Burnout syndrome among teachers in preschool education

This bachelor's thesis deals with the burnout syndrom of teachers in kindergarten. The thesis includes theoretical and practical part. The theoretical part observes basic terms and definitions of the work. It defines the conditions that leads to the burnout syndrome and how can we work with it, what are the consequences and what can we do to prevent the syndrome from happening. The practical part discovers how the syndrome affected the life of the teachers and how often did they came across that issue. It follows particular cases of the burnout syndome and detects why the syndome had happend and how did the interviewee deal with it. The research was assigned as a questionare to teachers in kindergarten.

What the reading corners in nursery schools look like and for which activities are they used? Case studies

This bachelor's thesis addresses the subject of reading corners in nursery schools. Its objective is to describe four chosen reading corners, including the activities conducted within them, propose modifications that could enhance these corners, and highlight discoveries that may inspire other educators. The theoretical section provides an overview of the concept of preliteracy and presents information and recommendations on the establishment of reading corners, their placement, furnishings, and activities. The practical section adopts a qualitative research approach, specifically a descriptive multiple-case study, employing interviews with teachers and children, observations, and analysis of books and materials as data collection methods. Utilizing the gathered data, comprehensive descriptions of the reading corners in the four visited classrooms were developed, upon which suggestions for improving these areas were proposed, and exemplary instances of practice were emphasized. Although each classroom has its own distinct characteristics, it can be summarized that all reading corners are situated in a room corner, well-lit, and furnished with comfortable seating. The use of interactive whiteboards in the education of preschool children

The bachelor's thesis deals with the use of interactive whiteboards in the education of preschool children. The thesis contains a theoretical and a practical part. In the theoretical part, preschool education, preschool age, framework educational program for preschool education, the use of interactive whiteboards in teaching, teachers and technology are clarified, and the last chapter introduces the interactive whiteboard, its history, types, advantages and disadvantages. The practical part is devoted to pilot studies, where we will find a design of a set of exercises and games that is suitable for working on an interactive whiteboard for preschool children, creating exercises and games in the ActivInspire program, applying these exercises and games in kindergarten and observing children's work on an interactive whiteboard . The practical part ends with interviews with the kindergarten teacher. The aim of the bachelor thesis is to find out whether the interactive whiteboard can enrich the education of preschool children and develop them in all areas.

A year in kindergarten with folk song

The bachelor's thesis in the theoretical part deals primarily with folk song in general, its characterization and use in kindergarten. It focuses on connecting folk songs with other musical activities: singing, musically - movement, listening and instrumental. It is also dedicated to the possibilities of using folk songs in all areas of educational content of the framework educational programs. I also discuss planning in the kindergarten classroom and evaluation of thematic units. The practical part includes weekly educational programs that are based on folk songs. Spring and summer programs are subsequently implemented and evaluated because of children's reactions.
