Between Context and Craft
Kocmanová, Martina ; Velčovský, Maxim (referee) ; Klímová, Barbora (advisor)
The main topic of my work is question of craft in the connection with contemporary fine arts. The implementation of the work is based an open workshop for students of the Faculty of Fine Arts in Brno inside the building of the faculty in Údolní under the name DÍLNA MARTINY pro FaVU. In this place, I organize workshops of techniques , which I acquired during my past studies at the Faculty of Fine Arts in Brno. I try to pass on the experience with techniques, which I used for creation of my own works to my schoolmates. Because there is no official workshop in the Faculty of Fine Arts, DÍLNA is my critical response to the functionning of the school at the same time. I notice which studios are the students attending the workshops from. The process of the creation, preparation and course of the workshops as well as the interaction are important part of the project. I spread the information about workshops through the whole school by posters and by our studio´s internet website. Like this, I create a mental space for discussion. I review the problems of the craft from the other side, from the side of the artist, who teaches and creates matrix for new art pieces and ideas instead of creation of my own material work. The outcome of the work is the whole process – a school inside the school. It is a processual project of which author´s documentation and installation is the final outcome.

Nováková, Miroslava ; Klabíková Rábová, Tereza (advisor) ; Miessler, Jan (referee)
Since the beginning of the new millenium, the internet and its contents have developed and grown at a swift speed. Contemporary internet and its image are largely shaped by users themselves. By using a also porducing the content they help to shape it and are becoming produsers. The most well-known and widely used online space where users can post and share their own content is social networks. Another highly spread exampe of user-generated content is online discussions. Online discussions are entirely user-generated and at the same time have a huge impact on them. If we combine these two platforms, we get a space where almost anyone can comment on anything and indirectly influence a huge mass of people, and from here whole societies. It is precisely because of the huge reach of social networks and the discussions on them, that the question of how to control or regulate them arises. This thesis deals with discussions under articles published by the profiles of the news websites Novinky.cz and ČT24 on the social network Facebook. Discussions are view from two perspectives, namely from the point of view of the editors and from the point of view of the contributors. Based on research interviews with social media administrators of the selcted media, the thesis desribes what approach to control and...

Literary-didactic potential of "České nebe"
Jiskrová, Zuzana ; Peterka, Josef (advisor) ; Klumparová, Štěpánka (referee)
This thesis directly continues my bachelor thesis titled "What and Why do we laugh with Jára Cimrman at". The first, theoretical part, sums up the observation of the poetics of the plays of Jára Cimrman Theatre and subsequently proves them through interpretation of the last play of Smoljak & Svěrák called "České nebe". The first two chapters provide the theoretical base of knowledge for the four-hour-long lesson based on "České nebe" itself. Both these chapters mainly focus on the used humour and the character of Jára Cimrman, the Czech national genius, but also on related topics such as mystification, space-time, Czechness and composition. The second part of the thesis is then the main one which brings the theory into practice. "České nebe" as a play offers an enormous didactic potential which can be used to verify and deepen one's literacy. The didactic part includes a complex preparation for four lessons, for which it provides a basic introduction of Jára Cimrman Theatre and a summary of comedy techniques used by this theatre, which have a strong emphasis on parody. Mainly, though, it provides a brief insight into the opinions, values and the culturally-historical knowledge of a today's adolescent. The students had a chance to elect their own Czech heaven committee in their class and, by doing...

Sumcov, Jan ; Zicha, Zbyněk (advisor) ; Jirásková, Věra (referee)
This thesis describes the integral role of using dialogue and asking questions on second level of basic school. The theoretical part of the thesis aims to point out that guiding students to dialogue and asking questions is essential for the personal development of the individual and also for a deeper understanding of the curriculum. At the same time, based on available literature and research, it summarizes the basic principles and assumptions of the dialogical teaching method. In the second part of the thesis, the author attempts to reflect the findings and examples from his practice in the form of action research and to suggest some methods and procedures that can be used to support dialogical teaching. The author focuses mainly on the questions asked by students and compares his outputs with the theoretical background on which he is based. It examines the contexts and types of questions asked by students in full-time and distance learning and also suggests procedures for encouraging them to take active questions. The results show that students are able to ask questions in the classroom, however, in normal frontally arranged lessons, only a fraction of the, usually participate in speeches in this way. In this case, the possibility of asking questions in writing or encouraging students to...

Framing Autism in Selected Czech Media and Related Discussions
Zoubková, Alice ; Vochocová, Lenka (advisor) ; Nečas, Vlastimil (referee)
The diploma thesis focuses on how the topic of autism is framed in articles published on two Czech internet servers - iDnes.cz and Blesk.cz. However, it also deals with discussions under the various articles, in order to find out what frameworks are in the reader's contributions, and whether there are issues that extend the discourse that speaks of autism. In the theoretical part of the thesis is presented not only the diagnosis of disorders of the autistic spectrum, but also the problems of media representation of otherness or representation of autism in the media. It also includes a more detailed description of the two research methods used, namely discourse analysis and framing. The research section first presents the eleven specific frameworks defined in the articles, devoted to their qualitative evaluation as well as quantitative representation on individual servers in 2016 and 2017. The second half of the empirical part is devoted to the analyzed discussions. In this case, ten major frameworks, as well as their representation on the servers mentioned above, are further elaborated. In the discussion and in the final part of the thesis, the results are compared with the foreign researches, detailed and outlined the possibilities of further research on the given topic.
