Modeling and Control of AC Electric Drives during Fault Conditions
Hardcore punk in Czecho-Slovakia: From self-organized political protest to political activism?
Bláha, Petr ; Císař, Ondřej (advisor) ; Numerato, Dino (referee) ; Frič, Pavol (referee)
Hardcore and Punk in Czecho-Slovakia: From Grassroots Political Protest to Political Activism? A Case Study of the North Bohemian Hardcore Punk Scene While security concerns are still predominant in Czech subcultural studies, other works have focused on politicisation or taken the anthropological perspective. At the same time, subcultures are the constituent parts of unorganised civil society. Many of their activities are oriented outside the subcultural scene, toward the public space. The present dissertation deals with the hardcore punk subculture as a part of civil society. Its goal was to identify the forms of integration in the public space that are typical of the subculture. The fieldwork was conducted primarily in the Ústí nad Labem Region in the years 2012- 2016. Participant observation and in-depth semi-structured interviews were the chosen research methods. Thematic analysis was subsequently implemented to interpret and analyse the data. The approach was selected following a wide-ranging discussion of the main concepts of subcultural theory, their specifics and characteristics in the post-socialist region. Of central importance were the "core concepts" formulated by Patrick J. Williams, who studied the straight edge subculture around the world. The core concepts could be applied in the study...

Interconnection of AURIX microcontroller with NVIDIA Jetson platform
Smrčka, Michal ; Bartík, Ondřej (referee) ; Blaha, Petr (advisor)
Part of this thesis covers the basics of working with NVIDIA Jetson Nano and AURIX Application Kit platforms, namely TC277 TFT and TC224 TFT. It also theoretically analyzes some peripherals of the platforms. These basics are necessary for the following part, which is focused on the implementation of a serial communication interface for data transfer between platforms. The work describes a program implementation of 2 interfaces: SPI and Ethernet MAC. The communication via SPI (or QSPI in the case of AURIX) is supplemented with the use of GPIO pins, in the case of Ethernet the communication is realized at a link layer using Ethernet frames. The connection via SPI is further tested in a specific application when controlling a BLDC motor using TC224 and AURIX eMotor Drive Kit V2.1, where the measured data is sent to the Jetson Nano for real-time processing.
Inter turn short-circuit detection in vector controlled PMS motor using AI
Zezula, Lukáš ; Kozovský, Matúš (referee) ; Blaha, Petr (advisor)
This thesis deals with the diagnostics of inter turn faults in a vector controlled synchronous motor with permanent magnets. Inter turn faults are detected by the pretrained convolution neural network GoogLeNet from adequately preprocessed signals of phase currents, inverter voltages and electrical angular velocity. Signal preprocesing includes, but is not limited to digital filtration, resampling and Wavelet transform. For the purpose of network training a drive system model is created, capable of simulating inter turn faults. The network is then trained on the simulated data and later validated with data measured on a real drive system, capable of emulating faults. The results of the diagnostics, together with the main problems are presented in the conclusion.
Analysis of PMSM motor inverter behaviour
Buchal, David ; Kozovský, Matúš (referee) ; Blaha, Petr (advisor)
This master‘s thesis deals with the design of a software solution for the AURIX TC234 microcontroller by Infineon Technologies which enables a user to start sampling of the signal at any required moment. A sampling time should be set to the lowest possible value. This solution is then added to the application which is used for a field oriented control of the brushless direct current motor. The obtained values can be further used, for example, for analyzing the waveform of motor currents from which it might be possible to determine the condition of the transistor inverter.
AURIX target in MATLAB Simulink
Chromiak, Michael ; Pohl, Lukáš (referee) ; Blaha, Petr (advisor)
This diploma thesis deals with the implementation of SIL and PIL simulation for the microcontroller Aurix TriCore TC277D performed in the Matlab Simulink. The realization of the simulation represents, among other things, the implementation of the simulated model into the microcontroller, as well as the creation of an interface for the communication of the microcontroller with the Matlab Simulink. The accuracy of SIL and PIL simulations was verified by comparing the simulated waveforms from the simulation in Simulink. The simulated model used a thermal model of a car cabin created in the previous bachelor's thesis of the author of this diploma thesis. The model in TC277D, as well as the configuration for SIL / PIL is created for use with the C programming language. The work also includes instructions according to which the model and configuration can be modified so that the simulations can be performed on any device containing the necessary software. From the comparison of the simulated data is it clear that the created configuration can be used for SIL or PIL simulation.
Comparison of H-infinity and LQG controller
Friml, Dominik ; Blaha, Petr (referee) ; Pohl, Lukáš (advisor)
This thesis deals with the MIMO system analysis, with a comparison of a different frequency charactersitics, and including singular values characteristic. The H2 and H norms are defined for signals and a MIMO systems. A MIMO optimal control using an LQG, an H2 and an H control is defined and described. Their general advantages, disadvantages and similarities are summed up. An H2 and an H state controller and state observer synthesis is implemented in a MATLAB using linear matrix inequalities. Control of an inverted pendulum is designed using the H optimal cascade control, the H2 state control and the H state control. The results are compared with each other. The theoretical possibility of same H2 and H optimal state controller design is presented.
Robotic palletization controlled by PLC
Šefránek, Adam ; Blaha, Petr (referee) ; Pivoňka, Petr (advisor)
The master's thesis deals with a robotic palletizing controlled by PLC. The first part provides examples of palletizing machines. The second part shows how ABB robot is controlled by B&R Automation PLC. The third part introduces selected approaches for automated pallet pattern generation. The fourth part designs library that allows pallet patterns to be generated using B&R Automation PLC. Fifth part covers creation of virtual palleziting cell, which is used to test library for automated pallet pattern generation.
