Semantics of Czech Beer Advertisements Or "Men to Themselves"

The thesis focuses on the semantic analysis of the advertisement of different Czech beer brands which have been on the market for the last twenty years. The theoretical part consists of the interpretation of marketing strategies and psychology and decodes the typical advertising language and content of chosen advertisements. The thesis also deals with the history of beer, brewery and law restrictions of advertising alcoholic products.
Adolescents perception of the television advertising

This thesis named Adolescents' Perception of Television Advertisement is an analysis of the relationship between the television advertisement and the chosen target audience - adolescents at the age of 17 - 20. The thesis examines to what extent the television advertising contributes to forming an image of the world in the members of the target audience and asks whether the advertising pressure focused on the target audience is effective or whether the adolescents are able to think critically and indipendently and to create their own opinion on the proposed and explored issue. The introduced thesis is devided in two parts - practical and analytical. The first one is primarily based on findings gained form relevant literature and the sedondone presents the process and results of the very quantitative research. The main aim of this thesis is to find out what is the overall attitude of adolescents at the age of 17 - 20 towards the television advertisement and to give evidence whether they believe the informatik presented in the TV advertising. In order to meet the given goal 105 students of two last years of Catholic Grammar School in Pilsen were put through the quantitative questionnaire research detected the trends in adolescents' attitudes and perception of TV advertising. The thesis "The impact of television advertising on children of primary school age" research how usage of psychology in advertising influences customers aged 6 to 11 years. The introduction of theoretical part defines term advertising, her aims and history. Another chapter acquainted with the context and connections between the disciplines of psychology and advertising. The work includes psychological analysis of advertising and explanation of terms that relate to its adoption and a description of the development of perceptual abilities of the child in school aged child. The research. The practical part focuses on the description of the creation and presentation of research results. Finally, the work deals with a practical analysis of TV commercials that respondents chose as their favorite. This step reveals ad properties that make it unique from the children's perspective. ABSTRAKT-aj The aim of thesis is semiotic analysis of chosen audio-visual commercials of children's products. The thesis will contain introduction, ending, theoretic part and empiric part. I introduce semiotics and its classification like subject of science in theoretic part, explain concept of sign, semiosis and conception of sign by three representative of semiotics-Ferdinand de Saussure, Charles S. Peirce and Roland Barthes. Next I will focus on commercial. I will describe commercial discours, communication and marketing mix and classification of commercials. I'll introduce television as medium of commercial and come to the psychology of commercial where I will apply of methods gaining attention of consumers. Next I will apply children's consumer, children's marketing, children's and television commercial, how perception of television commercial influences children of different age, how to eliminate influence of commerical to children and in the end regulation of commercial. In empiric part I will do semiotic analysis of chosen audio-visual commercials of children's products. The Impact of Advertising on Children Attending the Primary School and the Nursery School

Advertising is everywhere around us. Every day a large amount of commercials and adverts is influencing us regardless of the fact whether it is from TV, the internet or magazines. We also can see advertising in shops and on the streets. Children are becoming a popular target of traders and therefore this thesis is focused on the impact of advertising on children. The goal of the thesis is to analyse the impact of advertising on children attending the primary school and the nursery school, then to find out how children perceive advertising and how they are influenced by it depending on their age and gender. The thesis is divided into two parts. The theoretical part concentrates on advertising, the consumer behaviour and the segmentation of the market. The last chapter focuses on the specifics of children´s segment, methods of addressing children and the end of this part is dedicated to the regulation of advertising in relation to children. The practical part concerns my own survey which was carried out in the form of group discussion with pres-chool children, questionnaire among pupils and online questionnaire among parents.
Product photography as a marketing tool

The aim of this bachelor's thesis "Product photography as a marketing tool" is to point out the fact that the perfect product photography attract attention and that they are many times the reason for buying the product itself. Oftentimes it is not about theconsumers' ownership needs, but about their various emotional aspects and the fact that people generally like to identify themselves either with their idols, or with the vision of being better. Consumersthus leave themselves easily manipulated by it and variety of marketing agencies take advantages of it. However, hardly anybody realize that the final photography is the result of several hours of carefully thought work. Although, what is important is that the product photography is from the very beginning created with the aim to attract and sell. Due to this fact I look at the product photography as an marketing hence communication tool whose main task is to evoke emotions. Next aim of this thesis is the public survey which is to reveal how the consumers perceive and see product photography. In the practical part of this thesis I focus on the actual taking of advertising photography from four areas that are most close to me. Then I create a fictitious order to create a cover for D&D magazine and get the feedbacks through the questionnaire and from a professional itself -- the photographer.
Children and advertising: The impact of advertising on children

The bachelor's thesis deals with the issue of the impact of advertising on children. The first part of the thesis presents teoretical beckground of this subject as are terms as marketing, advertising and children. The reader is also reffered to the issue because of already completed studies. Practical part contains of the interview with director marketing of chocolate CZ/SK from Kraft Foods and of my own research. The research is based on a questionnaire which is dedicated to parents. The obtained data are evaluated and recommendations are inferred.
Deceptive Advertising and Analysis of Its Effect on Consumers

This bachelor thesis deals with deceptive advertising and its effect on consumers. The first part of this thesis describes deceptive advertising as a part of unfair competition, definitions, psychology of advertising and means to influence consumer's decisions. In the practical part the specific cases of deception in advertising are identified, including their demonstrations on examples. The following chapters contain the evaluation of the survey to determine consumer awareness of deceptive advertising, consumer's manipulability and their attitudes towards advertising. The conclusion summarizes the objectives of this bachelor thesis, there are also suggested other possibilities of further investigation and it describes the contribution of this thesis.
Psychology of advertising

This bachelor thesis deals with the concept of psychology of advertising and with the influence of advertising on behavior and attitudes of man in his everyday life. The aim of this thesis is to determine the extent, to which advertising affects the psyche and human behavior, then to what extent it is effective and how its effect influence contemporary society. The theoretical part includes the definition of psychology of advertising, its history and types. Also are described the ways of influencing and manipulating the human psyche and emotions. The aim is to determine the practical effects on behavior, attitudes and acceptance by consumers influenced by media advertising. The practical part contains the interpretation of research results due to a specific hypothesis. It also includes decisions about whether the results obtained agree or are in conflict with the results set out in the theoretical part.
A relationship of seller and customer

The reason, why I had chosen for my diploma work topic The Relationship between seller and customer, is this time, when powerful competition press upon the firms to improve quality of their products or services, the top management is aiming at the quality of communication with customers, too. They are aware of that good or bad relationship with customer may determine if the firm will be successful or not. For it is necessary to train and motivate employee who communicate with customer, but first-rate direction by management too and to created positive firm cultural which will motivate the employees to longtime and high-quality work and affect at customers, too. In my diploma work I had aimed at factors which motivate customers but employees and management too. The employees and top management, they are links of firm which have influence to work and results of enterprise. In the first part of my work I had aimed at these factors general. I had analysed them and my result is that this factors really influence the relationship between seller and customer. In the second part of my work I had analysed these factors in elected enterprises. For synthesis and comparison of results of firms I had chosen the form of many-criterion rate.
