ABSTRACT: The thesis - Contemporary art at school - post internet age is about current arts occasions, concretely Post internet art. I try to state and define this kind of art and place post internet art to context with art education afterwards. Specific art pieces and their similarities in related zones of art are reflected in didactic transformations. The research is focused on difficulties, which can come into the art education lessons. It is realized with different methods, on different kind of school. In concluision my original art piece is bringing more comprehensive knowledge about post internet art. The convergence of film and architecture. The case of Prague

This dissertation examines the as yet untethered practice of the convergence of film and architecture in public municipal spaces against the backdrop of the idea of the relocation of the moving picture. Since this is an interdisciplinary practice whose forms and operations are influenced by a host of dynamics, the initial film perspective is supplemented by related themes from the spheres of architecture, public municipal space, and the organisation of culture and the applied arts, including advertising. The wide range of subjects covered in this dissertation is given focus by narrowly localised research examining the situation in Prague from the 1990s until 2010. Along with the case study, the chapters devoted to the discursive field form a progress report on the situation as regards this particular media practice, the outputs of which are subject to a short half-life that considerably limits the possibility of archiving them. The structure of the case study is derived from a specific classificatory framework and is close to the "catalogue" format, determined by a series of questions - who participated on the convergence of film and architecture and where, when and how. From art criticism to art journalism? Czech arts writing after 1989

The purpose of the disertation From Art Criticism to Art Journalism? Czech Arts Writing after 1989 is to find out how did the Czech politics and society transformation influence the character of art critique, particularly the visual arts reflection. How did the post-1989 art critique deal with the communist regime past and relics? How was the art critique influenced by the art development and by the changes in the media structure and functioning? Content analysis of selected periodicals texts from the 1990s enables us to follow if and how do the form and content of the visual arts reflecting texts mirror the communication, art and media character and structure development. Church of the Discovery of the Holy Cross in Litomyšl and its reconstruction Abstract The object of this work is the Piarist Church of the Discovery of the Holy Cross in Litomyšl. Introductory chapters are devoted to the construction and historical development of the building in the context of the history of the city and its architecture. Focus of the work lies in the analysis of the form to which church was recently restored under the project of Revitalization of the Castle Hill in Litomyšl. Architect Marek Štěpán retained the sacred character of the church, but he also gave it the new features. The work tries to capture some aspects of the dialogue between contemporary architecture with a Baroque monument and results into an evaluation of the new church life as a cultural center.

The Saatchi Phenomenon

This bachelor thesis focuses on Charles Saatchi, who will be presented here as an important figure among contemporary art collectors. Not only the biography, which is written in the following chapters, but also Saatchi's art collection, buying strategies and the Saatchi Gallery are mentioned. This thesis examines possible connections between Saatchi's acquisitions and the art market. Besides these is written more about the influence of Charles Saatchi on Young British Artists, a loose group of artists. This bachelor thesis presents also Saatchi's relations to the other art collectors.

Contemporary Art Market in Selected Regions of the Middle East

The bachelor thesis Art Market in the Middle East creates a basic scheme for understanding the art market in the Middle East. It deals with the specifics of the region encountered in the field of art market, establishment of museums and connections between art and market development. The approach is mainly historical, following the cultural and political context and addressing the highly relevant question of authenticity. The paper consists of two main chapters. The first one deals with the development of art market in Egypt - since the end of the 19th century until today. It describes private and public art institutions in Egypt and discusses the presentation of Egyptian art abroad. The second chapter presents examples of some local peculiarities of the Middle Eastern art market and institutions which are unique in the world-wide context because of the specific interaction of global and local factors.

It is focused on using and changing both analog and digital photography including photomontage, collage and animation. Peroutková, P.: Art as a Social Intervention. [Diploma thesis] Prague 2014 - Charles University in Prague, Faculty of Education, Department of Art education, 99 s. (Attachment: cd with video-documentation) This work is a theoretical study of art as a social intervention with an application on a didactic project in art education. Firstly, it outlines the underlying issues linked to social interventions, especially to participatory art. Secondly, these issues are subsequently examined on diverse approaches on both Czech and international art scenes after 1990. They are connected by the common subject of food, which appears in socially engaged art projects across the whole range of different approaches and strategies. Further, it points to the connection of examined strategies and teaching activities. The phenomenon of art as a social intevention is also used as the main theme in a didactic project implemented in art education, in grammar school and on an author's project.
