The thesis entitled On-line teaching of pupils in the first year of primary school deals with the issue of on-line teaching of pupils in the first grades of primary school. The aim of the thesis is to compare this issue from the perspective of class teachers, parents and pupils who have received on-line teaching. In the theoretical part, the thesis deals with topics such as the characteristics of a pupil in the first year of primary school, both psychologically and physically. The general principles of working with a pupil in the first year of primary school are described. In addition, the methods and forms of work used in the regular school classroom for teaching reading and writing. The thesis also describes the basic topics such as online teaching, distance learning and the present form of teaching. The thesis also discusses programs and applications that are suitable for the online form of teaching in the first year of primary school. The practical part, using the research method of semi-structured interviews, deals with the risks and especially the benefits of online teaching in the first grades of primary school from the perspective of three different groups of respondents who have participated in the form of online teaching. Design 3D Catalog for Company
Hubert, Michal ; Luhan, Jan (referee) ; Němcová, Zuzana (advisor)
The subject of the thesis is the area of on-line 3D catalogues. In the first part, the basics of computer graphics and 3D modelling are summarized. The following part of the text focuses on the product catalogue of a certain company - S&K KONTAKT - and performs its analysis. Based on the analysis, several options are proposed how to transform the current company's presentation into an interactive 3D catalogue with the goal of distinguishing oneself from the competition and addressing new customers.

Options and forms of on-line testing for English classes at elementary school.
ČERNÝ, Ondřej
The goal of this thesis is to introduce on-line testing platforms for English teaching at the second level of primary school using different platforms and evaluating the differences between on-line testing and classic paper writing. The main theoretical part is focused on creating methodically and didactically correct tests. The functions of the platforms are then further analysed in order for each teacher to choose the platform that fits the requirements. The practical part of the thesis concentrates on manuals for creating tests and their try out during English classes at the second level of primary school. Furthermore, the thesis contains sets of English tests which can be used as a feedback for students, practise or their assesment. These tests were verified during regular lessons at the second level of primary school.
Distance practical teaching and learning
Zdobinská, Helena ; Janštová, Vanda (advisor) ; Jedličková, Tereza (referee)
This diploma thesis describes practical activities and related topics during forced distant education due to COVID-19 pandemic. In the theoretical part of thesis, the distant education is defined. I also described some of its features, which includes absence of physical contact, use of communication platforms, synchrony and asynchrony form of lesson, need for some degree of independence and digital competence. Anonymous questionnaires were made to collect the data from students and their science subjects' teachers (biology, chemistry, and physics). The questions were with free answers, closed answers with choices or scale values. Respondents consisted of 543 students and 24 teachers from Prague and Central Bohemian Region. The answers were categorized and frequencies calculated. The values of numeric answers such as mean, median, minimum and maximum were measured. The relationship between data was analysed by Pearson's chi squared test of independence. This study shows that teachers used practical activities such as experiments, observation or creating something less in distance lessons, compared to their face to face lessons. On the contrary tasks based on text work were used more often. The analysis showed that students preferred tasks containing creating something. Most teachers taught in both...
Media and digital technologies in primary school education
Novák, Jakub ; Wolák, Radim (advisor) ; Lucký, Jakub (referee)
The end of the twentieth century is the beginning of significant development in the area of digital technologies. Modern technologies make our everyday life easier, they enable us to work more effectively, and they are a source of fun for all the age groups. Modern technologies have a great impact on us and our environment and thus they deserve our attention. Children, who are in everyday contact with modern technologies since the day they were born, are an especially sensitive group exposed to modern technologies. Thus this thesis aims to investigate whether Czech primary schools are aware of these digital changes in society and whether they react to these. In the theoretical part, an overview of the digital world (media, cyberspace, virtual reality) and the state of equipment at schools is being mapped. The research then focuses on using technologies in everyday life at schools. It concentrates on computer literacy of teachers at public elementary schools in Prague 7, their attitude to digital technologies, and their readiness to adapt to the fast pace of technological innovations.
Vektorový screencast
Rozsíval, Šimon ; Děcký, Martin (advisor) ; Lokoč, Jakub (referee)
The goal of this bachelor thesis is to create a software for recording and playback of educational videos for Khanova škola (Czech clone of Khan Academy). Contrary to common videos the visual data is not stored as a sequence of bitmaps, but as vectors. This allows to reduce the data bandwidth and playback sharp images in any target resolution. The player and also the tool for recording the videos runs in a web browser. The thesis also focuses on designing and implementing a suitable file format for storing the visual and audio data and implementing the software according to the client/server paradigm. Atmospheric aerosol in high time resolution
Makeš, Otakar ; Schwarz, Jaroslav (advisor) ; Hůnová, Iva (referee) ; Mikuška, Pavel (referee)
Over the last decades, it has become clear that the size and chemical composition of atmospheric aerosol (AA) has a major impact on both human health and a number of processes in the atmosphere. Although there are increasing efforts to describe the behavior of AA, many phenomena are still not sufficiently understood to be able to predict aerosol behavior and associated phenomena to a satisfactory degree. This PhD thesis describes aerosol behavior at high temporal resolution within three main topics. The first topic is the description of the chemical and size composition of the non-refractory PM1 (NR-PM1) fraction at the Prague - Suchdol suburban station and the study of the influence of meteorological phenomena on the behavior of this aerosol. In order to identify seasonal effects, measurements were carried out in summer and winter. Positive Matrix Factorization (PMF) analysis was performed in connection with the aerosol description at the station, which identified chemically resolved mass profiles of aerosol sources and their temporal evolution. The second topic is the penetration of aerosol particles from the outdoor to the indoor environment. The influence of particle size and chemical composition on the penetration of particles from the outdoor to the indoor environment was investigated by...
