Školová, Alena ; Trunda, Jiří (advisor) ; Mudd, Dana (referee)
The presented thesis addresses the topic of innovation corporate culture and instruments of measurement. The thesis is built systematically from the general to the specific. The first part deals with the general definition of culture and its characteristics, and further it is described the phenomenon of organizational culture with the elements, by which is determined. The last theoretical part is about the definition of a specific type of corporate culture, of which domain is to support long-term innovation capability. It is based on literature review on this topic. Then it is introduced several tools that try to measure innovation culture or similar concepts and these are commented in relation just to the definition of an innovation culture. The following part is research, which contains the results of the use of tools, which was developed by Rao and Weintraub (2013) and evaluation of this tool. This tool was applied to a company, by which business is consulting in the field of innovation and designing of new products and services. The research was conducted for the basic purpose of the tool - measuring the innovation corporate culture, but to evaluate the quality of the measurement instrument from the perspective of validity and from the methodology of the creation of the questionnaire, too. Ficek, Lukáš ; Mužíková, Jitka (advisor) ; Šnejdrová, Eva (referee)
Charles University, Faculty of pharmacy in Hradec Králové Department of: Pharmaceutical Technology Mentor: doc. PharmDr Jitka Mužíková, Ph. D Consultant: Mgr. Thao Tranová Student: Lukáš Ficek Title of Thesis: The preparation of tablets by laser sintering This work focuses on the preparation of orally dispersible tablets by selective laser sintering (SLS). The present project is a pilot study conducted on the 3D printer Sintratec Kit at the Department of Pharmaceutical Technology. SLS is a 3D printing method based on the fusion of powder particles using a laser beam that sinters the individual particles together in the layers of material.1-2 The matrix forming polymer used in work was Kollidon® VA64 which was combined with two pigments namely Candurin® Gold Sheen and NTX Ruby Red. In addition, mixtures of the polymer with a co-processed dry binder Prosolv® ODT G2 and a physical mixture of mannitol, silicified microcrystalline cellulose, and crospovidone at the concentrations of 20%, 40%, and 60% were used. The influence of printing parameters, especially laser speed, on tablet quality was tested. NTX Ruby Red pigment was selected for final tablet printing. The best powder formulation for optimal printing progress and high-quality properties of the orally dispersible tablets was the mixture of...
Storytelling according to the TAT in the State of Moderate Stress: The Effect of Defense Mechanisms on Coping with Moderate Stress.
Míčková, Martina ; Šípek, Jiří (advisor) ; Čáp, David (referee)
This diploma thesis is focused on storytelling in the state of moderate stress. The theoretical part includes an introduction to the issue of stress, defense mechanisms, Thematic Apperception Test and then explains in detail theory of defense mechanism according to Phebe Cramer and also Defense Mechanism Manual which is used for evaluation of TAT defenses. The aim of empirical part of this thesis is to find out whether moderate pain which is caused by the fact that participants holds their hand in front of them (in position of "staying power") has effect on number of occurrence of defense mechanisms in narratives according to TAT. The stories are narrated during the staying power position. The second aim is to verify whether number and quality of used defenses has effect on the duration of the staying power position. The simple regression analysis was used to find out that there is no significant relationship between number of used defense mechanisms and the level of experienced pain. However, it is shown that higher usage of defense mechanisms has positive effect on duration of staying power position. This effect is even stronger if only matured defense mechanisms are included in the model, which is projection and identification.

Binding of trace elements to colloids in MSW landfill leachates
Matura, Marek ; Ettler, Vojtěch (advisor) ; Pitter, Pavel (referee) ; Faimon, Jiří (referee)
1 SUMMARY The association of trace elements with colloids in leachates from closed and active municipal solid waste (MSW) was studied using the cascade filtration/ultrafiltration method. A study was carried out after long-term monitoring of seasonal variations of the leachate quality. Both landfills are situated in the vicinity of Prague and the closed landfill site represents a serious environmental risk for part of this city. In the first step, the evaluation of the long-term seasonal changes in the main and trace element contents in leachate from the closed landfill was performed and supplemented by investigation of precipitation/dissolution processes in the solid phases. It was shown that the quality of the leachate is strongly influenced by rain events, which are responsible for the dissolution of calcite and Fe oxides in the landfill body. This process leads to the release of Cu, Zn and Cd bound to these solid phases and to an increase in their concentrations in the leachate. The contents of the other element are significantly decreased by simple dilution. Therefore, the mobility of all the studied elements increases substantially during rain events. Monitoring of the seasonal variation in the leachate quality enabled us to determine the appropriate conditions for isolated sampling for studying the...

1 Abstrakt: This thesis has focused on customer satisfaction. Mainly there are described the attributes that significantly influence the satisfaction. The research is based on service quality of mobile phone operators in Czech Republic. The first part describes the relevant theories in psychology field about satisfaction in different context - life satisfaction, job satisfaction and mainly customer satisfaction. There is mentioned the problem with definition inconsistency among authors and then is provided details about service quality theories and customer satisfaction attributes categorization. Finally there is chapter that concerns about the difference between derived and stated importance of attributes. The research object are the customers that use mobile phone services from three main operators in Czech Republic. The output is derived importance of the attributes which is calculated by multiply regression.
An annotated translation: Natural Forms, in: Ethan Matt Kavaler, Renaissance Gothic. Architecture and the Arts in Northern Europe 1470 - 1540. New Haven and London: Yale University Press, 2012, pp. 199-229. (ISBN 978-0-300-16792-4)
Ramešová, Michaela ; Brotánková, Šárka (advisor) ; Kalivodová, Eva (referee)
(in English): The purpose of this bachelor thesis is to translate a part of the chapter Natural Forms from the book Renaissance Gothic. Architecture and the Arts in Northern Europe 1470 - 1540 written by Ethan Matt Kavaler, a Canadian professor of art history. In the commentary that follows the translation the author considers the specific factors that have influenced the genesis of the original. Then, she analyses its lexical and stylistic features and characterizes the text as an essay of considerable qualities. Drawing upon the analysis the author describes the translation problems and the translator's strategies employed to solve them. She attempts to identify the translation shifts and discusses the reasons of their occurrence. It is observed that the translation tends to be more explicit, uses more variable language solutions and some solutions of increased expressive intensity. This tendency is consistent with the effort to adapt the translation to the target language culture and to preserve the quality of the original.

These policies were supported by the United States came to be known as the Washington Consensus. This dissertation considers Brazil and Chile's adoption of neoliberal economic policies espoused by the Washington Consensus and to what extent it affected the quality of democracy in both countries. The dissertation will define neoliberal economic policy, Washington Consensus, American support for democracy, and quality of democracy from empirical research and using a study done by Daniel H Levine and Jose E Molina, "The Quality of Democracy in Latin America." The quality of democracy will be viewed from five perspectives: Electoral Process, Participation, Accountability, Responsiveness, and Sovereignty. 2
DNA damage response in mammalian oocytes
Vachová, Veronika ; Šolc, Petr (advisor) ; Nevoral, Jan (referee)
During early embryonic development oocytes are arrested in prophase I of the first meiotic division, in which they can persist for years. After reaching sexual maturity and the luteinizing hormon surge resumption of meiosis and meiotic maturation occur. Oocytes are arrested again at metaphase of the second meiotic division. At this stage they are ovulated and waiting for a fertilisation. Oocytes are during their development exposed to factors that cause DNA damage, of which DNA double-strand breaks (DSBs) are the most serious threat. The maintaining of genome integrity is crucial for quality of oocytes, fertility and proper embryonic development. The mechanism of the oocyte response to DSBs presence is not fully understood and it seems to differ from somatic cells. We assume that DSBs are repaired during meiotic maturation probably by a mechanism of homologous recombination (HR). In this thesis we focuse on essencial recombinase RAD51, which participates in the repair by HR. We found that RAD51 inhibition leads to an increase of segregation errors in anaphase I. Using high resolution live cell imaging we observed chromosomal fragments and anaphase bridges. Immunofluorescence detection of DSBs-marker γH2AX showed increased amount of DSBs in prophase I and MII stage after RAD51 inhibition. Our data...
