Vidovičová, Dominika ; Koldinská, Kristina (advisor) ; Štefko, Martin (referee)
130 Abstrakt v anglickém jazyce We comprehend the coordination of social security systems as an interconnection of social security systems of Member States therefore the free movement of persons can be carried out. The aim of Coordinating Regulations is to ensure that a migrant does not loose his/her claims on social rights due to his/her enjoyment of free movement. Concerning the large extent of this topic the thesis is focusing only on old-age and survivors' pensions according to valid Regulations (EC) No 883/2004 and No 987/2009 of the European Parliament and of the Council which entered into force on 1 May 2010. The preliminary chapter out of five at total generally presents the nature of the Coordinating Regulations. It clears up their development and aims. It further introduces other sources of coordination law and explains their relations with other sources of EU law and international law. The determination of personal and material scope of Coordinating Regulations is the indispensable part of this chapter as well. The second chapter highlights the cardinal importance of basic principles of Coordinating Regulations - the principle of equal treatment, the principle of single applicable legislation, the principle of aggregation of periods, the principle of export of benefits and the principle of good...

In the first part you will find specifications of the volunteer hiring and education from organization point of view here represented by the coordinators. The second part describes the qualitative data research, providing volunteer's point of view on the same process. The research itself is targeting to provide the key moments of the volunteer's work at hospice organizations. It provides over all view of the main motivators of the work and on the other hand describes death with understanding and placing it as part of human life while showing its place in the society. The thesis is also showing the whole volunteering concept with its unused potential. All real life situations are also supported by other means of research - document analysis...
Monitoring of the impact of external load on timing of shoulder girdle muscles during abduction in scapular plane - pilot sEMG study
Knorová, Kateřina ; Čech, Zdeněk (advisor) ; Valouchová, Petra (referee)
Bachelor's thesis "Monitoring of the impact of external load on timing of shoulder girdle muscles during abduction in scapular plane - pilot sEMG study" is focused on the changes of muscle activation pattern in response to increase of strength demands. Theoretical part contains a review on factors influencing the movement outcome and the strength capability of musculoskeletal system. Experimental part is based on pilot sEMG study monitoring the impact of external load on timing of shoulder girdle muscles during abduction in scapular plane. Thirteen subjects (10 females, 3 males) at the age range from 20 to 30 years (median 21 years) were included in this study. The experiment consisted of 3 model situations: A) without external load, B) with light load (1kg) and C) with excess load (3-10kg). All muscles were activated earlier with increasing load. The differences between mean onset times of individual muscles were decreasing with increasing load. Results of this study support the theory of coordination-strength funcional reserve of musculoskeletal system. Discussion summarizes possible consequences and possibilities of using this phenomenon; both in testing, therapy and monitoring its effects.
Stimulation of strength, speed, and coordination, abilities in the ice hockey goaltender
Dohnal, Vladimír ; Perič, Tomáš (advisor) ; Vojta, Zdeněk (referee)
Thesis title: Stimulation of strength, speed and coordination abilities in the ice hockey goaltender. Aim of the thesis: To describe theoretical basis of stimulation in ice hockey goaltenders. To design a model of goaltender's strength, speed and coordination training and to find suitable methods, means and forms of the stimulation of strength, speed and coordination abilities focused on youth teams and older goaltenders. Method: Qualitative analysis of document contents was used to identify the main theoretical basis of stimulation of goaltenders strength, speed and coordination abilities. Determiners of goaltenders' strength, speed and coordination development were described on the basis of deeper analysis. The main theoretical resources were finally integrated into a logical complex by the method of synthesis. On this basis the conception of strength, speed and coordination abilities stimulation could have been set up and suitable methods, means and forms of the goaltenders' strength, speed and coordination training could have been chosen with focus on youth teams and older goaltenders. Results: The thesis discusses the topic of stimulation of goaltender's strength, speed and coordination abilities, describes the basic theoretical basis and determiners of goaltenders' strength, speed and...
Movement in mathematics
Muchová, Zuzana ; Jirotková, Darina (advisor) ; Hejný, Milan (referee)
In my thesis I concern with the use of motoric activities in math classes. The chapters that offer a range of motoric activities were processed on the base of a questionnaire and an experiment. Some of the activities are currently being implemented in math classes by teachers of first, second and third grades at primary schools, others are part of textbooks designed for this age group. In addition to that, I offer five more possible activities, which have been recorded and interpreted within six experiments. The goal of the thesis is to demonstrate that physical movement cannot be separated from the life of six to nine years old children, and offer some motoric activities, which can potentially be contributive for development of mathematical skills and abilities.
Global Games
Fiala, Tomáš ; Gregor, Martin (advisor) ; Janda, Karel (referee)
In this thesis we review literature about the coordination problem under an uncertainty. We set up a continuum player model of collective action, in which part of the population must coordinate on an action in order to achieve a mutual benefit. The complete information version of the model features multiple equilibria. We study the role of various sources of uncertainty in the model and compare them. We also examine the role of private and public information. We discuss particularly the global game, the coordination game of incomplete information in which agents received different but correlated signals about the state. We demonstrate that in the global game an unique equilibrium can be found by iterated elimination of dominated strategies. We compare the global game to related models and examine the consequences of relaxing the assumptions of global game. In addition we show some practical implication of the model for revolutions and currency crises.
New regulations on the coordination of social security in the EU - basic principles and coordination of sickness benefits
Janalík, Václav ; Koldinská, Kristina (advisor) ; Štefko, Martin (referee)
It has been almost one year since the new Regulations No 883/2004 and 987/2009 came into force on 1.5.2010. These regulations replaced the former Regulations No 1408/71 and 574/72, which had been laying down the rules for coordination of the national social security systems for almost 40 years. As the extent of issue is relatively huge I have focused only on some aspects of coordination. The first chapter concerns the general concept of coordination and the sources of coordination law. It also includes the detailed description of personal and material scope of regulations. One part of this chapter is dealing also with some of the new concepts included in the regulation. The second chapter describes the basic social security coordination principles, ie. the principle of equal treatment, the principle of single applicable legislation, the principle of exporting the benefits and the aggregation principle. In addition to these four basic principles mentioned above new rule for the assimilation of facts is described. This is in fact a new principle, previously applied only on the basis of case-law. The third chapter focuses on organizational aspect at both EU and national levels. There are lists of all relevant bodies included together with description of their roles and responsibilities. The fourth chapter...
Coordination abilities in long-term concept sports training of children
Oburková, Renata ; Perič, Tomáš (advisor) ; Krištofič, Jaroslav (referee)
Title Coordination abilities in long-term concept sports training of children Objective The point of the thesis is handle the issue of coordination ability. In the first part of the thesis I will talk about general issues of children's sports training, developmental patterns and the characteristic of sensitive periods. The fundamental basis of my research part is find out how the coordination skills involved in long-term sports training, what is their role in motor development of children and what their biological basis. Methods The thesis has a theoretical character and it uses qualitative methods: compares, analyses and interprets texts and data acquired through background research. Results Coordination skills have proven essential element of successful mastery of motor skills in the concept of long-term sports training more or less dependent on coordination. If there are individual skills developed in the sensitive periods is very difficult to catch up with missed this and achieve the same level of skills acquired. Important role in the development of coordination skills and heredity plays a connection with the state and function of the central nervous system. Key words sports training of children, coordination, development, sensitive periods
