Usage of portfolios in drama classes
Kozlová, Jana ; Marušák, Radek (advisor) ; Tomková, Anna (referee)
I divided my thesis "The usage of portfolios in drama classes " into two parts. The first part of my thesis is theoretical and it deals with different types of portfolios and rates the usage of them in different drama classes. I tried to see the portfolios from the user's point of view. The whole collection of portfolios is a valuable tool that reflects the personality and social development of my students. It allows the observation of a student's attitude and value development. The list of methods and techniques can be found in my thesis, and can be used to plan lessons with the planned portfolio's output. The second part of my thesis shows illustrations of practical drama class lessons and the worksheets that can be used as a basis for future portfolios. The lesson samples contain methods, and information about the realization and reflection of the lessons as well. My thesis contains samples from the children enriched with worksheet evaluations.
Competences of pre-school teachers in drama teaching
Mňuková, Dita ; Marušák, Radek (advisor) ; Holemá, Irena (referee)
The thesis is divided into two blocks - the theoretical part and the empirical part. The first chapter of the theoretical part deals with pre-school education in general, with the educational mission of kindergartens in compliance with the FEP PSE, with pre- school age specifics, with a kindergarten teacher and his/her professional competences. The second and the third chapters deal with drama education in a kindergarten and with competences of pre-school teachers in drama teaching. In the empirical part I explore the approach to drama education in pre-school education in Jindřichův Hradec and preparedness of local teachers in the field of competences in drama teaching. The research has shown that most teachers consider drama education one of the most important elements of pre-school education. They have social and personality competences, among which they include empathy, understanding, tolerance, patience and ability to develop positive relations among children. However hardly anyone is concerned with theory.

Teaching French without schoolbook. The role of the game phenomena in French education.
Coufalová, Petra ; Klinka, Tomáš (advisor) ; Machleidtová, Silva (referee)
The aim of the thesis is to present the phenomena of game that is an inspiration for many methods of teaching French, as well as to point out the idea of all the other options how to teach children independently of a schoolbook. The objective is not to downgrade the schoolbook, which definitely belongs to the traditional teaching, but to emphasise the role of the game that is not less important. The work defines the areas (drama, music and diverse types of games) which are closely related to the game. Furthermore, in teaching French it focuses on dramatic education being postulated as an ideal mean to the whole child's personality activation, and on the development of the ability to react autonomously in a foreign language. The work covers the analysis of two schoolbooks and deals with the question whether game activities or dramatic education elements are included. In conclusion there is a description of the project realised in school year 2010-2011 which is aimed to teaching without schoolbook.
