Application for Recognition of Human Eye Retina
Drozd, Radek ; Hájek, Josef (referee) ; Drahanský, Martin (advisor)
The blood vessels layout in a human eye retina is unique for every person in the world, so it is one of important biometric characteristics. Processing of colour retina image may be a part of an intended biometric system. There is an algorithm for automatic blood vessels detection, optic disc and macula localisation, finding of bifurcation points and saving those as a biometric template presented in this bachelor's thesis. C++ programming language and OpenCV library were used for implementation. The application was tested on a set of colour retina images, taken by fundus camera. The final application is supposed to run on a digital signal processor, developed by Texas Instruments. The thesis gives the introduction into biometrics, signal processing and human eye anatomy.
Marketing systems of construction SMEs
Muškát, Petr ; Vejtasa, Jan (referee) ; Dohnal, Radek (advisor)
The main objective of this thesis is to create an effective database system, which also serves as a source of information. The proposed system aims to facilitate and simplify the clarity of internal company information, about customers but also their employees. Then there is also the possibility to control workforce planning for individual contracts and globally but also meeting their the deadlines. We can notforget the marketing approach of the company and its public promotion.
Adaptive Sampling of Input Packets Implemented in FlowMon Probe
Kaštovský, Petr ; Martínek, Tomáš (referee) ; Kořenek, Jan (advisor)
There is a FlowMon probe being developed in a Libeouter project that is used for passive network measurements. The probe has better stability and accuracy than sofware based solutions even under a heavy load or network attack. To guarantee a precision of results there is a need to data reduction to prevent measuring system overload. There are few kinds of data reduction. Method used in the FlowMon probe is called sampling. Adaptive sampling unit sets the sampling rate (rate of processed and discarded packets) according to actual state of measured network.
Data Analysis and Clasification from the Brain Activity Detector
Ullrich, Petr ; Šůstek, Martin (referee) ; Szőke, Igor (advisor)
This thesis deals with the issue of recording brain activity, implementation of its processing, analysis and classification. The OpenBCI hardware is used for recording. I have studied and described necessary information about recording brain activity and OpenBCI project. Design for data set, data processing and thoughts classification was created. Created system allows classification based on recorded brain activity. The neural network was used for classfication, but the success of the recognition of designed classes was not high.
Detection and Vizualization of Features in a Point Cloud
Kratochvíl, Jiří Jaroslav ; Mikeš, Josef (referee) ; Martišek, Dalibor (referee) ; Procházková, Jana (advisor)
The point cloud is an unorganized set of points with 3D coordinates (x, y, z) which represents a real object. These point clouds are acquired by the technology called 3D scanning. This scanning technique can be done by various methods, such as LIDAR (Light Detection And Ranging) or by utilizing recently developed 3D scanners. Point clouds can be therefore used in various applications, such as mechanical or reverse engineering, rapid prototyping, biology, nuclear physics or virtual reality. Therefore in this doctoral Ph.D. thesis, I focus on feature detection and visualization in a point cloud. These features represent parts of the object that can be described by the well--known mathematical model (lines, planes, helices etc.). The points on the sharp edges are especialy problematic for commonly used methods. Therefore, I focus on detection of these problematic points. This doctoral Ph.D. thesis presents a new algorithm for precise detection of these problematic points. Visualization of these points is done by a modified curve fitting algoritm with a new weight function that leads to better results. Each of the proposed methods were tested on real data sets and compared with contemporary published methods.
IP Flow Filtration and Profiling
Sedlák, Michal ; Tisovčík, Peter (referee) ; Kučera, Jan (advisor)
This thesis addresses the problem of filtering and profiling IP flows, primarily data of IPFIXsystems. Within the work, a general filtering component is designed and implemented, whichaims to be sufficiently efficient and flexible for use in other projects related to IP flows. Thiscomponent is then adapted to work with data in the IPFIX protocol format and integratedinto the existing modular collector IPFIXcol2 in the form of plugins adding the support forfiltering of passing IPFIX data and their sorting into profiles.
Information Retrieval in Czech Wikipedia
Balgar, Marek ; Bartík, Vladimír (referee) ; Chmelař, Petr (advisor)
The main task of this Masters Thesis is to understand questions of information retrieval and text classifi cation. The main research is focused on the text data, the semantic dictionaries and especially the knowledges inferred from the Wikipedia. In this thesis is also described implementation of the querying system, which is based on achieved knowledges. Finally properties and possible improvements of the system are talked over.
Administration of development documetation over WWW II
Gregárek, Ondřej ; Sysel, Petr (referee) ; Balík, Miroslav (advisor)
Document server is a web application controllable by way of web browser. It is meant to serve for the management of development documentation. The application is divided to the four basic parts: Requirements, Products, Tests and Test Run. The section Requirements serves for inserting requirements for products. Product is produced on the basis of these needs and registered in part Products. Test setting is created in the part Tests according to requirements from the part Requirements. Particular products are then tested. The part Test Run registers records of these tests. These are parts of the application: management of users, connecting supplements to records, printing and exportation of data to different formats, saving history of records, filtration and sorting of entries, etc. All the data is saved in the database MySQL. The application is written in scripting language PHP. Data is presented by template system Smarty. The output is in language XHTML. Cascading style CSS is used to formatting. This work describes development of the application. First it is dealing with the proposal of the database, connection and structure of particular tables. The function of the programme is explained in detail at the same time, which is essential for the correct proposal of the database. The application is based on the database. The selected structure of files and relations of scripts to library functions are shown. The template system and the interface for access of the programme to the database are explained. The most attention is paid to the description of solving important functions of the application, i.e. listing of records, their pagination, filtration, sorting and operation with them: saving, browsing, copying, confirmation and work with history, category and problems by upkeep of consistent tree and export of data to various formats. It is always outlined the problem, the idea of solving and the description of appropriate scripts. Samples of source code are also included for better understanding of complicated algorithms.
Censorship in the Internet
Tomaga, Jakub ; Rychlý, Marek (referee) ; Očenášek, Pavel (advisor)
{This Diploma thesis deals with Internet censorship. Various technical solutions for Internet censorship are presented together with censorship analysis options. Several possibilities for blocked content access and censorship circumvention in general are discussed. The topic is analyzed from the global point of view and is related to the People's Republic of China.
Rendering of Voxel-Based Scenes Using Real-Time Ray Tracing
Menšík, Jakub ; Milet, Tomáš (referee) ; Matýšek, Michal (advisor)
The aim of this work was to create a program to visualize voxel scenes in real time using ray tracing. It included the study of various methods of such a rendering with a focus on shadows. The solution was created using Unity engine and experimental packages Unity Jobs and Burst. The thesis presents multiple ray tracing passes and SVGF technique, that is used to turn a noisy input into full edge-preserving image. The final program is able to render hard shadows, soft shadows, and ambient occlusion at speed of fifty frames per second.
