Myslíková, Adéla ; Handl, Vladimír (advisor) ; Šafařík, Petr (referee)
This bachelor thesis deals with the topic of voting behaviour towards the Green Party in Germany. The paper focuses specifically on the elections to the Landtag in 2016, in the two Länder Baden-Württemberg and Saxony-Anhalt. The Green Party achieved completely different results in these two elections, winning the elections in Baden-Württemberg and barely getting to the Landtag in Saxony-Anhalt. These two Länder serve as examples of the differences between the old and new Länder, which persist for almost 30 years after German reunification. The thesis tries to find answers to the questions of what specific differences in electoral behaviour towards the Green Party and its topics exist in the new and old Länder, what are the reasons and what are the consequences for German politics. The first theoretical part of the thesis presents the factors of voting behaviour, which are divided into long-term and short-term. In the second analytical part of the work, is this theory applied to a comparative case study of the two mentioned elections, which are compared on the basis of factors of voting behaviour. Intraparty Democracy of the Czech Greens
Gavriněv, Vojtěch ; Perottino, Michel (advisor) ; Jüptner, Petr (referee)
This thesis examines the level of intra-party democracy within the Czech Greens. Using two separate content analyses (a quantitative analysis of the party statutes and a qualitative analysis of several interviews with active party members) the three main criteria of intra-party democracy are measured - inclusiveness, decentralisation and institutionalisation. Following the results of the two said analyses that both prove and amend each other it is stated that the level of intra-party democracy within the Czech Greens is currently considerably high. The two analyses also revealed persisting gaps and possible threats to intra-party democracy within the Czech Greens. Because of the lack of a comparable research on this topic in Czech political environment the results are collated to those of some other Central-European countries and simultaneously stated as normative. The method used is also suggested to inspire further research to be made on the level of intra-party democracy of any other Czech political party.

Komárková, Marta ; Kostelecký, Tomáš (advisor) ; Daněk, Petr (referee)
The electoral analysis, mainly detecting the causes of success of the particular political party, may bring important findings in the field of Czech democracy development and the society itself. The aim of the thesis is the geographic analysis of the elections (between the years 1990 - 2013), focused on the Green Party (GP), which exists at the Czech political scene since 1990. The main research purpose was to describe and evaluate the differences in the geographical distribution of the electoral support for the Green Party and to determine the factors, which affect the voters, since the party was found up to date, to the last elections at 2013. The special emphasis was put on the factor "air pollution". In the analytic part, the geographic distribution of electoral support is tested with the correlation analysis, coefficient of variance, LISA analysis and regression. As important result may be mentioned the geographical shift of the electoral support between years 1990 and 2013, from the east to the centre of the Republic, and farther to Moravia. The correlation coefficient shows the instability of the electoral base. It corresponds with the analysis of the chosen variables; educated people did not vote for the GP in 1990, whereas they supported GP since 2006 on. Similar evolution had the variable age,...
