Managerial functions and delegation of managerial functions in a consolidated kindergarten in Prague

This bachelor thesis elaborates on managerial functions and their delegation. It focuses on delegation of privileges, competencies and responsibilities from director of joint kindergarten to deputy who manages detached site. This is exclusively schools that were established by consolidating of several independent kindergartens. Theoretical part of the thesis is based on specialized literature. Research part contains analysis of questionnaire which was conducted on 10 consolidated kindergartens in Prague and focused on delegation of director's competencies. Directors and their deputies managing the detached sites participated in the questionnaire. Author of this thesis answers the question, which of the managerial competencies are appropriate for delegation in the detached site.

Title: Management Comparison of JKA Sports Karate Association in the Czech Republic and Abroad Goals: This thesis deals with the problematic of management in sports karate organizations in selected European countries. The aim is to give suggestions for management improvement in selected organizations. The suggestions will be based on an analysis of managerial functions and subsequent comparison of Czech and foreign organizations. Methods: For this thesis I used the methods of structured non-standardized interview, descriptive analysis, SWOT analysis and comparison. Results: The results of the thesis are proposals for implementation in problematic parts of each organization. The changes are proposed in managerial functions of planning, organizing and staffing and improvement of sponsorship and promotional activities. Nursery School Management in Central Bohemia - Managerial Functions

The topic of this thesis is the management system of kindergartens in Central Bohemia from the perspective of applying managerial functions. Due to legislative changes, kindergartens were more or less given considerable autonomy imposing high requirements on their directors in the area of management. The quality of educational process of each kindergarten and its further development potential depends on its management. The research part focuses on strategic planning, communication system parameters, obligations of employees, task delegation, implementation of inspection activities and school evaluation system parameters. The aim of this thesis is to point out potential problems concerning the management of kindergartens as well as to compare large and small kindergartens in individual management areas.

Leadership styles of the school canteen managers

Thesis deals with the issue of people management and management styles of school canteens managers. The theoretical part of the thesis, based on the literature, deals mainly with the various ways of management, personality of the manager and his role in the team. The research took place among school canteens managers, which are part of the elementary schools, and provides an assessment of the cerrent situation. The aim of my work was to analyze the current used methods of management of school canteens managers and to propose optimal management style in school canteens at the basic school. The final thesis is focused on the managerial function of people management.

Headmaster in the role of manager, comparation of the situation in the Czech Republic and Republic Belarus

The bachelor thesis deals with the implementation of theoretical knowledge in the day-to-day decision-making process of the headmaster in the Czech Republic and Belarus based on the study of the information obtained. The aim of this bachelor thesis is to formulate identical and different characteristics of the activities of the headmaster in the role of manager in the Czech Republic and Belarus. This work, with regard to research questions, should show in detail the differences in the approach to managerial work of the headmaster in the conditions of the Czech Republic and Belarus with regard to legislation, customs and experience. The bachelor thesis examines the director's personal profile as a manager with all aspects of managerial work and determines the work of a manager with human resources in the primary school environment of both countries. The theoretical part summarizes the knowledge concerning the work of the headmaster in the Czech and Belarusian environment and verifies the predicted model by research in the school field. The aim of the research is to map and describe how managers of independent schools apply managerial skills in specific activities of school management, taking into account the conditions of these countries.
