This thesis focuses on proposing further development strategy for a company that operates a small Mexican bistro and a food truck in Brno. The theoretical section defines key concepts and insights regarding the development of small businesses. The analytical part applies selected research and analytical methods to data obtained from both primary and secondary sources, providing an evaluation of the current situation of the company. The proposal section concentrates on suggesting a specific strategy and its assessment.

Bakalářská práce se zaměřuje na řízení předání moci v malém rodinném podniku Schmidt Reality. Nejdříve definuje a vysvětluje základní pojmy související s procesem předání moci a řízením rodinných podniků. Dále se podrobně zaměřuje na specifika a výzvy spojené s předáním vedení v malých rodinných podnicích, zejména v realitním sektoru. V práci jsou prováděny strategické analýzy zaměřené na optimální přístupy k předání moci, s cílem zajistit hladký přechod a udržet kontinuitu a stabilitu podniku v rámci realitního odvětví.

The theoretical part of the thesis is aimed at explaining the basic concepts related to business plan, entrepreneurship, and e-commerce. The analytical part includes an analysis of the micro and macro environment of the business, marketing research and will provide the necessary information for the practical part of the bachelor thesis. The practical part is devoted to developing a suitable plan into a business plan and assessing the suitability of implementing.
Proposal for Changes of Human Resource Management in a Company

This thesis examines the current state of employee satisfaction in a small business in relation to human resource management. The theoretical part of the thesis focuses on definitions and explanations of key concepts such as work motivation, job satisfaction, engagement and dedication, which are necessary to understand the context of the issue. The analytical part of the thesis presents the results of a qualitative research conducted through interviews with employees to examine their satisfaction with their current management. Finally, based on the analysis of the interviews, the thesis provides specific recommendations for the company management on how to improve the working environment and increase employee satisfaction in the form of recommendations for possible changes and improvements in the current personnel management system.
Managerial Competencies in Small Enterprises

The dissertation thesis dealt with the managerial competencies in the small manufacturing enterprises in the Czech Republic. The research aimed to examine the current level of these competencies on the sample of top managers of those enterprises. The chosen topic is topic of current importance due the competency development for enhancing the managerial performance. The thesis elaboration was based on the detailed literature review of national and international publications in the respected scientific journals, and on the in-depth analyses conducted through the primary researches. The main objective of the dissertation thesis was to detect the competency level of top managers in the small manufacturing enterprises in the context of business management and to identify the key variables influencing the discovered competency level and on the basis of research findings provide recommendations for further competency development. The main objective was supported with four partial objectives and five research hypotheses. On the basis of results of executed pilot research on managerial competencies the model of managerial competencies was established, and further verified in the author’s primary research. Within the data analysis and data evaluation, the competency level was formed. The dependences of competencies on examined variables were tested empirically. Those variables were sex, length of current and total practice, age, ownership and education. The aggregated research results were compared with the literature review and based on this comparison, the recommendations for further managerial competency level improvement were provided. The conclusions and further research aims form the integral part of the dissertation thesis.
Implementing BIM to the Small Scale Company in the Czech Republic

The topic and the aim of the thesis is to define BIM characteristics, the pros and cons of BIM implementation and the development of BIM situation in the Czech Republic. Current situation is analysed in selected regions due to a newly arising situation of a possible use of public procurement by BIM methods. Simultaneously are examined current pros and cons of implementing BIM in companies. Based on a knowledge and results of the survey is created a potential scheme of a process needed by implementing BIM into the small-scale company.

The main output is the design of various potential strategic directions of development that would lead to the maintenance and improvement of the current competitiveness.

The research is primarily based on questionnaires, collecting data on the size of the market and the type and range of the services required. The business plan is designed mainly for self-employed individuals with trade licence. Also, the dissertation is accompanied with financial assessment of the business plan.
