Quality of adult education in non-formal educational institutions

This thesis is focusing on the quality in adult education from the point of view of managers and clients of non-formal educational institutions. The aim of this thesis is to find out the conception quality in adult educations organisation from the point of view of managers and clients in non- formal educational institutions based on depth research with managers of non-formal educational institutions and clients of those institutions. Outcome of the research are going to be compared with existing quality management systems. In the theoretical part, the PEST analysis of the adult education in the Czech Republic is going to be created for a better understanding of trends and impacts in this area. After the analysis, there are going to be described quality management systems and the possibilities of their use. The main system that are going to be described are ISO norm, TQM, EFQM, CAF model, Rating of educational institutions and audit Qfor. Research is based on the depth semi-structured interviews with managers and clients while using design of the grounded theory. This diploma thesis deals with the strategic approach to employee training in an organization providing consultancy in the field of technical engineering and technical and economic consulting. Employee education and development is managed by a parent company based in the UK, and the company, aware of the achievement of the organization's strategy and vision, places a lot of emphasis on education. The aim of the diploma thesis is to evaluate the employee training strategy as one of the personnel activities leading to increasing the competitiveness of the organization and gaining a competitive advantage in the market. Understanding the importance of employees training is one of the basic aspects of an efficient organization and a well-defined strategy along with the HR strategy and, last but not least, the corporate education strategy leads to satisfaction both on the part of the organization and on the human resources side. Culture and climate of selected universities

This thesis was focused on culture and climate of selected public universities in the Czech Republic in the form stated in strategic materials. The goal was to analyse and compare key aspects of strategic materials of selected universities that influence their culture and climate. Selected strategic materials included vision, mission, values, long-term intent of the university and educational faculty, annual activity report and code of ethics. The sample consisted of eight universities whose part was an educational faculty. The method of quantitative content analysis was selected for the analysis of the documents. There were six priority areas identified through the analysis of the documents of the Ministry of Education and key words related to these priority areas. The analysis of university documents showed that organizational culture and climate are not much explicitly covered in their strategic documents, the most frequently emerging feature of organizational culture were values, therefore mainly aspects determining culture and climate were tracked. Quality of further education processes

The aim of this diploma thesis is to identify differences in the perception of the quality of further education processes from the viewpoint of the participant, the lecturer and the director of the educational institution. The partial aim of the thesis is to confirm or to rebut the hypothesis based on experience from one's own practice that the lector is the most important factor influencing the quality of further education processes. The theoretical part is divided into two chapters, the first chapter characterizing the process and the quality of further education including the methods and tools used to manage the quality of the processes in further education, the role of quality management in the organizations providing further education. The second chapter deals with various factors influencing the quality of the continuing education processes. The practical part of the thesis includes a research of the quality of the processes of further education, in which quantitative and qualitative methods are used. Marketing Communicetion of the Primary School

Marketing communication of the primary school ABSTRACT The bachelor thesis deals with the issue of marketing communication in education. The aim of the thesis is to compare marketing communication of primary schools in the capital city and primary schools the district of Nymburk. The thesis is focused on the comparison of marketing communication between those schools and parents of pupils who attend them. These findings will be based on electronic questionnaires which were sent to parents of pupils from five primary schools in Prague 12 and five primary schools in the district of Nymburk. The aim of the interview will beat least 70 % return on the total of 300 questionnaires sent out. Subsequently, the questionnaire survey will be evaluated and differences in marketing communication in Prague and in Nymburk district will be analyzed. The research focuses on the differences in the marketing tools used, the complexity of the informations provided through the primary school website, and the question if communication is the most important factor in the choice of primary school. Evaluation of teaching at medical faculties

Students assessment of the quality of teaching is part of the quality assessment of the university and as well it's the management tool used to manage the educational process at the university. The dissertation focuses on student evaluation of teaching process at medical faculties of the Charles Univerzity in Prague. The target of the dissertation is to find out student's and teacher's opinion about the student's teaching evaluation to be one of the quality assesment tools to rate universities, describe teaching evaluation at medical faculties being researched and to analyze annual reports and long-term purposes of selected medical faculties from the student's teaching evaluation point of view. Theoretical part of dissertation is divided in two chapters. The first one is defining the term college and deals with the quality at universities and finally deals with the annual reports of universities.Second chapter elaborates in detail the issue of students assessment of teaching at universities based on the study of professional literature.
