Vondráčková, Jana ; Felcmanová, Lenka (advisor) ; Hájková, Vanda (referee)
This thesis deals with diagnosing school readiness at enrollment for compulsory school attendance. Through interviews with selected teachers coming from nine primary schools these objectives have been met. Elementary schools use different methods for diagnosing school maturity, but in most cases they diagnose the child in the fields recommended by literature. They also cooperate with kindergartens in the enrolment process. Experience of their teachers with an additional postponement in enrolment, or with early enrolment...

These problems occur especially in the view of the demands placed on the school assistant and current specialized literature and recent special educative recommendations to the assistant to the blind. In this thesis also is offered a less common view of school assistance for the assistance was performed at a secondary school. School assistance at primary education is presumably more common. Single examples in the text show performance of educational and non-educational activities of the autor as a school assistant. The operations were identified as areas of support of the blind student. The operations of the school assistant considered arbitrary actually are reflection of experience of the teaching of the blind that has been systemized in recent methodics. Use of cognitive behavioural therapy for individuals with autistic spectrum disorders
Macháčková, Milada ; Felcmanová, Lenka (advisor) ; Hájková, Vanda (referee)
In my thesis I describe the application of cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) to patients with autism-spectrum disorders (ASD), with special attention to the social aspects of this pervasive developmental disorder. Social ineptitude, bad orientation in relationships, reserved behaviour and similar characteristics are typical of ASD, but it does not necessarily follow that an individual who has difficulties to enter into relationships does not desire to do so. These days, CBT enters this system as one of a few demonstrably effective methods. As the theoretical background for the thesis I present CBT as a school of psychotherapy, with its history and current development. Further, I characterize ASD and present the section of the spectrum in which CBT will be used the most. The practical part will present the application of CBT to a client with Asperger syndrome.
