Suggestions for Improving Motivation in the Selected Company

The thesis is divided into 2 parts. The first theoretical part contains the theoretical aspect of the target issue related to employee motivation and motivational factors, where I present the basic knowledge in these areas, which helps to further develop the work. The practical part contains an evaluation of the current situation of the company in terms of employee motivation through a survey. Taking into account the results and findings, I then develop a proposal for improving employee motivation in the company, which can be used by the company in practice to increase employee productivity.

The second part analyzes the current state of the company's rewarding system, drawing on academic literature. The third part of the thesis includes changes and improvements of the current rewarding system, which will lead to higher employee satisfaction.

In my bachelor's thesis I deal with suggestions for improving the company's motivational system. I specify the basic concepts related to motivation, incentive program and employee remuneration. On the basis of the analysis, carried out by means of a questionnaire survey, I evaluate the data obtained and identify the shortcomings of the motivational program. At the end of the thesis, I suggests specific changes to the company's motivational system that would help the company to increase employee´s motivation and satisfaction. These proposed changes include the introduction of Sick days, monthly bonuses, flexible working hours, team building events and non-financial rewards.

The bachelor thesis focuses on the proposition of changes to the concept of motivational program within a selected company. The thesis contains theoretical backgrounds, the analysis of the current state, and its proposals of changing the company’s motivational system. The analysis results showed that the employees are satisfied with the workplace conditions and their job positions. They are dissatisfied with the salary, communication with the superiors, the lack of opportunities for professional growth, and also with the number of benefits. Among the proposals are new benefits, such as the introduction of ‘sick days’, contributions to life insurance, and contributions to a long-term investment product. The recommendations include praise and use of internal human resources.
