Hýblerová, Karolína ; Sotáková, Hana (advisor) ; Presslerová, Pavla (referee)
In my master thesis, I deal with the specific development of two-year-old children. Specifically, physical, cognitive, social and emotional development. The second to third chapters focus on the history of the inclusion of two-year-olds in preschool, experts' opinions on whether it is appropriate for children to enter preschool at the age of two, and what options exist in the country for the inclusion of two-year-olds. The fourth chapter looks at the options available to parents in the Czech Republic when they want to place their two-year-old child in pre-school. The last - fifth chapter deals with adaptation as such. The practical part of the master thesis begins by setting the objectives, which are to analyse the adaptation plan of a particular children's group, to find out how the adaptation period is going for the 11 children from the particular children's group who were involved in the research. Last but not least, the research aims to figure out what could make the adaptation to the children's group easier for two-year- old children and their parents. In order to accomplish my goals, I drew on children's group attendance records, questionnaires from the children's parents, and most importantly, my participant observation. I also address general quality standards as well as the quality...
Discursive analysis of political communication in the discussion of the amendment to Act No. 329/2021 on the provision of childcare in the 2017-2021 electoral period
Černá, Jitka ; Hejzlarová, Eva (advisor) ; Angelovská, Olga (referee)
Children's groups are one of the effective family policy tools for reconciling family and working life. At the same time, within the current system of pre-school care in the Czech Republic, they supplement the insufficient capacity of kindergartens. In 2014, Act No. 247/2014 Coll. on children's groups was approved, which basically defined the conditions and standards in which children's groups operate. Tools for reconciling family and working life, which include children's groups, came to the fore following the adoption of the European Directive 2019/1158 on work-life balance. Children's groups were funded by the European Operational Programme Employment, but this could only be drawn on until 2022. Therefore, in 2021, the Chamber of Deputies of the Parliament of the Czech Republic discussed the need to reconsider the funding of children's groups and, at the same time, to revise the conditions for running children's groups. The thesis aims to investigate the communication strategies of political actors on the topic of children's groups using the method of discursive analysis, at the same time comparing the communication of children's groups with the way of communication of other topics from the remit of social affairs in the election programmes of the then parliamentary parties in the 2017 and 2021...

Šustová, Petra ; Horáková Hoskovcová, Simona (advisor) ; Morávková Krejčová, Lenka (referee)
This thesis deals with group development and aggression in child's group. In the first charter, key group characteristics are introduced together with theoretical basis of group development. I focused especially on group structure, group dynamics and group norms. Second chapter is devoted to specifics of child's group. Aggression in group of children, especially class, is described in the third charter. The most important part of this thesis is chapter four. There I tried to identify risk phases in group development, which can contribute to increasing aggression in group of children. Final part of this thesis consists of research project that is focused on comparison of aggression and victimization between phase forming and phase storming.
Involvement of employers in the provision of care for preschool children in the Czech Republic
Rumanová, Jana ; Dobiášová, Karolína (advisor) ; Kotrusová, Miriam (referee)
My thesis deals with the involvement of employers in the provision of child care services in the Czech republic, their legislative options, motivations, and challenges associated with providing these services. In addition to the so-called. "firm" kindergartens governed by the School Low, recently there was established new child care in children's groups. I try to describe and explain the process of creating this new legislation using optics of Multiple Streams Theory. The conducted expert interviews and interviews with representatives of employers helped me with the identification of external motivations and influences mainly from the state and the surrounding environment and internal factors directly related to the organization. Problem areas mainly concern the establishment of the service and its sustainability. At the conclusion of the thesis, there are formulated recommendations that could help a greater involvement of employers in the provision of childcare services.

Analysis of supply of pre-school education with focus on children´s groups in the Czech Republic in 2010 - 2015
Rašpličková, Veronika ; Bartůsková, Lucia (advisor) ; Barák, Vladimír (referee)
As more women work on hire positions, they start realizing the impact of maternity to their career (Höhne, 2010). To satisfy their needs high supply of pre-school education and its variability and flexibility is needed. Act no. 247/2014 Coll. is trying to react to the situation of inadequate supply. The main aim of this work is to compare situation before and after this law and its consequences as far we can evaluate now. Using primary and secondary data thesis will state if there is scale of those services wide enough and if there is additional need to create more places for pre-school education and if there are changes in supply caused by the law. Conclusion is, that creation of childrens group, which were created because of this law, didnt have such a big impact on supply of pre-school education. Moreover, many of them exists only because of funding from EU.
