The role of collegial sharing in prevention of burnout syndrome in beginning elementary school teachers

"This master's thesis focuses on the role of collegial sharing as a prevention strategy against the development of burnout syndrome among beginning teachers in elementary schools. The aim of the thesis is to analyze how collegial sharing can contribute to protecting beginning teachers from burnout and what its benefits are in terms of professional development and psychological well-being. The thesis also focuses on identifying risk factors associated with the teaching profession and their impact on the development of burnout syndrome. Qualitative methods, specifically semi-structured interviews with beginning teachers, were used in the research section. Respondents were selected based on convenience sampling, with the respondents being beginning teachers at primary schools. The collected data were analyzed through thematic analysis, using coding and identification of key themes. The research results showed that collegial sharing plays an important role in creating a supportive environment for beginning teachers. Colleagues become important sources of support, sharing experiences, and advice. The thesis is focused on collaboration, cooperativeness, and mutual communication of teachers that represents one of the key pillars of the successful process of education. The cooperation of teachers is very important in the new conception of the school education program as well as in fulfilling cross-sectional topics and interdisciplinary relationships. The theoretical part describes basic terms, teacher's personality, his (her) roles and profession competencies, authorities and reputation of the teacher. The theoretical part also features information regarding collaboration of teachers in general, typical forms of the collaboration, deals with the role of school in teachers' collaboration. The aim of the empirical part is to map a topic of collaboration and cooperativeness among high school teachers. An additional aim is to analyze whether the cooperativeness and collaboration represents a benefit for high school teachers, and, eventually what might hinder such collaboration. Continuity of Education in Kindergartens and Primary Schools in Central Bohemia Region

This master thesis focuses on the topical theme which is currently gaining momentum, i.e. continuity or connection of the educational process in kindergartens and primary schools. The purpose of this work is to highlight the necessity of cooperation among kindergartens and primary schools in the following educational process, outline the possibilities, limits and pitfalls of this collaboration together with the role of school management. The aim of the master thesis is to determine on the basis of expert sources and empirical investigation how and whether currently proceeds such a cooperation within the continuity of education in kindergartens and primary schools. This work also proposes on the basis of the findings of facts measures and other procedures that could contribute to the positive development of cooperation among kindergartens and primary schools following training.

This graduation thesis is focused on the issues of cooperation between teachers at the elementary school. The theoretical part is occupied with concept attributes of school like teaching organization and also is dedicated to factors which noticeably influence the cooperation of teachers in the school. The empirical part has character of more case studies which discuss the strong and weak parts of the cooperation between teachers which were researched at four elementary schools.
Collegiality and Individuality at School

This bachelor thesis deals with the relation between individuality and collegiality among pedagogical staff of vocational schools in the Czech Republic. It recognizes the ambivalence of these terms. It describes elements, which act contradictorily and whose influence is to be suppressed, as well as elements, which on the contrary can effectively boost mutual interconnectedness of these fundamental principles and therefore lead to improvement of the quality of education. The theoretical part is a literature search of available resources dealing with the topic in specialized books and journals. This part was enriched by the author's own point of view on the matter and revised with respect to the conclusions from the research. The research is a record of six in-depth interviews with selected teachers from vocational schools in Central Bohemia region. These interviews were carried out by the author according to her own scenario which can be found in the appendix. The output from these interviews is a description of the real functioning of vocational schools (primarily their pedagogical staff) from the point of view of the respondents.
