Modification of bat-and-ball games for students of Jedlička Institute and Schools

Title: Modification of bat-and-ball games for students of Jedlička Institute and Schools Objective: Verification of the possibility of including the practice of modified bat-and-ball games in a suitable way in physical health education (hereinafter PHE) classes in the Jedlička Institute for students with various types of disability (physical, mental, sensory). The aim of this work is to design and create a battery of modified training exercises for bat-and-ball games. It is also to analyze the realization and effectiveness of these exercises in developing skills. Finally, this paper evaluates the research. Method: As part of the research, a methodology was created for the adaptation of bat-and- ball games training for students of the Jedlička Institute. In the Spring of 2023 to PHE lessons in 11 classes, 63 students were participated and the research was done under the supervision of a teacher. During the first lesson of PHE, a specially created lesson of adapted bat-and- ball games was included, in which the students tried out individual game skills. Name: Inclusion of corrective exercise in PE lessons and their influence on posture and plantarflexion on 2nd primary school girls Research problem: According to the available literature, it is obvious that the posture of school-aged children is worse and worse. In addition, the subject Health Physical Education, which should compensate for these emerging health problems, is hardly taught anymore. This work proposes a solution to include exercises from program Healthy physical education to the lessons of regular physical education at the 2nd primary school and thus support the posture and the quality of the foot arch in pupils. Aim: The aim of the work is to find out the effect of the inclusion of healthy physical education to the PE lessons in 2nd primary school students on body posture and foot arch. Methods: It is a quasi-experiment where the participants were divided into a tested and a control group. There were 2 measurements - initial and final. Between them exercises from prohram Healthy physical education were included to PE lessons in tasted group for a period of 3 months. Body posture in preschool children

Name: Posture in preschool children Objectives: The aim of the work is to investigate the effect of movement intervention on the posture of preschool children. Methods: The empirical work is designed as a one-group quasi-experiment. It is a qualitative research where the effect of an exercise program with elements of health exercises on the posture of preschool children was investigated. The participants were 6 children (4 girls, 2 boys) aged 5-6 years. The research was conducted at FUTURUM FAMILY and BENJAMINEK Kindergarten o.p.s. For the entrance and exit examinations, was used four different posture tests. Specifically, Matthias test, Thomayer test, Trendelenburg-Duchenne test and Jaroš / Lomíček posture test. Results: The results showed that in all methods was an improvement in posture in at least two probands. The greatest improvement occurred in the Thomayer test and in the Trendelenburg-Duchenne test, where five probands improved. Title: Health physical education in the Czech and Slovak educational systems Objectives: The aim of the diploma thesis is to provide a comprehensive view of the issue of health physical education (HPE) in the Czechia and Slovakia, its specifics, historical development and current state. The sub-goals of the work were to establish international cooperation for obtaining information regarding health physical education in Slovakia and to establish a framework for the provision of physical education in the Czechia and Slovakia, as well as the personal attitudes of those involved in the pedagogical process in relation to HPE. Methods: This thesis has a mixed nature with a predominance of theoretical concepts, which has a descriptive analytical character. The approach of analysing literary sources best suited the needs of the work. In addition, a questionnaire survey was conducted, in which the research sample consisted of primary and secondary school teachers in Czechia and Slovakia. The survey was conducted online through two non-standardized questionnaires created according to the specifics of the target group. Self-efficacy of UK FTVS students for teaching health physical education

Title of the thesis: Self-efficacy of UK FTVS students for teaching health physical education The aim of the thesis: The aim of the bachelor's thesis was to evaluate the level of self-efficacy or subjectively perceived competences and professional self-confidence of students in the final master's year of physical education at the UK FTVS in relation to the teaching of health physical education. The partial goal was to compare the results with previous research by Anna Šubertová (Šubertová, 2020). Methods: For the investigation with the character of mixed empirical research, a self-constructed questionnaire was used to collect data, which was created on the basis of revising Šubertová's (2020) previous research instrument. The research was carried out in May and June 2023, with the participation of 68 respondents of the final year of the follow-up master's studies in Applied Physical Education and Sport for People with Specific Needs and Physical Education Teaching for Secondary Schools at the UK FTVS. The participants were represented by 30 men and 38 women in the age range from 23 to 35 years. Body posture of pre-school children

This bachelor thesis deals with frequent occurence of the faulty posture among preschool children. Occurrence of children with faulty posture is unfortunately a growing trend. The first traces of muscular imbalances can be already found among preschool children. Faulty posture is a health problem which can result in a serious consequences. It is important to prevent this problem already at preschool age. The work inculdes theoretical and practical part. Theoretical part inculdes description of muscular system and body movement (human kinetics), correct posture and typical deviations from proper posture. Practical part is about my own research I made in a group of preschool children and the subsequent detection of a faulty posture in this group.
Determination of the occurrence of poor posture and muscle imbalance of female students aged 15-19 and possibilities of influencing that by elements of health physical education

Title: Determination of the occurrence of poor posture and muscle imbalance of female students agend 15-19 and possibilities of influencing that by elements of health physical education. Objectives: The aim of this study is determination of change in posture and muscle imbalance due to regural health exercise for the period of 3 months Methods: Klein, Thomas and Mayer test method was used to determine posture of each proband. Functional tests of muscles with tendency to shorten were performed according to Bursová (2005), Hošková and Matoušová (2000), Pernicová et al. (1993). Functional tests of muscles with a tendency to become flabby were tested according to Hošková and Matoušová (2000). The method of theoretical analysis and synthesis was used for the chapter "Piece of knowledge" (Štumbauer, 1990). The chapter "Knowledge of data" was processed by Microsoft Office Excel. One-piece non-parametric Wilcoxon test was used to verify the results. Results: In the chapter "Results" we find detailed information about probands, which we have gained from the questionnaire and from a personal interview. Each proband is discussed and evaluated by means of testing posture and muscle imbalance.
