Wanda method as a tool of the learning organization in primary school

This diploma theses aims to examine the benefits of the method Wanda as a tool of the learning organization in primary school. The theoretical part focuses on the professional development of teachers, deals with the concept of learning organization and conditions of its application in primary schools and describes Wanda method and its use in teachers collective. The research part presents information about Wanda seminars for primary school teachers obtained from three sources - observation, questionnaire surveys and interviews with participants. It examines benefits and challenges of the method in specific cases and besides the positives and the pitfalls of the method it studies the conditions necessary for successful completion of Wanda seminars. SELF-EVALUATION IN SECONDARY SCHOOLS Abstract The dissertation thesis focuses on self-evaluation - self-evaluation of schools - in secondary schools in the Czech Republic with an emphasis on creation and development of professional community of teachers and creation of schools as Learning Organizations. The current state of research in the field of self-evaluation is described by the study of Czech and foreign literature. Self-conducted empirical investigation helped to determine the real state of its implementation in our secondary schools. In the framework of the thesis, self-evaluation is understood as a condition for further development of the school, improvement of the quality of teachers and all school activities; so that the school would be able to best reflect the needs of the market and its social partners. The purpose is to allow the school itself to assess its situation, to define its own problems and to find solutions - to find self-improvements. The thesis introduces a variety of approaches, benefits and difficulties that the current state of self-evaluation causes. Role of a Director on the Way to a Successful School

IN ENGLISH: The final thesis deals with the issue of further education and development of teachers in primary schools and kindergartens. The theoretical part is based on the characteristics of successful schools and learning organizations. The role of the headmaster and his activities is explained with regards to specifics of the school. Described career development tools are applied to the school environment. Research part of the thesis provides information about the use of described career development tools in surveyed kindergartens and elementary schools. A partial unplanned finding is the information that nearly half of the headmasters does not feel accordingly expertly equipped for leading teachers in their professional development.
Mentoring in the Nursery School as a Way to the Learning Organization

The theoretical part of the thesis consists of literary research focused on mentoring, mentoring relationship, goals and importance of mentoring, kinds and phases of mentoring, mentoring at the beginning of a teacher's career, mentoring in the course of his / her career, giving examples of implemented projects which were aimed at mentoring, and the relationship between the mentor and the learning organization. The main goal of the empirical part is to elaborate a model example for effective use of mentoring in nursery schools as a potential tool leading to the learning organization. Some necessary requirements and ideal conditions for implementing the internal mentoring in the nursery school are stated, the time schedule for implementing the internal mentoring has been elaborated, and both formal and content part for its implementation has been suggested, including some advice and recommendations. Education of Employees in Non-governmental Organizations

As far as my diploma thesis is concerned I deal here with the topic of education of employees in non-governmental organizations. The theoretical part of my work is focused on clarification of often used terms connected with this issue, such as non-governmental organizations, education, qualification and competency, learning organization etc. I address the next part of my work to the system of education in organizations generally and then I search for the particularities of this issue in non-governmental organizations. My work deals with form and system of education of employees in non-governmental organizations, with motivation for education and how the employees themselves perceive the education and vocational development in their non-governmental organizations. To gain data for case study I used the method of qualitative research - method of half-structured interviews which I led with employees and managing employees of non-governmental organizations. The main idea of my work was to understand how the situation on this field look like, what are the trends and progress of education of employees and what news it could bring to civil society or rather to the society in general.
Lifelong education, employee selection and corporate culture of the chosen company

The main objective of this diploma thesis is to characterize forms of education in selected enterprise, analyse it in relation to the corporate culture and suggest changes leading to a desirable future state of the knowledge-based economy. In connection with the theme and the main objective of this thesis is the research also focused on the corporate culture, the recruitment and the selection of employees. The theoretical part consists of theoretical knowledge, which relate to the issue of development of employees through lifelong learning, selection of employees, corporate culture and knowledge economy. The practical part contains information about selected company. This part also analyses the corporate culture, the selection and training of employees, through the use of quantitative and qualitative methods. The obtained results are the basis for proposing effective changes. At the end of the diploma thesis are proposed some changes which should improve the current situation, especially the area of employee training to reach a knowledge-based economy in the future.

The subject of my graduation theses is „Proposal and Apply into Practice of a System of Learning Organization“. Because of high competitive conduct in the marketplace and continual progress in all of branches, the continual improving is very important for all companies. Many of workers are often irreplaceable. And company is becoming very vulnerable in the case of his inability or leaving. This problem can be solved by transformation of „a learning organization“. It is the complicated process, when is necessary to change an organization structure, to analyse current working stations and to analyse real organization´s requirements (personal audit). Coessential part is an actual description of working stations, determination and evaluation single worker´s competences and fulfilment evaluation. By establishing „a system of a learning organization“ we can get a target for future and also we put aside a risk so-called „irreplaceable worker“. A practical part is targeted on research. The main instruments are questionnairies and interview. The questionnairies are targeted on worker´s satisfaction, competence and evaluation. Gained information can be used for comparation with the previous research and as a base for a proposal. A theoretical part is targeted on methodology that deals with evaluation of workers and also with components of „a system of learning organization“. It means a methodology of working station´s analyse, determination and evaluation single worker´s competences, methodology 360° etc. The purpose of this work is to propose and apply of „a system of a learning organization“.
Principles of learning organization project team

This thesis deals with theory and practice of learning organizations applied to the IT project team. In theoretical part key definitions and terms related to the problems of the learning organization and the information society. At the same time gives a demonstrative interpretation of the self-learning organization by various authors and presents their specific models. As the fundamental, this thesis uses the theory of Peter Senge, with which it is being worked also in the practical part, where the IT project team is analysed of their behaviour, and compared to the results obtained with the theory of the five disciplines of Peter Senge. In conclusion there is a set of recommendations that could improve the functioning of the IT development team and achieve a greatest compliance with the learning organization concept.
