Problematics of a school violence

The diploma project called "Problems with Violence in School Educational Environment" is divided into the parts - Introduction, Theoretical Part, Empirical Part, Conclusion. The Theoretical Part is separated into the five chapters - Demarcation and Definition of Concepts, Division of Aggression, Shows of Children's Violent Manners, Shows of Adolescents' Manners, Resolution of Aggression. The Empirical Part of the thesis verifies set hypotheses and targets. It is investigated, what type of aggression teachers meet towards their own person in their occupation, whether they meet more with aggression of boys or girls. The attributes of aggressors are also researched - what school results they have according to their teachers, what sort of families they come from. There is monitored link between action games or action movies and possible connection with frequency of aggression. During the study, we are discovering how often teachers in schools solve the problems connected with pupils' aggression and in which taught subjects violence and lack of discipline occur according to teachers' experience. Behavior of children in younger school age on the Internet (social networks) and their motivation for sharing personal data in this enviroment

This master thesis aims mainly on behaviour of primary-school children in the environment of the internet and on motivation which can lead to dangerous behaviour such as providing personal data. The theoretical part defines basic terms. Firstly, it focuses on psychological profile of primary-school children and on their experience with new technologies, then it describes major types of danger as results of hazardous behaviour of children on the internet focusing on cyberbullying and cybergrooming. The end of the theoretical part presents a number of basic researches related to primary-school children behaviour on the internet, which took place in the Czech Republic during last several years. The empirical part aims on qualitative research using the method called focus groups among primary-school children. Firstly, the research purpose and the methodology are described, followed by the most important part of the thesis - presentation of the results of the research and its evaluation, which involves also recommendation for education in this field and other potential researches. The conclusion of the thesis focuses mainly on the evaluation of the research and the work as a whole from the writer's point of view and on propounding of possible further development in this area. Psychological aspects of cyberbullying

Diploma thesis "Psychological aspects of cyberbullying" deals with bullying, modern ways of communication and cyberbullying. It brings the main psychological knowledge connected to bullying, inquires into phenomena of communication using modern technologies and presents fundamental information about cyberbullying. The research part consists of qualitative and quantitative research. The purpose of qualitative research was to chart the phenomena connected to bullying and cyberbullying. The quantitative one informs then about the incidence of bullying and cyberbullying in the Czech Republic and conducts a survey of feelings, which are experienced by the victims of bullying and cyberbullying. The important part of the thesis is the statistical reliance analysis of those feelings according to various factors.
Aggression and Violence towards Educators - from the Perspective of Secondary School Educators

The master thesis entitled Aggression and Violence towards Educators - from the Perspective of Secondary School Educators elaborates the problem of aggression and violence in school. The theoretical part contents a general description of the phenomena aggression and violence, further it focuses on school aggression, violence among pupils (bullying, cyber bullying) and other forms of school violence. The main research problems of the thesis are two forms of school violence: these are aggression and violence of students towards educators and aggression and violence of parents towards educators. The focus is concentrated on various forms of verbal and physical aggression exerted towards educators. Related to aggression and violence towards educators the thesis also attends to cyber-harassment and to a heavy form of school violence as is school shooting. In the empirical part of the thesis the aggression and violence aimed towards teachers, caused by students and their parents as well, are inquired in detail in the research. Phenomenom analysis of internet videoclips as a cause of cyber-bullying

The work relates to the increasingly frequent cases of attacks on young people who act in their own videos, which are becoming the social network phenomenon. Young people are presented through a variety of audiovisual contents which is then aggressively attacked and massively shared. This paper seeks the causes of such behavior of recipients. In the first part I describe the context in which videos are produced, what is the impact and response. I refer to the reaction of media and ordinary Internet users. In the analytical part I use different tools through which I try to penetrate deeper into the structure of those videos, find out what fail and try to reveal where is the cause of fascination and motivation to aggressive incursions. I watch mainly symptomatic scope of these videos and looking how it relates to society and ideology. I analyze videos primarily in terms of neoformalistic analysis, semiology, mythology,cultural studies, feminist theory and psychoanalysis. Through these methods I discover latent dimensions that video clips can possibly contain. The study focuses only on videos in which appearing young girls. One of the objectives of this study is to identify precisely the possible influence of gender and how the reception is motivated by sexuality.
Attitudes of teachers to the phenomenon of cyberbullying

TITLE: Attitudes of Teachers to the Phenomenon of Cyberbullying AUTHOR: Jiřina Piškulová DEPARTMENT: Department of Education SUPERVISOR: PhDr. Michal Zvírotský, Ph.D ABSTRACT: The thesis deals with the definition of cyberbullying and its relationship to the "standard, school" bullying. It draws attention to their differences and emphasizes their similarities which could be used in working with it. The work contains descriptions of some kinds of cyberbullying and their examples. It specifies the typical features of the aggressor and the victim, again in the contrast to the standard bullying. It gives instructions to the prevention of this socially pathological behaviour from the point of view of the user, his parents and the school. It describes the process of revelation and consequent investigation of cyberbullying and anew it deals with the measures of the school, parents and the user. It comments on cyberbullying aimed at teachers, it defines the attitude and tries to estimate the attitudes of teachers the cyberbullying. The bachelor thesis "Disinhibition forms and manifestation" focuses on the internet communication. Nowadays, mobile phones, Internet and other communication devices can use the Internet or your mobile phone to communicate for hours. Start of thesis deals with an introduction to the history of the Internet and cyberspace as an environment in which the Internet is. Then he deals with basic psychological aspects of communication in cyberspace. It represents a typical group of victims, and various methods of attack. It points out the advantages and disadvantages of Internet and social networks and their dangers, but also on the positive aspects of social networks and the Internet for young people. The bachelor thesis can be used as a source of information to all who are interested in communicating on the Internet. And as a further inspiration to those who explore this area of communication.

Bachelor thesis "PREVENTIVE MEASURES IN THE FIELD OF BULLYING, PARTICULARLY CYBERBULLYING" deals with the issue of bullying and cyberbullying today. I think it's a global problem which appears not only in families, schools, but also employment, military… In my work I try to explain what the concept of bullying and cyberbullying is, what are the causes, features, characters, stages, who is the victim, who is the aggressor.It also, what are the types of bullying and cyberbullying, where we encounter the problem and what is a possible solution.In their work also represents professionals who deal with this problem for years.I highlight what are their views on this issue, I present a few real victims and response experts.The work is not research, using questionnaires, to clarify what the situation is one of Prague's elementary school, but also a kind of guide of what to do if a problem arises, where to seek help, who to contact.And of course, are dedicated to the Annex as well as newspaper, internet articles, fliers, interview… The whole job is to capture as big a problem bullying, especially in today's modern world of widespread cyber present.

The work deals with a specific type of bullying: cyberbullying. It describes its characteristics, namely when and where bullying takes place, who is the aggressor and the victim, who is looker-on, and the probable causes and consequences of what this kind of bullying can have on children and youth. The work summarizes the current knowledge of how to prevent cyberbullying and how to deal with it when it is exposed.

Work emphasizes the risks resulting from improper use of information and communication technology (especially computers and the Internet) and offers solutions to minimize these risks. The aim is to acquaint the reader with the emerging phenomena due to using computers, such as the already extensive social networking, cyberbullying and "addiction" emerging on the Internet and computer games.
