This thesis is dealing with the issue of women in leading positions and possibilities of work – life balance in a selected organization. It is focused on the situation of women in the company and the influence of parenthood on career. Through the use of selected methods the attitudes of employees to managers with children and approaches of managers and manageresses to the issue of harmonization of work and family are analyzed.

This diploma thesis is focused on suggesting a motivational system for chosen company. First part of the thesis results from theoretical findings concerning the given issue that were processed on the basis of professional literature. The analytical part deals with society itself and analysis of current motivational system on the basis of internal company sources and questionnaire survey. Last part of the thesis contains individual suggestions that should contribute to the improvement of the current state of the motivational system and total employee satisfaction.

This work describes finding which motivational factors influence higher working performance in the company T-Mobile Czech Republic a.s. I was interested in the reasons whitch result in poor working motivation and how is possible this situation make better. I realized a questionnaire interview. My conclusion is that financial motivation in this company is sufficient but desire for powerful leade isn't.

The bachelor's thesis is focused on human resources management, styles and tools of management and motivation in the chosen company. The theoretical part describes the basic concepts related to human resources management and employee motivation from a general point of view, which have been elaborated from a number of professional publications. The literature search is the starting point for the practical part in which the company's incentive system is described. A questionnaire has been prepared to evaluate the management style and employee motivation in order to increase the efficiency of the company's work. Before the conclusion of the bachelor's thesis, proposals for adjustments to the human resources management style and recommendations to increase the efficiency of the company's employees' work performance are given.
Analysis of Manager's Approach to Leading People

The bachelor thesis deals with the issue of leading people in the environment of small and medium-sized enterprises, specifically in academic start-ups and spin-offs. Using a questionnaire survey, it investigates what leadership style is most used by managers in this group of enterprises, also considering the set criteria. The pilot research shows that the most used leadership style is transformational leadership, and that there are also characteristics that when a manager possesses, his leadership is more effective. Based on these characteristics, the thesis proposes a so-called matrix of manager's characteristics.
Specifics of bilingual school management

This bachelor's thesis deals with the specifics of managing a bilingual school. The goal of the thesis was to find out what the specifics of bilingual school management are in the area of people management and management of the pedagogical process in comparison to a traditional school. To create this thesis, the method of studying professional domestic and foreign literature and other available sources was used. Thanks to this method, it was found out what the differences are between the management of traditional and bilingual schools. The work is divided into a theoretical part and a practical part. The theoretical part focuses on the basic conceptual definition related to the researched issue, based on professional literature. The first chapters define school management, further characterize the school director, his assumptions and competences. This is followed by a chapter dedicated to managing people, managing human resources and managing pedagogical processes. The final chapters of the theoretical part are devoted to defining bilingualism, its division and bilingual education in the territory of the Czech Republic, including its basic principles and goals.
