Analysis of the results of educational projects focused on pupils' value attitudes in high schools

Diploma Thesis: An analysis of the results from educational projects focused on the value attitudes of secondary school pupils that compares two concrete educational projects - Jeden svět na školách by NGO People in Need and Příběhy našich sousedů Post Bellum civic society. In the theoretical part, the thesis presents sources of civic and media education and the link between legislative and strategic documents in the Czech Republic thanks to the International Civic and Citizenship Education Study (ICCS) also under international comparison. In the practical part, the thesis focuses on the comparison of methodological, pedagogical, and other aspects of educational projects and solves questions regarding management and the meeting of set targets. Proposal for optimalization of organization of teaching staff education to the state graduation examx in Prague and Central Bohemia.

1 ABSTRACT This thesis deals with the educational management of the teaching staff supervising the state graduation exams. The theoretical part explains the concept of educational management and focuses in detail on the managerial function of organization. It describes the current form of the state graduation exams, related legislation and institutions involved. The thesis explains the staffing of graduation exams and individual training programs for teachers, and clarifies the role of further education of teachers. The aim of the work is to optimize the organization surrounding the education of teachers supervising the state graduation exams in Prague and Central Bohemia. The data in the presented research were collected via a survey among participants of the education related to the state graduation exams in Prague and Central Bohemia in the school year of 2015/2016 and interviews with lecturers of relevant training programs. Career of the kindergarten teacher and its support from the school management level

This diploma thesis deals with the topic of career in teaching, which has many specific characteristics compared to the classical concept of career. The thesis focuses on the group of kindergarten teachers who stand at the beginning of the education system as important influencers on the life-long educational journey of each of us. The aim of the thesis is to analyse the view of the kindergarten teacher career by teachers and principals and to look for support from the school management level. The theoretical part deals with three basic areas, which are professional development, professional career and career system. The first chapter shows the connection between the professional development of teachers and their career, it also focuses on its individual components, especially continual education of teachers. The second chapter is devoted to the career itself and compares the theoretical background of the career with its specifics in the teaching career. It looks at the teaching profession in terms of its attractiveness and individual stages of the teachers' career. Quality of further education processes

The aim of this diploma thesis is to identify differences in the perception of the quality of further education processes from the viewpoint of the participant, the lecturer and the director of the educational institution. The partial aim of the thesis is to confirm or to rebut the hypothesis based on experience from one's own practice that the lector is the most important factor influencing the quality of further education processes. The theoretical part is divided into two chapters, the first chapter characterizing the process and the quality of further education including the methods and tools used to manage the quality of the processes in further education, the role of quality management in the organizations providing further education. The second chapter deals with various factors influencing the quality of the continuing education processes. The practical part of the thesis includes a research of the quality of the processes of further education, in which quantitative and qualitative methods are used. Outputs from the research survey provide the basis for answering research questions and confirming or refuting the hypothesis. Analysis of conceptual framework of educational management in peer-reviewed pedagogical journals in 2000-2017

This diploma thesis deals with the analysis of the conceptual framework of education management in peer-reviewed journals. The theoretical part is focused on the summary of the existing knowledge about all contexts related to the field of education management from the point of view of the time perspective. It draws on both foreign and domestic sources. Attention will also be paid to the current issue of terminologically uninterrupted important educological terms related to the management of education. Further chapters will focus on educational theories, leadership perspectives in education, lifelong learning, adult education and senior education. The research part is focused on the content analysis of the Czech peer- reviewed pedagogical journals Pedagogika, Pedagogická orientace and Studia paedagogica. Its aim is to analyze how the conceptual framework of education management in the years 2000-2017 developed in them. Based on the analysis, answers will be sought on the areas of management of education and the subject to which the most attention is paid, which topics are most frequently addressed in relation to adult education and senior citizens, how the frequency of these topics has evolved, and whether there are some common patterns among the magazines analyzed. Support for elementary school teachers' self-education and professional development from organizations directed by the MEYS

The aim of this thesis is to identify forms and areas of support for teachers in the self-education originating from other selected organizations directly managed by MEYS, and evaluate usability of support for the professional development of elementary school teachers. The theoretical part of the thesis deals with self-education as an important process that participates in the professional development of teachers. It also deals with methods of education, sources of information and the possibilities of self-management of self-education from the perspective self-educated person as well as external subjects. In the practical part, the thesis focuses on quantitative survey research focusing on MEYS for supported development of teachers - by the National Institute for Education and the National Institute for Further Education. For the purpose of identifying the available forms and areas of support for teachers in self-education, especially the support of elementary school teachers, a content analysis of the institutions documents was performed. The diploma thesis deals with the director's function in pre-primary education. The aim of the diplom thesis is to analyze and evaluate processes and management in the concept of preschool education, emphasizing the role of the headmaster of the kindergarten as the governing body responsible for the quality of educational processes. The preschool headmaster works closely with other pedagogical staff and deputy directors whose functions are also mentioned, here. The pedagogical staff are indispensable in the educational process of the school. The concept of pre-primary education is characterized in the theoretical part by its legislation. It focuses on the work activities of pedagogical staff - teachers, deputy director and director. It introduces the functions of the kindergarten, represents individual activities in kindergarten mode and mentions the obligatory documentation, which is necessary for the functioning of preschool organization. The thesis is focused on the possibilities in the management of the intergenerational programmes. The aim of the thesis is to analyze the issue of intergenerational learning from the point of view of the management of educational institutions and to create a proposal of methodology for intergenerational programs management. The first part discusses the management in general, educational management and the characterization and classification of educational institutions and the scope of non-profit organizations. It also deals with lifelong learning and defines intergenerational learning as one of its forms. It deals with the categorization of intergenerational learning and the definition of its linkage in formal, non-formal and informal learning.
