Ethic education This diploma work deals with newly implemented school subject "Ethic education" at the school system in the Czech Republic. "Ethic education" has been defined as a project, where main topic is to develop pro-social behaviour. This diploma work specifies elementary educational aims of this project and analyses its particular educational components: contain, methods, style, topics. It also deals with the process of implementation into the Czech school system, in what social context has ethic education has been developing, how it is embodied into Framework Education Programme documents and how psychology as a science looks at moral development of a human being. Author looks at the ethic education through prism of universal principles and outcomes, such as Christian ethics and natural moral law.
Curricular reform in the Czech Republic and the Slovak Republic and its comparison in terms of legal constitution, conduct and attitudes of the educational staff

The main objective of this work is to identify similarities and differences of the curricular reform in the Czech Republic and the Slovak Republic in terms of legal constitution, conduct and attitudes of the educational staff. As a research method uses a combination of qualitative and quantitative research, textual analysis of documents (legal norms, conceptual and strategic documents) and the questionnaire (opinions and attitudes of teachers). Respondents for the survey were selected by stratified selection to include leading educators and ordinary teachers, primary and secondary schools in both countries. The comparison showed that the process of curriculum reform in both countries are very similar, although the Slovak conducted with less delay. Framework educational programs in the Czech Republic and public education programs to Slovak consistently beyond the compulsory education through learning objectives, competencies, learning outcomes and course content. Quantitative research has demonstrated a lower level of acceptance of reforms in the Slovak Republic in comparison, which is related to a lower degree of familiarity of teachers in the country. Title of bachelor work: Influence and use of art education on the development of mental and social skills, knowledge and habits of children diagnosed with autism Abstract The bachelor thesis named "The use and impact of art education on the development of mental and social skills, knowledge and habits of children diagnosed with autism" is elaborated as a participatory probe where the core is the analysis of artistic tasks for pupils with autistic spectrum disorders, with a focus on analyzing the impact of creative duties on development of key competencies in accordance with RVP and individual IVP, drawn up for each individual student, in collaboration with SPC Most. The thesis contains a set of individual artistic tasks, the methodology used to work on individual activities, analysis of the impact of activities to develop the skills, knowledge and habits of students, documentation and critical evaluation of a series of creative tasks and results of the probe.
Work with pupil's portfolio at primary school

This Master's thesis is divided into the theoretical and research part. The theoretical part is focused on the concept of primary education, in particular on the area of key competences. The thesis submits methods through which pupil's key competences can be developed. The major focus is placed on the pedagogical device which develops key competences and that is a pupil's portfolio. The thesis describes different types of the portfolio as well as its importance especially in the process of self-assessment of the pupil. The main aim of the research part is to investigate the benefits of using the pupil's portfolio and to describe its forms in different grades at primary school. This part is primarily focused on the concept of working with portfolio at two different primary schools. There are also interviews with teachers and pupils which suggest arguments why working with the portfolio is beneficial and what possible difficulties can occur. Responses which were received from the interviews with teachers show that the main benefits of working with the pupil's portfolio include the possibility of gathering pupil's works at one place, developing some system, storing of works, providing and documenting of pupil's results. All this is can be used especially during consultations with parents and the pupil.
Research-like education in primary schools

In this thesis, we assume a pan-European issue of the decline of interest in science and science education. In connection with this issue we conducted a literature search. We have also mapped the literature related to the issue of education research in the Czech Republic and the rest of the world. In an effort to increase pupils' interest, increase enthusiasm for science, we deal with activation teaching methods that compare with frontal teaching. As a motivational method we chose a research method of teaching. We prepared a lesson, which we tested among pupils of secondary school. In this work we watched 16 hours in 6 classes. Those lectures were inquiry and frontal way led. The results are presented in the practical part of this thesis. During lectures we wanted to stimulate students' interest in science and science research. Development of Key Competencies in Teaching of Natural Science in the Primary School Stage in the Waldorf School System

This thesis deals with the development of key competencies in teaching of Natural Science in the primary school stage in the system of Waldorf School. The theoretical part of the thesis expounds on the issues of the transformation of education as well as the characteristics of teaching in the system of Waldorf School. Some terms, such as - key competencies, the transformation of education, alternative trends in education, Waldorf pedagogy and its role in transforming education - are explained there. The research part of the thesis presents an action research, which is focused on the development of the key competencies in the epoch of Natural Science in the third grade of Waldorf School. One of the epochs was described by observation. The results of observations were compared by means of additional questionnaires, which were filled out by teachers. The development of the key competencies in the given epoch was described by the analysis of research. The results of the research confirmed that the educational strategy for the development of the key competencies in Waldorf School was at a very good level. Art education in the after-school club specialized on the using of nature resources

My Bachelor work deals with the possibility of the use of natural resources within the frame of the creative art education of children inside the after-school club. I try to focus on familiarization with different variety of natural resources and its utilization in context of pastime activities, concretely inside the after-school club. In full details described preparation and realization of the creative expression and using of natural resources are the part of the project documentation. The aim of my work is approach to the work with children during out- of-school activities inside the after-school club, encourage and support the creation of the positive relation to the ecology and respectable behavior to the nature, as well as using of natural resources for handicraft art.
Analysis of a beginning teacher and his common problems in an educational process

Thesis "Beginning teacher - analysis of his personality, work and the most common problems in his work" deals with the personality of a beginning teacher, mentions the most common problems in his work and tries to find ideas for improving the situation. As the same times in analyses the selected components of his personality, which usually participates the lack of attention, especially in preparing future teachers, and which usually not mentioned in proper context. It focuses primary on the professional competence of teachers in relation to the student's core competencies as well as in other contexts. It also discusses the role of novice teachers in the context of the transformation of the Czech education system and also in the context of the Lisbon process. Analyses of key documents are included too. Great attention is paid to think about the different problematic areas concerning the work of novices teachers. In this context, the author focuses on the matter of authority and educational styles. It is based not only on the special literature but also on the sound, which took the form of numerous interview, surveys, questionnaires and observation. Drama in education and literary story in a nursery school - in the works of Zdeněk Svěrák

This thesis deals with the possibilities of application of Zdenek Sverak's work in a kindergarten drama education. The theoretical section summarizes the information about the life and works of Zdenek Sverak and the findings regarding the possibility of using a literary narrative in a kindergarten, while applying the methods of drama education. There follows a description of the developmental patterns of preschool children and their significance for the drama education. The practical part of the thesis uses the books of Zdenek Sverak to process and reflect upon thematic units, in which the drama education methods were used. At the conclusion of the thesis, there is an evaluation of the research observations, obtained during my implementation of the thematic units.
