In the thesis there are outlined the main sibling constellations and their basic characteristics, the importance of fairy tale themes in the life of an individual and selected passages of fairy tales that touch the topic of sibling relationships. Differences in the resolution of sea territories conflicts in areas with energy resources
Bančanský, Andrej ; Karlas, Jan (advisor) ; Parízek, Michal (referee)
Energy security is an important phenomenon of the contemporary world. A significant number of oil and gas reserves are located on the seabed. Expansion of oil and gas drilling to deeper and from shore more remote locations can again raise the question of ownership of these deposits. On one hand, there are regions of the world where these disputes over borders of maritime territories escalate into a series of clashes and incidents. On the other hand, there are other areas where states can settle their disputes and cooperate on drilling. The goal of this study is to determine which factors lead to the fact that particularly in the South China Sea disagreement about the boundaries of maritime territories results in the escalation of disputes in comparison with the regions of the North Sea and the Caribbean Sea, where disputes are solved or minimized. These factors are represented by six variables, which are based on three theories: a realist, idealist and constructivist theory of international relations. The first part of this study describes the historical development of current international maritime law with regard to the territorial division of the world's oceans. It is followed by a description of three case areas. The second part deals with the theoretical foundations of the examined factors. In...
The effect of social organization of games on the orientation in their moral dimension - revision of research done by E. Kuruczová
Jindrová, Jitka ; Klusák, Miroslav (advisor) ; Frombergerová, Anna (referee)
The author is reviewing the research that E. Kuruczová demonstrated in her diploma thesis called The effect of social organization of games on the orientation in their moral dimension. The main goal of the diploma thesis Kuruczová developed another contribution to Piaget's theory of the development of moral reasoning of school-age children. Piaget's empirical data suggested that social organizations could influence orientation in their moral dimensions. Kuruczová found that in her 180 children from one school (aged 1st - 9th grade) the development of orientation in the moral dimension of the game King of Deer Hunters (organized as a competition) performs ahead of the development of orientation in the moral dimension of the game Hot Potato (organized as a collaboration). Furthermore, in the research, children of Kuruczová think about the stories of unjust play situations organized by "Mrs. Teacher". Even the youngest and unoriented did not argue the evaluation of the situation as a fair authority of the teacher - which, according to Piaget's theory, could assume the key role of the criterion of obedience of authority in the heteronomous understanding of the criteria of moral evaluation. This thesis therefore answers the question of whether it can replicate these findings. Unlike Kuruczová,...

Bachelor Thesis Author: Kristýna Dohnalová Years of renewal: the diversity of approaches to urban planning in West and East Berlin in 1945-1961 Abstract The topic of this bachelor thesis is the difference in the urban planning strategies of West and East Berlin from the end of the Second World War to the year 1961, when construction of the Berlin Wall divided the city. The time range between 1945 and 1961 was marked by a spirit of post-war-rebuild of Berlin's urban structure. The period subjected to examination is divided into time-specific phases - each characterized by a different approach to urban planning varying in both the eastern and western part of the city. Since the political division of the city in 1948, the parts became known as "West and East Berlin" respectively. The theoretical section of the thesis focuses on the most significant principles of urban planning, applied to both parts of the city, during the defined period. Through a detailed research of individual urban planning concepts, the practical part of the thesis endeavours to compare the differences between the architectural approaches and the changing West Berlin and East Berlin urban planning strategies. The thesis concludes that both urban development policies differed significantly. This dissimilarity was caused by geopolitical...

Štěrbová, Iveta ; Gillernová, Ilona (advisor) ; Šírová, Eva (referee)
The bachelor thesis concerns with sibling relationships between children growing up in the same family during childhood, adolescence and early adulthood. Particular emphasis is placed on the distinctive characteristics of the interactions between siblings, such as warmth and closeness, relative status and power, conflict and rivalry, and their impact on the perceived quality of the bond between brothers and sisters and the functioning of the relationships outside the family.
