and leadership and decision-making), which were operationalized then. We proposed research design consisting of 2 versions of the questionnaire. The first is administered among the students of the class in simple version. The second is administered among teacher and instructors of the orientation program and is based on the research design of questionnaire Group Dynamics Q-Sort. Administrations take place before the orientation program, in the end of it and two months later in the school. We also proposed indexes measuring the structure of the class, interaction within it, mutual support and cohesion. We conducted expert interviews regarding the questionnaire and a pilot. In the end...
